It all happened so fast. One moment, you held the proof of Anufi's innocence in your hands, then the next, Okul had snatched the vile from you and unstoppered it before chugging it down, much to Anufi's horror.

Your heart plummets the same time the concoction runs down Okul's throat. What if you were wrong? What if Anufi's remedy did wipe out your entire clan, murdering your mother and the rest of your friends' families? If your faith was misplaced, then you had just condemned Okul; condemned them to a horrible end and you didn't get to tell them how you feel because you killed them.

You killed them because Okul believed in you to find the proof. You lost them. You lost them like you lost your sister--

Your rampant thoughts are deafened when Okul lifts their head once more, waiting for something that doesn't happen, then smiles. Their wide, eccentric smile that is immediately directed at you before Anufi draws their attention away to see for herself.

Your heart starts once more.

Some of my favourite little details in avatar: frontiers of pandora

The two guards outside the council room in the aranahe hometree that just chat shit? All the time? Even during that last confrontation with Etuwa's father they're just stood chatting about someone's poor foraging skills or some shit it's so funny

The fact that the camera lowers when you're speaking to humans, which I know is probably so we can get a good look at them but I chose to believe it's because your sarentu slowly kneels until they're eye level with them

Nefika and Relun's dynamic of miserable old man and batshit crazy old woman

Whatever the fuck Okul's got going on. Gender? Babes they're clinically insane, they're too busy running into poisonous gas to worry about gender

The sleeping pod things hanging from the ceiling in the hometree. It took me forever to work out where they were all sleeping because there was no way they were all fitting in that one sleeping den

Alma didn't know what could have transpired after Anufi revealed her part in the Sarentu's disappearance to the kids. Couldn't have known that Nor would have taken his blade to her gut before she could explain. Before she could really tell them why, before she could defend herself If only she had been in her Avatar when he did so…

“You’re back. I wasn’t expecting you to return so soon. Let alone today.” He stated, his eyes dropping down to her side briefly then returned up to her face.

Alma tilted her head softly. “Anufi returned back to the Hollows. I asked, and she agreed. I hoped Anqa would have picked me up but no one left me a radio.” She said but allowed a deep sigh to leave her more casually. “I learned of the battle this morning. Did we lose anyone? Is everyone okay?”

“A few lives were lost but everyone is now being attended to and healing. The Sarentu are also here. Teylan has returned.”

Alma’s eyes widened, her heart leaping. “Teylan?” He was back? They had found him?

“Yes, He is with the other two.” So’lek bobbed his head softly and gestured towards the airlock. “But, he’s been since informed of your…history.” The disapproval hung in the undertone of his voice. His eyes simmered with a low level of anger but he looked to be pushing past that.
