Rogue Intruder, Soul Enhancer, Oli XL (2019)
Oli XL might be best known for his live sets, but this record – to date, his only official full length – is still pretty good. Not just in the vocal bits (‘boring! lame!’) but in how the tracks endlessly tease bangers without the mercy of release, it’s sort of icily cheeky, as if one is being taken the piss out of by a bot.
