You saw what I posted last night. I’d changed my shoes 👟 into my #vivoshoes for their comfort. For the videos I’ve posted now I wore trainers with special soles that I had custom made for an earlier run 🏃 in my local park. In a way they were cumbersome to what I intended to do see videos 8 and 9. However I had to do preliminary warmups on the hospital steps. Walking from the platform at Belsize Park Station on the Northern Line then up ten floors in the Royal Free; I jokingly said to my nearly 95 year old Mother with chronic heart failure COPD and plenty of other stuff you and I would find debilitating; “Mum the longer you stay in hospital the fitter I become”. Of course I want her to get well enough to go home. The exercises I preceded to do on the stairs I was waiting for an overworked Doctor to come and discuss how to handle Mum 👩 at home. Nurses were complaining of short staffed. Yes here was an example of a hospital in crisis. Yet they were attentive Mums every needs. It’s ironic I would choose the hospital stairwell to exercise from the platform to 12th floor over400 steps 🆙.
