Gallagher had his full attention on Kaveh, his own drink sitting untouched as well. He let Kaveh’s words hang in the air for a few moments- by all account it was likely seconds, but it felt like an eternity.

“Yeah. I know you’re not a native. Because I am. You think I don’t know everyone who actually lives here?” Even if not personally, he could probably name anyone on-sight.

“I travelled the galaxy when I was younger. I was looking for somethin’, too.” A shrug as he finally turned to his drink.

“Never did. Hope you do.”

Roxy had a tendency to tag after him when they were at the same lecture, whether he was the speaker at it or not. In this case, they'd ended up sitting together, or rather, she'd come in after him, saw he had a free seat beside him and helped herself.

As they walked, he was talking about the subject they'd just heard about (robotics, and the speaker was painfully behind Ratio's own research). Something he'd said made Roxy stop, and a few steps later, he noticed and turned back.

And then her lips were on his. He stood there for the couple seconds the kiss lasted. And then, "Did that satisfy whatever idle curiosity you had?"

Just as he'd promised, he brought Navia along the next time he traveled to the area the Hydro vishaps were roaming. It was after a trial, so though he probably should have returned to the Court of Fontaine to take care of the loose ends of the case, he preferred to take some time to relax. He'd only been told to do so by several people pretty much every time he finished a trial lately.

"As I said, the original Hydro sovereign was a vishap. So though I may be human now, they're the closest thing I have to family." He paused as they walked, seeing one of the vishaps over the hill. As they approached, he took off his gloves; probably the first time Navia had seen him anything but completely covered. His hands had a blue tinge to them.

The vishaps crowded around as soon as they saw him, and he reached out, just resting a hand on one of their heads. They were acting more like puppies than the 'vicious monsters' a lot of people thought of them as.

He turned to Navia to say something else, when she leaned right into him, pressing her lips to his. He stood there, looking stunned, for a moment. And then he leaned closer as well, an instinct to return the kiss taking over for another few moments.

"...and what was that for?"

He was just stepping out of the shop when Eros approached him. He blinked once at the kiss.

“You’re welcome,” he said after a moment. “You don’t really need to thank me, though. We just like helping around the neighborhood.” That was one way to put it, anyway.

He could smell the food before he even opened the door, and they'd had a good meal together. Even for Natalee's usual cooking it was special, and when she told him to wait while she went to get something, he was expecting some sort of present.

A grin tugged at his lips as she slipped back on his lap, wearing nothing but a skimpy set of lingerie.

Despite being the one who offered, Tempera hadn't actually made any effort to seek Evie out again. Of course it was hard to avoid each other in such a small space short of one or both staying in their rooms the entire time. And every time over the next day Evie saw him, she seemed to be trying to beam her thoughts into his mind. Which he happily ignored.

"Goodnight, Cady," Tempera said as Cadenza went to her room. Just as the door shut behind her, Evie left her own room, looking at him. "Good evening, Evelyn. Did you need something? I just finished having dinner with my sister; the rest of my evening is free."

There was a beat where Tempera almost thought she was going to turn back down the hall to her room. At least until the woman tugged on his long sleeve, and Tempera found himself pressed into the wall and Evie's lips on his.

He easily took control, pushing her just a little so he wasn't pressed against the wall as he returned the kiss. When she broke it off first, he rose his eyebrows. "Is that all?"

It was far from the first time he and Roxy had sparred when she visited. Others might say it wasn't "appropriate" but it wasn't as if Roxy was a regular visitor, anyway. She'd probably be bored out of her skull if Ayato attempted to bring her along on his usual day.

She was nowhere near as physically strong as he was, but her speed and finesse gave him a run for his money. This time, after what was probably several minutes, she'd finally managed to knock him off his feet.

A chuckle left his lips as he looked up at her. She'd followed him to the ground, pinning him down.
