Finished another Okami 100% run (this time I wanted to see if I could get all the achievements without NG+), jumped the gun running into Third Devil Gate Trial my beloathed without consumables because I needed to save yen and only just realised that doing a perfect block with the reflector will earn you back a full unit of health every time and not just the occasional counterattack...

I've been playing this game since 2006. 😔

What do you MEAN that was the end of Dan Da Dan Season 1?!

That fucking CLIFFHANGER?! I AM GOING TO IMPLODE! O.<

I JUST managed to get Volume 1 after I bought volume 2 (my local manga joint sold put of Volume 1 the fay they came in), so I guess I can work on collecting volumes, and just not read ahead of the show (even though I am doing that with Kaiju No. 8...) but... TEN EPISODES for a SEASON?! This is almost Netflix level bullshit (except they release weekly, like episodic shows should). Hell, still waiting on Kaiju No. 8, the first season was only partway into volume 6, I think?

I just hope the wait isn't too long...

Okami Sequel Announced, Hideki Kamiya Returns as Director

At The Game Awards 2024, Capcom announced that a sequel to Okami is in development. The game is co-developed between studios which include staff who worked on the first game. The studios involved are M-TWO, Machine Head Works, and CLOVERS. Hideki Kamiya, the director of the first game back in 2006 and member of CLOVERS, returns to direct the sequel.
