ok so my new working theory is that hater and monkeyboy were planet of the apes type guys who got stuck together for space missions and hater is obviously the weak link. so he gets both of them killed in some way and likeee if monkeyboy is the "superego" moral compass character who isn't technically a villain but is an antagonist... maybe he's trying specifically to hurt lord hater. and make him miserable the way he made monkeyboy miserable ANYWAY
