#ok unrelated side note: I might tweak my headcanon for Seymour’s sexual/romantic preference a bit

I saw our latest reblog about ships (the one about nightmares & falling asleep into their partner's arms) and I must ask what about the other ships or at least some of them and give a explanation unless that is spoilers for your au?

So a lot of bullshit happens to basically everyone in this au, so everyone will have to deal with “nightmares” and stress, but here’s a few specific cases (spoiler alert, they’re all mostly Seymour ships)

Wheel of fortune (Seymour x Beau)

These two in particular have been dragged through the mud in this au. They are both very very tired, and once all the drama is settled and they finally get back together, they are both understandable tense and stressed. However, over time, they realize that for once in their lives, they are finally allowed to completely relax around one another. They are much more physically clingy, and often cuddle and snuggle in their down time because ✨touch starved✨

Tv-PSA (Seymour x Coach)

Before the drama with Beau settled, for the longest time the Coach was the only source of comfort for Seymour. That, paired with the fact the Coach’s life is slowly falling apart, makes the both of them stressed and busy almost 24/7. This scenario is a bit different, because both of them find themselves having episodes of Insomnia. They usually decide to stick together, sitting with each other on the couch, and and acknowledging the fact they might have to unwillingly pull an all nighter. They find comfort in each other’s presence, and end up getting relaxed enough to crash and finally get some sleep together.

Backup Dancer (Seymour + Leslie)

LAST SEYMOUR SHIP I PROMISE.

This one is a bit weird, because I don’t really ship these two romantically. The best way I can describe them is incredibly comfortable friends/friends with benefits, maybe even bordering on a Queerplatonic relationship. They bond through the fact they are both very burnt out and feel stuck in their current lives. They aren’t big cuddlers with eachother, but in moments where they’ve had a rough day/week, they might get more physically affectionate.

Invisible Hand (BLHG x Invisibill)

These two are kinda struggling with staying a float in villain society. That, paired with Invisibill’s trauma, made it so that these two scheduled their weeks where pretty much every other day besides weekends are work days. On those off days, they let themselves relax and do nothing, and Invisibill is a very cuddly guy.

PB&Wham (Chuck x Whammer)

Kinda the same vibe as BLHG and Invisibill. However, the “nightmares” for these two are different. Yes, they’ve got issues, but it only gets really bad for them after the return of Miss Power (basically the part in my AU where things get chaotic af). After all that, plus some extra drama revolving around these two struggling to decide on what their relationships, gives them a lot of opportunities to wind down and just quietly cuddle (especially because Whammer is very snuggly)
