not to continue villain posting but i really wish the regret narrative extended to elgar'nan and ghilan'nain. all of our companions get it, solas gets it, mythal gets it- but our two big bads seem bizarrely one-note for dragon age antagonist. i'm not saying i want them to turn around and have a "i was wrong 🥺" moment because that would be silly, but idk! i just wish they had something more to them than haha evil bastards + awe evil family that cares for each other. where is the depth.
