ok sick one person liked it that means i get to talk about it. so its called Nebula God Xubolter and the basic premise is there's some space company fighting over some space stations (in this setting theyre kinda like megacities floating around in space that people live on) and asteroids and other stuff against a coalition of psychics trying to start their own space society. none of them really have any true claim over this territory and no one wants them there.

this is a conflict that started a while ago, reached an uneasy peace for a few years, and has started back up again

the company's pilots are all cybernetically augmented humans whose cybernetics are there to help them pilot their mechs, the xubolter series (theres 3, which combine into one super mech). the psychics' have biotech mechs (yea its like evas) that they connect to with their psychic abilities to pilot optimally

aliens also exist within this setting but this is seen as a human conflict that none of them want to get involved in, especially since most are averse to cybernetics? thats a weird gross thing humans do (its also associated with humanitys penchant for creating AI and intelligent robots, as most aliens kind of just lump all that stuff together. thats not really important to this though)

for characters: first up is Beaz (the first one i came up with), a woman who doesnt like taking things too seriously. she acts like everythings a big joke to her, but at some point she cant help but show her kinder side to her fellow pilots. despite how outgoing she seems shes ALSO really cagey about her past? why is she here? why did she VOLUNTEER for this? whats she running away from? but thats not important. she's having a lot of fun piloting Xubolter Leviathan, an aquatic mech, and gettin REAL friendly with one of the mechanics wink wink nudge nudge. dont ask her questions about her past

next is Olliet, an offputting and quiet 15 year old that likes to keep to themself, who's allowed here because everyone with the power to okay something like that was out of their minds. their parents were killed in the previous instance of the conflict due to an error on the company's part, them being the only survivor thanks to the pilot of one of the mechs fishing them out of the rubble and carrying them to safety. everyone assumes that theyre here for revenge, and tries to avoid the topic. if they all know, there's no reason to ask. in actuality, that's not why Olliet's here at all. they can barely remember anything about their parents, whats the point of revenge? the REAL reason theyre here is because the safest, most at-home theyd ever felt was when they were being carried to safety by the mech. theyre literally putting their life at risk because they think that the big robot is their dad, they are "relates to machines instead of other humans" to the extreme. but regardless of their motives, theyre an INCREDIBLE pilot, the best of the company's three. they pilot Xubolter Behemoth, a land-based mech. they're getting along with the ships AI, too!

then there's Trypan, who is so fucking scared all the time. xe used to NOT be so fucking scared all the time but then xe ended up racking up a severe debt with the company due to a series of mistakes and now this is the only way xe can pay it back. xe hates it here, but despite that xe's getting better and better at piloting the aerial mech Xubolter Ziz. the only thing that can consistently calm xem down is xyr new friend(?), Yves, who is able to encourage Trypan to get in the ziz and fight! she's such a great guy, im sure his motives are 100% rooted in Trypan's best interest.

all three of their mechs combine into Nebula God Xubolt, a space-based mech! it is very cool. trust me on this

finally, there's Lio, the ace pilot of the psychics. theyre smug, egotistical, and completely buy their own hype, which is annoying because they can back it up 90% of the time. their biomech is unique in that it has very little external armor, exposing its red sinewy flesh, opting instead to be protected by psychic shielding Lio projects. the lack of armor, while risky, enables it to be three times faster than the average biomech! which is the exact kind of dangerous as fuck move Lio would pull. also Lio has their brain exposed to better connect to their biomech (they cover it with a plastic dome and a wig when out of their mech).
