Indie-pop duo KTJ & CARLY follow up their Oli Harper collaboration with latest single, “Reckless” out today.

Marking the two’s fourth release of the year, “Reckless” is an intense swirl of moodiness and darkness that draws you in with a false sense of security before a deep bass unexpectedly overtakes. The results is dark pop song that creates an insanely danceable beat that is club-ready.

In a social media post, the girls describe the inspiration behind the song as the describe it as “the feeling you get when everything seems to be going wrong in your life because you made bad choices.” The go on to say the song is for reveling in it rather than “hating yourself for it.”
