Part 3 of gifs from the Laredo episode The Last of the Caesars - Absolutely. An uncouth goon has appointed himself Caesar, with plans to build his own old school style Roman Empire right in Texas. He’s even gone so far as to kidnap and then enslave people to fill out his ranks.
While investigating the kidnappings, Reese and Joe are captured by his henchman. Meanwhile, Chad and Erik hatch a scheme to infiltrate the group by posing as people with desirable skills--a sculptor and architect, respectively.
Some lovely buff Gladiator!Joe scenes that showcase William Smith’s ever-impressive physique, and a bit of Chad in peril near the end make it an enjoyable episode despite its rather ridiculous plot.

when i was 12ish, my mom was showing in a western art show. our booth was right next to a nice old man signing autographs. all day he had a steady line of giggling old ladies who were much younger than him that's how old he was. my mom said "you don't know who he is, but that guy was FAMOUS in westerns" and i was like "westerns and old people are boring, but okay" and when I looked up his imdb later he wasn't in anything me or my friends knew, so i forgot about him
...this....THIS was the old guy I met

I. Laramie "lost" scene
Laramie 1.31 Men of Defiance
In a scene removed for unknown reasons from the STARZ collection, Jess Harper talks about the fate of the majority of the Harper family at the hands of the outlaw Banister when Jess was only 15.
A few scenes were removed from this episode, I'm assuming to create a more cohesive storyline that focused on Men of Defiance more than Laramie. I might post others if anyone is interested.
other clips are under the tag #lost footage

Part 1 of gifs from the Laredo episode No Bugles, One Drum. Recurring antagonist Linda Little Trees (played brilliantly by Shelley Morrison) has been in the Rangers sights before but always manages to get away. Reese (Neville Brand) has a plan to use Joe (William Smith) as bait to catch her, since it's a well known fact she's got a thing for him. To Joe's chagrin, the plan isn't entirely shot down by Captain Parmalee (Philip Carey) although he designates it back-burner and lower priority than other assignments.
Joe ends up captured by Linda, anyway, and held prisoner while she prepares for the wedding and he prepares to escape from the wedding.

how else besides blacklisting and sheer narcissism does a man like John Whine become the face of American westerns when THESE men were RIGHT there?

The Ghoul is gonna cut you down
So another Ghoul Cooper Howard image and once again inspired by Johnny Cash...this time God is going to hunt you down...which is a really good song...oh what is the next Johnny Cash song is gonna inspire me? Ring of Fire? Hurt? -thinks about hurt- crap I got another idea...later though.  So funnily enough I worked on the sketch for this while sick...and sounding like a ghoul...fallout 3 version...or Harold from 1 and 2 More Harold to be honest with all the coughing.  And this explosion was so hard to do...will I ever figure out how to do them? Nope, No mater how many refs I look at, brain refuses to translate...unless we talking silly cartoony time because that's easier. and all the detailing I put into this...so good...and so painful
