#today was a good day. alhamdullilah#I went to Maastricht alone bc I’ve never been. and isk why but I had this idea that Maastricht would be a boring city 😠I couldn’t have#been more wrong . it’s one of the oldest Dutch cities and has quite a lot of (international) students so I should have known better#anyway I got this bagel w hummus for lunch and it was soooo good. im def going back just for that bagel lol#okay so the original plan was to go to Maastricht alone. then yesterday I saw a friend at uni and she suggested going to Amsterdam together#so I agree but today she said she didn’t wanna go anymore so I went to Maastricht anyway#I had lunch and then went to a park to sit down and read my book for uni#wish I had taken my laptop or notebook with me but I thought I’d be walking around w my friend so didn’t wanna carry all that#sitting at the park was so nice. there were very few people so it was peaceful. I heard water running and birds chirping and the wind#through the trees and it felt like I was in a movie#I’m so loving these alone days in cities I’ve never been#gonna try to go to as many as I can. which won’t be a lot cuz I am interning 4 days a week but I wanna use my privilege of free public#transport until I graduate#jrnl
