he brought the hot chocolate to his lips as he gazed outside the window at the three children next door, accompanied by a bumbling old man and two other children hovering near the doorway, staring flatly at the others. he turned his attention back to his laptop, furrowing his brows slightly as he read over his (fake) thesis again.

"come to think of it," he heard a familiar voice at the door, "it's the first time since we met that it's snowed, isn't it?"

he hummed lowly in agreement, drawing his attention to you and letting you drape yourself around him - he wasn't a very physically affectionate person, he preferred to let his actions do the talking, but he supposed he didn't mind if it was just you and him behind closed doors.

"do you hate it?" at his confused gaze, you continued. "winter, i mean."

he wasn't quite sure.

winter was cold, but that meant warm nights by the fireplace and your hot chocolate that was a little too sweet (but he didn't mind). winter was unforgiving, but that meant early mornings spent under the covers with you. winter was bright (maybe a little too bright sometimes), but it wasn't as bright as you (maybe he had read a few too many of the romance books in the kudo mansion's library.) winter meant his hands weren't as flexible, but it meant you could hold his hand (and who was he to refuse).

(and he supposed it did give him a valid excuse to continue wearing that turtleneck the waiter at poirot despised.)

he stared back outside at the children. sensing someone was watching them, the three paused, grinning up at him and waving excitedly, jumping up and down.

"insufferable brats," you muttered, coming up next to him and pointedly ignoring their visible gasps and kissing acting.

"now, now," he hummed, smirking bringing you in closer and sparing a final glance outside the window at the now-cheering children.

"don't humour them," you grumbled, pushing him away slightly.

"why not?" he hummed, making no move to fight back and allowing himself to be pushed away.

he received no answer from you.

"so? why'd you come in here in the first place?" subaru continued, "surely you didn't come here to just interrupt my revision?"

"the professor - well, the kids - wanted us to come over to bake cookies with them and teach them how to have a 'proper snowball fight'," you quoted, scowling slightly as you recalled their cries indignation, "according to haibara and conan-kun, they're doing it wrong and so they'd like... another adult opinion."

his eyes shone in amusement behind his glasses, a flicker of challenge flashing in them.

"you sure you don't just want to see me get pummelled by elementary schoolers?"

you smirked.

"who knows."

he supposed this first snowfall with you wasn't so bad.

Just thinking of older bf!Akai being sat down by his cute little gf and her telling him that she's not sure she can fully move in with him. And she feels bad, he's been asking for awhile, but in a year she'll probably break up with him anyways since she wants to marry and have children one day, so why waste all this money now?

He's completely dumbfounded. He always thought he'd have to break her little heart one day, that she won't be able do draw that line - come to terms with the fact that he won't give her the future she wants. Yet, there is a feeling of pride in his chest that he cannot ignore. He ruffles her hair and chuckles at her usual antics later in the evening.

Still, that night he stays awake, he has much to think about. All the while he holds her body tight against his own, the weight and warmth having become so familiar he could barely imagine a future without this.

A week later he's slipped a ring on her finger. She's not the only one who's changed through this relationship.

Hello again!! I was wondering... if you have the time, could you make a post about which type of yandere Akai and Furuya would be? I kind of already think it might be a little ooc for them, but just a small what if that was at the back of my mind. Honestly, I kind of think Furuya would be a more of a Harmless yandere. I dunno about Akai, though... I kind of think they'd be possessive 100% of course, a little more than normal. But that's all I think. Also, hope you're doing well :)

Ooooh I actually never thought about them as yanderes, but this had me wondering immediately. I do think Furuya would be relatively harmless - he wouldn't hurt you, however, he would still be slightly delusional: he does stalk you (although not typically following you, unless he knows you'll be out late and he'll make extra sure you won't notice and get scared - he just wants to make sure nothing happens to you). Usually he keeps tabs on you through trackers and cameras (but not intruding in your intimate moments - he is still a gentleman). The furthest he would go violence-wise would be killing someone who has seriously harmed you. It's a bit weird. He has his moral code - and yet is delusional enough to believe obsessively tracking you is a crime that is alright to commit. He is, most likely, however aware that it is a crime. It's a weird mix of awareness and delusional. A relationship would still include the stalking (or him being overbearingly worried), but other than that "relatively" normal. (If you could say thay)

Akai is very much aware and doesn't care. But, lucky for you, he doesn't really have the time/is too emotionally distant to actually "commit". Compared to Furuya, he is more likely to go the kidnapping route, but that is still more of a fancy of his than anything he would actually do. Where would he put you? He's often away - who would feed you? He keeps tabs on you, but doesn't check on you obsessively like Furuya. It's more like a...nice evening activity, if he has the time. Sitting on the couch or his desk with a bourbon, just watching you - or even just a dot on his phone - move around.

While Furuya might seriously try and integrate himself into your life, Akai would be more like a looming shadow you'll never (and I mean never) know about. Because he'll most likely never reveal himself. He treats it like a passing fancy or a nice hobby to pass the bit of free time he has - kind of like how some think about getting a pet even though they travel a lot.

In a relationship with Akai he honestly doesn't go incredibly overboard. He still treats the stalking etc. as more of a hobby. Maybe there's a bit of an intimidating vibe emanating from him - at least other ppl will tell you that - but he (seems to) treat you pretty well. He's amused by you and your behaviours and reactions; seeing you perhaps a little bit as a pet here and there, but other than that he's a..."decent" bf.

He was somehow bound to see you more often, finding you regulary in the Café or sitting in a Park when he was walking haro. He easily found himself falling for you.The same was for Shuichi, you we're quit often in the libary, almost on a daily Basis. Sometimes even in the supermarket. Youre smile and laugh was to die for. A/N: Thank you so much and I am so sorry that it took so incredibly long. However I went through some personal stuff and just wasn't able to sit myself down to write something. This is the first time I write headcanons so please tell me, what you think.

While as an agent he hadn't really been able to allow himself to settle down and relax anywhere, now he was able to do so all the more

If he then has a significant other who loves cuddles and hugs….

While he doesn't mind wrapping you up in his arms and pressing you against him while standing, he prefers to cuddle up with you on the sofa or in bed. You simply have more options this way and Subaru is always open to variety.

Whether you just rest your head on his shoulder or he wraps his arm around your middle from behind you, or he pulls you onto his lap where you hide your head in his chest or the crook of his neck, he loves it all (although he prefers the latter. Just a little of course).

Just the feeling of having you close, feeling your warmth and being able to bury his nose in your hair or neck to smell your shampoo or shower gel is enough to send the man to cloud nine

He's also not above pressing little kisses over your face, but he usually prefers to just hold you.

Occasionally he'll even read to you if you come round when he's reading. He is happy to interrupt his reading so that you can come into his arms and is also willing to start from the beginning of the book if you quietly ask him to read something to you

In winter, he also often puts a blanket around you, especially when you are cold, to keep your shared warmth, which occasionally leads to you falling asleep on him

However, he doesn't mind and Subaru usually stays put until you wake up on your own. And if it does take a little too long - well, he can always carry you back to bed

Smiling, he looked down at you as you lay curled up on his lap, head tucked into the crook of his neck, mumbling quietly to yourself. He'd realised from the moment you'd walked through the door that you wouldn't stay awake for long, hair sticking out in all directions and exhaustion written all over your face. However, he had still spread his arms out invitingly, whereupon you had fallen exhausted against him, cuddled up on his lap with his arms around you like a protective cocoon and fallen asleep within minutes.

For a few moments he watched your chest rise and fall before he pressed one arm against your back and hooked one under the back of your knees and carefully lifted you up, careful not to wake you. You mumbled softly and moved and he held his breath, but you didn't wake up. Smiling gently, he carried you up the stairs and laid you down on the bed to gently tuck you in.

"Sleep well," he murmured and pressed a kiss to your forehead before leaving the room to start dinner. Perhaps there would be time to join you afterwards.

You come home, head aching, mind filled to the brim. You can hear him talk in the living room. In the bathroom, you can barely keep your eyes open, groaning as you force yourself to wash your hands and not collapse on the toilet seat instead.

Slowly, you trudge towards the voices, pouting when your boyfriend doesn´t immediately turn to you. He does help you on his lap however, resting his chin on the top of your head, though eyes not leaving Jinpei who is talking about god knows what. You briefly notice Gin´s eyes follow you, but ignore him in favour of looking up at your boyfriend. He hums, questioning, and raises a joint to his lips.

"Please? My head hurts."

He brushes your cheek with his thumb, dark eyes watching you for a moment. Then, he decides to help you sit up straight. He takes another drag and, gently holding your chin, exhales right against your parted lips.

Your eyes flutter close and a sense of serenity settles over you. There is nowhere else you´d rather be in this moment. As long as he holds you like that, nothing matters.

A small whine escapes you not much after. You don´t notice how the room has grown silent, careful eyes watching as your breath catches his once again.

You nuzzle into Shuichi´s chest with a content sigh, cheek smushed against him.

Someone chuckles. Only when you feel Shuichi nod a minute later, do you recognise Gin´s voice. Fridge, something to drink, favourite juice. Oh! Favourite juice. Already do you taste the drink on your tongue. You lick your lips and your eyes flutter open. You think he chuckles - he definitely smiles - murmuring something; you can´t make out what. You furrow your eyebrows, but a soft touch on your forehead makes you relax again.

Suddenly, you feel yourself being moved. Now, you rest against him sideways. You squint. The laptop before you plays a show you like. It is only then your mind registers the intro music playing through the headphones in your ears.

You´re not sure how much time has passed, still, you crave more. You bite your lips as you try to turn, looking up to get your boyfriend´s attention. He glances down at you and caresses your cheek. Slowly, he leans down, another puff ready for you.

"C´mon now, pretty girl," he murmurs and helps you stand. You stagger against him, then look up at him, eyes hazy and confused.

"She´s extra cute today," someone says.

Shuichi only hums and picks you up.

"We´ll be back in half an hour."

Gin snorts and Furuya grimaces in disgust.

Shuichi pauses.

"Maybe more. She is extra cute today."

So for Furuya, I think it may not be something he ever even considered. He'll definitely be taken a little aback. However, he wants to try everything you propose at least once and will actually grow to like it. He won't go rabid at the name, but he will talk dirty to you in a raspy voice when he hears the name fall from your lips while he's making you feel good.

"You feeling that good already baby? Haah, I'm glad. Making such a pretty mess for me, such a sweet girl."

Akai is a little more experienced. He does have his preferences (call him sir and he'll pounce on you), but he does also like it when you call him daddy. The first time you called him that, he halted his movements and looked at you, eyebrow raised and a (surprised) grin tugging on his lips.

His file was classified and his documents were blacked, only a few filler words could be seen. Rye was infamous in this line of work. Well, mostly under the name of Akai Shuichi, but the point stood regardless.

Access to his file was hard to get, but you didn't even need it (though you had gotten a quick glance at it before). You knew him very well already. Well enough, actually, to recognise certain mannerisms in a man that often appeared alongside your target. The first day you saw him, you spent your night researching a certain "Subaru Okiya". He was an attractive young man and his professors - while he did not attend all lectures (though they had assured you that this was very normal) - described him as kind, considerate and knowledgeable. You didn't doubt that, however, his grades where just a little too good for his attendance, his image a little bit too perfect for a mere university student barely to be fiund on campus.

Now, you were not one to slack off. So, after quenching your initial curiosity, you turned back to the task at hand. Acquiring a certain...something from the Mōri hausehold.

And that is how you got here, looking through a room with neatly stacked papers on an organised desk, a bed with rose-coloured sheets and plushies perched on it and lastly the karate uniform hung against the mirror of a wardrobe.

You only had a few minutes. You could basically see them rushing through the streets and chuckled at the thought. That detective boy was far more obvious than he thought.

You found the hard drive nestled into one of the plushies - one that had no doubt been won on a fair once. Carefully, as not to rip the fabric, you peeled out the object - just in time it seemed. You opened the window the moment the entrance gate was unlocked and landed on the ground as you heard them wrench open the bedroom door.

You could see him out of the corner of your eye, fighting his way through the masses of workworn employers on their way home, but you payed him no mind. Quickly, you turned to the left and hurried to get into the evening rush.

He managed to follow you for quite some time, you gave him that. It seemed he was known as talented and infamous for a reason.

But, so were you. After ten minutes he had lost your trail, however, you had already decided to let him see you again soon enough. Who would have guessed enrolling into University would be so enticing?

Thinking of getting together with older bf!Akai, but knowing he's not looking to settle down and have children with you. And so you are fine when he only responds with a kiss to your "I love you", and you're happy with just indulging in the way he makes you feel. (You two sitting together on the bed. His arm lazily thrown over your shoulder while you read and he works. His fingertips tracing your spine so gently you doze away far too soon. A soft kiss pressed to the crown of your head before taking the book out of your hands and closing his laptop to draw you into his arms and finally fall asleep.)

You don't need all the money he sends you when he's away for work, so you put some of it into your savings account. Already with the rest you don't have to work 10, let alone 20 hours per week anymore. You can completely focus on studying and internships - gaining experience to build up your future. You're using all the tools at your disposal to prepare as much as possible, so you can stand on your own two feet when the time comes.

But it doesn't. And really, how are you surprised about that? When he sees that cute, shy girl grow into a woman evidently able to handle life by herself - still cute and shy but...matured, somehow - something changes in him.

You're standing your ground, breaking up with him, knowing this phase of your life is over. It hits him unexpectedly, the growth you've gone through without him even noticing. Or maybe he had underestimated your strength from the start.

This time he says it first, revelling in your heated skin and widened eyes as he leans down for a kiss.

A proud grin plays on his lips. You may not need him, but you're still his sweet little girl after all.

And yessss. Akai would literally sometimes drive to the side of the road and pull you into his lap to make out with you. (Especially in the beginning of the relationship he partially pulled over for a smoke break, but nowadays he also does it when he realises you're getting fussy and need some attention after a long mission of his).

Furuya does it less often, but sometimes, maybe after a long day, he loves to just have you on his lap and kiss you a bit, until he feels energised enough to drive you both home (where he'll place you on the kitchen counter and kiss you some more)

Both also think it's really cute when you sneak kisses to their jaw or cheek as they are driving. Akai adores it when you quickly grab his jaw and turn his head to give him a sweet little kiss on his mouth when you're waiting for a light to turn green.

Ugh, periods are the worst! And this is definitely not silly, dw! Before I took iron supplements during my period, I'd always faint on the first day 😭 I hope you're feeling better already, lots of love 💕

Furuya is very big on taking care of you - even more so if you're on your period. The first time, as he didn't know how well your body dealt with that time of the month yet, he had prepared a relaxing day for you, having brought some healthy but delicious snacks to help your body through it all. He was glad he did that, as your state was worse than he had expected - but at least he was prepared. Nowadays, he makes sure to take off as much time as he can on at least the first day to help you out. He likes having you lay on his lap - all cuddled up in blankets and heating pads pressing against your aching body. Also enjoys taking care of domestic stuff: he likes to help you wash, do your skin/hair routine etc. for you. Has also read into what foods your body may need/what foods help against your symptoms.

Akai was fully unprepared the first time, or rather, he didn't really think about it. But he's quick-witted and he gives the best massages. He carries you everywhere (remember, as a sniper he's very strong), but unlike Furuya who is worried the entire time, Shuichi loves to coo at you and make fun of you (though not in an asshole way, don't worry). Snorts when you laugh really hard, only for it to be interrupted by a shriek of pain because of a cramp. His hands find their way to your tummy immediately though and his hands are so comfortable and warm on it they ease pain so nicely. And again: his massages are godly. Your entire body will be so relaxed afterwards and you'll fall asleep right then and there. He's sure you'll feel better when you wake up again. Until then, he'll keep you on his lap while he reads up on a case 💕

I think, if Akai's spouse can't really help with missions (incl. planning/strategising etc), he'll be really happy to include them otherwise. Be it them just sitting next to him doing their own thing (sometimes, he'll pat their head/ruffle their hair as he's working) or them bringing over a tray of food and drinks. He'll always draw them into his side to place a soft kiss to their temple when he's talking with someone and he can't thank them properly 🥺 (e.g. fbi and the kudō's).

Furuya obv appreciates it too, but he should be the one doing that, so just sit down and let him spoil you 💕 Though when he's extra stressed he's so thankful for your care. Whenever he takes his (minimal) breaks, he either kisses your cheek tiredly or hides his face in your shoulder and holds you against him - gently, because he doesn't have the energy for more.
