A lil group portrait of the time au adventuring gang!! Them <333

Basically tol fucked up as a kid and is now on the run from the law, but realized that since his life was so crazy he could live off of telling stories of his wacky adventures. When he met Jay he wanted him to come with him, and when he found out jay couldn't come cus he was virtually a demon/god/magic magnet he decided he NEEDED to bring him to capitalize on how it'd make more cool stories. And yeah it worked so since then he's been collecting wackos to aaa go crazy aaaa go stupid (and also bcus safety I numbers or whateva, pop and pip are also criminals and pastel and jay are crimes against god <3) more about each individual under the cut!

Doin them from left to right :)

Pastel: died when she was messing around with some friends and got stuck under a big rock and left to starve. But because of a fluke in the underworld her God decided to resurrect her, a right usually only belonging to saints. Because of this she's now poorly pretending that she totally did something to deserve being revived (she tells a different story every time someone asks, she thinks it's funny) to avoid being persecuted for suspected witchcraft. She met Jay when they were both drunk and they had fun fucking around in the city, and she spilled the beans to him that she was revived for no reason. She regretted it, but jay didn't kill her because even though he's religious he knew what it felt like to be magically cursed and have everyone be pissed at u for it. Also she's really funny with jay so tol begged her to come with them to add more Comedy(tm) to his memoirs

Pop: a time traveller and angel who is trying to hide both of those facts but only really succeeding at hiding the time travel thing. When they were a kid they traveled to this time with his friends Lustre and Cherrybomb, but when they were attacked by the vicious royal guard they weren't able to escape without leaving Lustre behind. Cherrybomb super repressed that memory, and while pop recovered from some minor injuries they vowed to never time travel again. Yeah they only kept that up until they were like 15, but they still couldn't bring themself to go back to when they left Lustre. But now they're 26 (well technically they're like 33 but in their time their supposed to be 26) living with their boyfriend cherrybomb and have years of time travel experience under their belt, and they're ready to go back. Except they can't go back because they created a travel block for themself by accident because of how upsetting the event was, so instead they traveled as close as they could, about 10 years in the future of the time. Now they search for any form of closure, all they need to know is what happened to their friend, and they will do whatever it takes to find this out. But angels aren't super welcome in the past, especially not with uncut wings, so it's not exactly easy for them to navigate this time period. But after a while of their search they met two lovely children (well young adults), a demon and a "cursed" (nowadays they call em spiritually gifted) and felt so bad for how much the world seemed to be against them they decided they could travel with them, just for a bit, to protect them. They tried not to get attached. They failed. They're in it for the long run now aren't they TwT also as they explore this time and learn more about the gods, they start to realize that they might... be the God of longevity???? Or at least an older version of them became them? Time travel is fucked man

Btw Lustre plays a big role in this plot, her hyper futuristic knowledge, 'blessed' white eyes, and strange God gifted clothing would all lead to him rising to a much different role than fugitive rather quickly, but they're not who this post is about ;) also I'm gonna go bottom to top for the 3 in the middle let's go

Lune: just a little guy :) lune is a young rancher/gardener who worships the God of the wood, who kind of goes missing sometimes and is lowkey the least loyal God but shhhh he loves them. Lune and tol were childhood friends (along with their pal cleo) but on one of their little excursions tol took something very important to a very powerful king, and refused to give it back. As retribution the king destroyed their entire town, and cleo put all the blame on tol, tol and lune both knew lune had to take the side against tol in order to not have the town turn on him. So yeah he moved with the town to bring up a brand new farm, long awaiting the day when tol would come home and say that things were OK and they could settle back in town together, hopefully with cleo too. That didn't happen, but tol did come back and peer pressure lune into part time adventuring with him! So yeah generally lune just runs his lil farm and prays, but when tol comes to pick him up he gets a chance to go be free to act batshit crazy, just like when he was a kid 🥰

Pipes: DEmon! One time lune and tol had a little squabble so lune was like 'im gonna get a new best friend and ur gonna regret this' and tol was like 'yeah right, u live with a bunch of criminals right now no one's gonna wanna be ur bestie dumbass' so lune just walked into a cave at night and dragged out this little nonverbal demon because demons who live alone in caves don't have high standards for friends. Even tho it was just a ploy to make tol jealous lune went super hard on it and now pipes is actually friends with the gang lmaoo

Tol: like I said with lunes, stole something important from a king as a kid, monarch got pissed, blew up the town, town got pissed at tol for it, and since then he's been on the run because he's too stubborn to give back the damn thing (they could have just attacked HIM for it, but since la queen decided to fuck with his town, his family, tol thinks he doesn't deserve to have it back.) He had to run from town to town and got into a lot of danger in his attempts at finding places to hide, but he lacks fear and tended to fight stuff off. As a kid he found that he could get enough pity to be welcomed into towns if he told people he had to fight a monster to get there, so he told stories at every town and camp he went to of his hardships. But as he got older, those he stayed with beckoned him to keep talking, and more and more people said they had heard of his adventures. And that's when when it clicked, his shining ticket to true freedom wasn't a place, it was his stories. They gave him food, shelter, fun, memories, a life. So he made it his mission to never settle down, to make his life as crazy as possible and to talk about it as much as possible, and if he ever ran out of energy to adventure, he'd spend the rest of his dying days writing and writing his entire life story. He thought this was a life he'd live alone, but one day he sought refuge in jays little lonely house because he thought it was abonded, luckily though Jay had just been praying for a second chance at life and decided that considering the timing, tol must be that second chance. So yeah jay patched him up, found out on his monthly supply route he was harboring someone very wanted, and took care of tol even harder because he didn't know or care why he was wanted, he just knew that anyone who had a drawing of them as a child on a wanted poster definitely didn't deserve it. So yeah they're besties now.

AAA I wrote out a really long description for jay but tumblr glitched and I lost it :'O ble here's a shorter rewrite cus I'm not writing out that whole thing again >:P

Jay: brought up in a church village,, he was born with the curse, which allows him to tap into magical properties very easily, and be very easily controlled, manipulated, and possessed by them. This allowed him to be very connected with his god (the god of longevity) but also meant he was often treated as a security risk and a monster by the adults of his town since he could let in evil spirits so easily. He spent most of his time praying and he became obsessed with acting on compulsions (repeated prayer, overscrubbing, scratching himself, touching religious things until he felt like he touched them "right") because he believed they were messages from God and would prevent him from becoming evil (look he was a teenager and everyone told him he was a monster his whole life leave him be.) He gets possessed twice, mage as a rep of the town is like "either have ur cursed removed or leave town forever" (uncursing is only hypothetically possible, it's hella dangerous) and he's scared itd sever his connection to his god so he leaves and he's upset bcus his entire life plan was built around his church, so now he's livin alone on a hill and leaving like once a month, he stays up there and sews and prays mostly, he sort of works on himself and becomes vaguely mentally stable, so he prays for a second chance at life since he lost his original path and needs a sign where to go, and then boom tol shows up and the rest is history. Now he has his own little family and things are going great :) other than the still getting possessed like once a week but shhhh

Pip: in between the entrance to hell and the religious central of the continent is a little town that sides with neither. They mostly fuck around and find out, and in this town lives a monster researcher and her less formal wife, pip! Pip is just a silly goofy little guy livin life, and when the crazy bunch shows up she feels like he's finally found her people :3 and for the first time the group gains a member who's begging to join them as opposed to the other way around

Ya and together they all go on wacky lil adventures with demons and monsters and monarchs and what not.

Tldr pastel is a funny lil dead guy, pop is a time traveller and the Adult of the team, lunes a lil farmer man, pipes a hobo demon they picked up off the side of the road, tols a little criminal demon adventurer, jays a religious weirdo who tol dragged out of his hermit hut, and pips an insane little guy

Thor hadn’t had a phone for terribly long. He still had a lot to figure out, but over time he’d learned one thing for sure: late night texts from Tony were almost never a good thing.

[Tony]: Hey

[Tony]: Bad news

What a surprise.

[Thor]: What is it this time?

[Tony]: Bruce

Immediately, he felt his heart stop. Thor’s typically slow thumbs were a blur as he tapped out a message.

[Thor]: What happened? Is he ok?

[Tony]: Not…really

[Thor]: What does that mean?

[Tony]: He’s stuck

[Thor]: Stuck?

[Tony]: Yep

[Thor]: In what?

[Tony]: He’s stuck mid transformation between the hulk and himself

[Tony]: Like, kinda big kinda green, very distressed, and I think he and the hulk are sharing a mind? Idk he keeps yelling at himself every now and then

Thor honestly didn’t know what to say. He didn’t know Bruce could get stuck like that, but it sounded awful. He took a moment to figure out what he wanted to ask next.

[Thor]: Does he seem hurt? Physically?

[Tony]: No clue, its kinda hard to tell

[Thor]: I’m coming over.

[Tony]: Figured you would. On floor 14

[Thor]: Please keep watch over him while I’m on my way.

[Tony]: No I think Im just gonna go make myself a margarita while my best friend is tearing his own existence apart in ways we didnt even know where possible beforehand

[Tony]: Of course Ill watch him

Thor didn’t waste time replying to Tony’s trademark sarcasm. Within mere minutes, he was over at Stark Tower, standing in the freezing rain and harsh gusts of wind that were probably brought on by his own stress. The door opened for him and he slipped inside, making a beeline for the elevator. Thor rode all the way up to the fourteenth floor, trying to catch his breath. Before he even got out of the elevator, he could tell that there was a strange sort of tension in the air.

When he stepped out, Bruce was nowhere to be found. Tony was rubbing his temple, as if he had a headache. Thor neared him, his eyes darting around the lab.

“Where is he?”

“Asleep. Finally.”

“Asleep?”

“He eventually passed out. Over-exhaustion, probably.”

“Okay,” he nodded, pausing. “Is he okay, though?”

“I…don’t know.”

Thor sighed and looked up towards the ceiling, then back at Tony. “So, he’s both? Him and the Hulk? At the same time?”

“Basically,” he nodded. “As far as I can tell, anyways.”

“Gods, that must be awful for…for both of them, I guess.”

“I can’t imagine how shitty he must feel.”

“Tell me where he is.”

“We’ve got a hangout on this floor. It’s like…a makeshift bedroom, I guess. We spend so much time in here we figured we might as well have, like, a napping area,” he explained. “It’s a little room down the hall. Right side.”

Thor gave a sharp nod and hurried towards the door.

“Hey, be careful, okay?” Tony called after him.

“Of course I will be!”

Just like Tony said, the room was like the beginnings of a proper bedroom. There was a small bookshelf to one side, a few soft, yellow lights scattered about, and in the corner, a massive collection of pillows and duvets. There might have been a mattress beneath it, but it was hard to tell. Especially with the person curled up on top of it all.

All along his arms were patches of what looked like rashes, only a muddy green color. His veins bulged along his arms and neck. He was definitely taller than he should have been, and more built and muscular, too. Bruce (Hulk?) himself seemed more like he was knocked out rather than peacefully asleep. His dark eyebrows were furrowed in what seemed like distress or frustration, and he would twitch every now and then. Thor knelt beside him and ran a finger along one of the several tears in his tightened shirt.

“Hello, dear,” he whispered.

The being before him grumbled something incomprehensible. Then, his eyes snapped open. Thor took his hand back and watched intently.

“Bruce?” he asked carefully.

“Y-Yes,” he whispered, then smacked the side of his head. “No!”

Thor’s brow furrowed in concern. “Hey…”

“No! No Banner.” He shook his head frantically. A pained expression crossed his face. “Banner…sorry. I-I’m sorry…he’s…”

“Look at me,” he whispered, cupping his cheek. Thor pulled him into a gentle kiss, delicately playing with his hair. He pulled away and took a shaky breath. Thor frowned slightly and took his hands.

“Look at me, darling,” he whispered again. Bruce was hesitant to meet his eyes, but when they met each other, Thor gave him a warm smile.

“I just wanted to say I love you. So, so much.”

He nodded slowly. “L…love you…too.”

“Mhm.”

“Who…am I?” he whispered suddenly. Thor paused.

“I don’t know.”

“You don’t?”

He shook his head. “I mean…you aren’t exactly Hulk, but…but you aren’t fully Bruce either…”

“What am I?” The fear in his voice was more evident than before.

“I don’t know, my love,” he said apologetically. “Do you feel more like one of them than the other?”

After a moment of thought, he replied. “Bruce.”

“Are you sure?”

“…No. But…but I think I’m him…”

“Okay,” he said softly. “Then we’ll get you back to being your old self.”

“Promise?”

“I promise.” Thor gave him a smile. “How are you feeling?”

“Hurts…” Bruce sniffled.

“I’m so sorry, my love,” he whispered, looking over his trembling muscles. “Just…focus on me. Everything’s going to be okay.”

“Gonna be okay…” he repeated, squeezing his eyes shut. “Th–Thor…”

“Yes, dear?”

“He’s…I don’t want…” Bruce swallowed. “Make it stop…”

“I’m not sure how,” he admitted. “Try to…um, maybe think about things that help you relax?”

“Hugs,” he said quickly. “Hug me…”

Thor nodded and wrapped his arms around him. It was odd, since he was used to hugging a much smaller Bruce. The way he was now, their heights were just about matched. Nevertheless, Thor just pretended like it was a normal night. Just cuddling his boyfriend in bed, and nothing more.

“How’s this?” he murmured, rubbing his thumb against a rough patch of skin.

“Yes,” was all Bruce replied. Thor pressed a kiss just below his ear and hummed softly. It was an old Asgardian lullaby he remembered his mother singing to him as a child. Thor wasn’t the best singer, by any means, but he hoped it was calming.

Apparently it was, since he started to feel Bruce start to shrink in his arms. He whimpered as he curled in on himself, his body still shaking and jerking.

“Hush, hush, you’re alright, I’m here…” Thor whispered. Bruce took deep breaths. Everything had stopped. Thor looked down at him, trying to determine if he was fully back yet. The shirt he wore, while still ripped, seemed to fit him once more, and his skin was back to its usual color.

“Bruce?” he asked.

“Yeah…” Bruce turned to look at Thor. Tears streaked his face, but the look in his eyes was relief. He rolled over and hugged Thor tight.

“Fuck…fuck. Okay. I’m okay, I’m okay,” he rambled to himself. “It’s fine…”

Thor himself let out a sigh, happy that Bruce had come back to himself. “There. See? I told you we’d get you back.”

“That was…fuck.”

“Is everything alright, now?”

“Since you’re here,” he nodded.

“What was that?”

“I don’t know,” Bruce shook his head. “I don’t know and I hope I never experience it again.”

“Hopefully you never will.” Thor stroked his curls.

“Yeah…shit. Yeah.” Bruce glanced up at him. “Thank you…”

“Don’t thank me. I just want you safe and happy.”

Bruce smiled faintly. “I love you. So much, more than I could ever tell you. I’m…shit with words. You know that.”

“I do. But I love it.” Thor grinned. “It makes you yourself.”

“See? I can’t do that,” he laughed softly. “Articulate words and all that…”

“Then just kiss me,” Thor mumbled.

Bruce did.

Being a writer meant everything to you, you always had a passion for speaking as much truth in your stories as you did in reality. You went to conventions year after year to vlog, you wrote reviews and always managed to pick up several collectables and more souveniers every time.

This time upon entering the convention you spilled your bag all over the ground… thank god it hadn’t gotten super super busy in there yet, but something else happened. The heat in your core lit up in 2 seconds of a set of strong hands handing you your camera.

Jensen: “are you okay miss?”

You reached up looking as you did, your eyes meeting his as both of you just stood there starring at eachother… your brain was processing, your brain was screaming at you, your mind analyzing the fact there was an ALPHA right in front of you, there was your alpha right in front of you.

Jensen: “OMEGA.”

You could only pant, your heat wasn’t due for another 3 weeks… but it sure as hell came early…

Y/N: “ALPHA.”

At that moment you absent mindedly stuck your camera in your bag not bothering to take your eyes off of him. Neither of you realized that 2 other alpha’s had come up behind him… but you guys could hear their conversation.

Jared: “OMG Jay found his OMEGA…”

Misha: “from the scent of it they are heavily shocked right now…”

Jared: “ya but now they are stuck in Jay’s rut and her heat.”

Misha: “so what do we do, the panel is about to start…”

Jared: “from the looks of it she is apart of the press… her bag split open, she will need a new one but more importantly we need to get them out of public eye before anything bad occurs…”

Jared and Misha approached both you and Jensen but a low snarl ripped from Jensen’s throat when they got too close…

Jensen: “back off guys, this is my omega…”

Jared: “the public is gonna start rolling in soon, why don’t we move to a back room and we can talk about this..”

Jensen let out a low growl and you whimpered, upon realizing that you were scared he pulled out his wallet and handed some money for a new bag to the nearest shop he could find… handing the new bag and your broken one with your stuff still in it to Jared you clung tight to Jensen as you guys made your way to the back room… the door was shut as Jensen pulled you to sit on his lap on the couch…

Jensen: “Omega…”

He says as he breathe deeply moving your hair away from your neck making you moan.

Jared: “dude you can have sex, mark her, claim her or do whatever you what when the panel is done…”

Jensen growled at Jared making you quiver in fear, Jensen then went back to nuzzling his face deep in your hair…

Jared: “so does this omega have a name?”

You nodded and smiled lightly making the lightest moan ever…

Y/N: “Y/N… my name is Y/N…”

You said with a shrill gasp of air as Jensen was now fluttering kisses across your neck…

Jensen: “is there a way that I won’t have to part with my sweet omega for the panel.”

At that moment there was a knock at the door, Richard came through the door and gasped at the sight of Jensen kissing your neck and your shrill moans of pleasure. Jared took Richard aside and watched Richard’s exprssions turn all over the place…

Richard: “okay what the hell is happening over there?”

Jared: “Jensen found his Omega… they have been like that for an hour and a half now…”

Richard: “so there is a really good chance that they will be smashing after the panel…”

Jared nodded and sighed…

Jared: “as long as he knows what he is getting into…”

Richard: “I have an idea but its gonna take some time which I think I can buy… but you need to get them out of honeymoon central now…”

Jared and Richard walked back into the other room and Jared let out a growl that made Jensen snap his head towards Jared…

Jared: “that’s not your omega yet… she hasn’t been claimed and the scent of her heat his driving me wild…”

Misha catching on to what was happening joined in…

Misha: “same for me Jensen… so what will it be fight us for one omega or pull your head out of your ass and wing it like normal…”

Jensen moved the hair away from your shoulder and slid down your tank top strap and bit into your neck marking you. You squirmed a little but then let the bliss and passion sweep over you, it lasted 5 minutes it stung and your eyes shut on their own, your body shivering as Jensen pulled away from you.

Jared: “what the hell just happened…”

Misha: “OMG…”

Richard: “Jensen claimed her…”

Jensen and you look at the surrounding faces confused as fuck…

Jensen: “what are you guys starring at?”

Jared: “you did it dude…”

Jensen: “did what im a little fuzzy…”

You felt your neck and pulled it back feeling something sticky…

Y/N: “I think you claimed me…”

Jensen: “someone explain please… we don’t remember anything…”

Y/N: “I remember my bag falling apart, I remember dropping my camera… then nothing…”

Jensen: “I remember picking up this camera and then nothing…”

Misha: “I believe that was when you both realized that you belonged to eachother…”

Jensen looks at you as you do him making a smile appear on your face… Jensen wraps his arms around your waist…

Jensen: “ok so how long till the panel?”

Richard: “like 5 minutes but I have a plan if you don’t want to be apart from your claimed Omega…”

Jensen kissed your cheek as he turned his attention to Richard…

Jensen: “I really don’t how bout you my sweet Omega?”

Y/N: “I never want to leave your side my handsome Alpha…”

Richard: “ok so here’s the plan Jensen you will enter the panel last only cause ill introduce you and Y/N at the same time… and don’t worry if anything goes wrong well let’s just say no one will be too thrilled about it…”

Jensen: “ill make sure im ready to go up with my beautiful Y/N, but first we need to clean up the blood…”

Y/N: “is there a towel or a wipe or something…”

Misha: “there is a bathroom down the hall but I don’t…”

Jensen looked at you for a moment as if telling you that you were allowed to go and get cleaned up… you smiled lightly getting off his lap and starting for the door…

Jensen: “ill wait by the door for you to come back to me…”

Y/N: “you wont have to wait too long…”

Jensen only smiled his green eyes starring at you with a golden tint shimmering cross them, you scampered off to the washroom where you removed your tank top to make it easier to clean all the blood off…

You grabbed your phone to take a photo of your mark… you couldn’t believe it, neither would anyone else… you were gonna text this to the one person who might actually care enough to keep you happy…

You sent the photo and waited 2 seconds before your phone started ringing…

Y/N: “yes Y/F/N…”

Y/F/N: “what the hell girl… I don’t even hear from you for a week and all of the sudden you decide it’s a good time to text me a photo of your claimed mark…”

You sighed looking at the mark as you cleaned off all the blood…

Y/N: “hey I’m sorry okay but I knew the photo would raise one particular question in your mind and I didn’t want to text you the answer to it cause I wanted you to hear it from my lips…”

Y/F/N: “okay spill who claimed you… seriously tell me he is hot?”

You breathed in deeply as your fingers slid over your mark…

Y/N: “its Jensen…”

You could hear Y/F/N screaming at the top of her lungs…

Y/F/N: “DO YOU MEAN JENSEN FUCKING ACKLES???”

You knew you had to answer almost immediately…

Y/N: “the one and only…”

Y/F/N: “well I guess that is ok… but wait the panel isn’t it…”

Y/N: “just be ready to watch it live girl… its gonna be one hell of a show…”

Y/F/N: “don’t worry I’ll be watching every moment of it… I’ll even record it so you can finish your expose for the review… I do have one random question tho, what the hell are you wearing for an outfit?”

You could only smile knowing that she was just looking out for yout wellbeing, well that and the status of your wardrobe…

Y/N: “my fuschia tank top and short jean shorts…”

Y/F/N: “good so at least you looked hot for that first meeting… so how was it…”

You could only smile more as you threw the paper towels in the garbage and dried off your shoulder…

Y/N: “I promise ill update you on everything when I make it back home… hopefully it will be with Jensen but that’s just so you can meet the man responsible for my happiness… oh and just be mindful that I won’t be able to text you back during the duration of the panel.”

You said as you put your tank top back on…

Y/F/N: “I know just be mindful of what you are doing?”

You sighed knowing that she was right…

Y/N: “I know just be prepared for a possible hometown visit very very soon…”

Y/F/N: “I always look forward to you coming home… love you…”

Y/n: “love you too girl…”

You hung up the phone and once more running your fingers over the scar, your heat settling down enough that you were comfortable. There was a peace over you, your fingers tracing the bite mark, your thoughts drifting to Jensen’s face burying in your hair as you sat in his lap.

That was the moment when you walked out of the bathroom without a care in the world, you walked into the room where the guys were waiting for you. Jensen upon seeing you came over to you and spun you around to hold onto you from behind as the guys talked about what the schedule was gonna be like…

Richard: “so now that most of us are on the same page but Y/N I need you to stay as close to Jensen as possible… when we bring you both out you will be singing with Jensen… you will sit beside Jensen, Jay will also explain this to the world… you will introduce yourself to the world… if anything goes wrong we pull you and Jay out of there… I will also be up there but for the first little bit its you, Jay, Jared and Misha. Do you have any questions or anything so far?”

You shoke your head leaning into Jensen’s embrace, the feeling of his lips on your neck just left you in a state of happiness…

Well we just lost the challenge. Not that I'm surprised, we pretty much lost it when we didn't communicate for a whole day. I tried to do my part and get people discussing but once it was clear this wasn't gonna be a win for us, I just used it for strategy. I wanted to do my best despite the circumstances to prove that this tribe needs me since I'm active and good in challenges. And I think it worked! The judges shouted me out twice for my part in the video (even tho it kinda sucked, but I guess my white boy dancing was good in comparison). But anyways, I do like this tribe and I'm sad we lost, but I have a little theory on why some people didn't try so hard. It was discussed before the challenge even came out that we wanted Jacob out. How this happened was Nathan approached me as soon as we got onto the new tribe and we called and had a good talk on how we felt about the game. Turns out that the queen herself, Jessie Flynn, advocated for me as an ally to Nathan before we even swapped. And us both, and Jessie, all felt good about Cindi too. And ever since then, Nathan's been in my DMs talking about voting for Jacob. So overall I think I landed myself in a pretty sweet spot on this disaster of a tribe and hopefully we can get our shit together for the next challenge, cause things won't be so clear cut next time.

WE WON. THANK *GOD.* after flying across the country yesterday and dealing with several minor life crises, i literally spent the ENTIRETY of today working on that video - meaning from when i woke up at 10 to fifteen minutes before when it was due - and also spent seven whole dollars at the dollar tree for props & costumes soooooo if we had not won i would've been quite embarrassed. i was nervous about the editing part, as i've not ever actually put together a music video challenge, just weird silly videos like me as zac efron.... but it turned out okay! i'm not 100% satisfied with my work (i wanted to put more transition effects & it needed more variety / staging to make it less repetitive) but hey it was a thousand miles above the other teams' submissions so i will take it!!! and i never have to listen to space jam again!! anyway, i guess this means another boring day around camp. winning reward got me two more adventure missions, which i used to mostly complete the outside portion of the quest and jonathan is i think gonna finish it off for us tonight. i am hoping/assuming he'll get whatever is there since it's been literally only 48 hours since this started and the door keypad had five zillion combos, and that'd mean that's the last thing in this adventure probably? oh wait nvm we still have a shit ton of stuff to check in the hallway i should do that next. but yeah so that'll be good and i hope it is an advantage or a disadvantage that he won't play on me LOL. if i wake up and all my fuel is destroyed.... i know where you've been jonny! not much else to report right now. it sounds like ali's doing a good job of getting himself in the good graces of zoe and jonathan, which is the most ideal scenario for me so we can say bye-bye keegan. i was a bit worried that if we lost this challenge i wouldn't have a plausible reason to argue to jonathan for keeping ali - or actually, more likely, i think he would have wanted to vote zoe? she hasn't been around as much and he did express concern on saturday about whether she's doing okay. luckily though, this W has bought me a few more days to work on getting the people i like to like each other.

UGH UGH UGH I GOT TRIBE FUCKEDDDDDDD IM WITH MJ WHO I JUST SLASHED THE VOTE OF AND LIED TO AND THE OTHER 3 ARE FROM THE SAME TRIBE. GOD DAMN IT. woo! ari and i are together in the swap as well as keegan and jonathan, and ali wound up with us as well on the new circi tribe. we won the music video challenge so the streak continues. i’m very tired!

so the tribe swap went pretty much the best it possibly could, as i got swapped majority with the two members of my tribe i talked to the most. we won immunity so i'm chilling for another week. unfortunately, mj and silver seem to have no interest in talking to me. both of them left me on read after i initiated conversation. so. sits.

So despite the easy seeming vote, I'm still gonna be nervous until the votes get read. These players are no joke, especially knowing that Alex was completely blindsided by Nathan and Jessie. I'm staying positive because I think it's like, a 90% chance I'm in the clear, but you really don't know until you know LOL. I'm just trying to set up my position on this tribe and for the future. I've gone to Cindi, Jessie, and Nathan individually and reassured them that I'm with them for the long haul. And for now I mean it, but if any of them get too dangerous then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ sorry not sorry~ looking specifically at you Nathan 👀

TRIBAL AGAIN. I'm so nervous. I'm the only one from Circi so that's an easy swap screwed if you ask me. But I hope I'm ok. I think I've made a good bond with Jay Nathan and jessie and they all say we're voting for Cindi so fingers crossed it's not all an elaborate ruse on me

First tribal should be a unanimous vote. I told Nathan if he voted me out I'd block him and our 50 day snap streak would be toast and, like, tbh I think that would crush him. Jay and I want to work together. The only one who might've been sketched out is Jessie but she doesn't have the numbers. It feels insane to be this not paranoid before tribal when I know Jacob is pushing my name...but also I literally don't think that he could get me out?? Like, Nathan and I were/are a dynamic duo so I do not know how he would flip. Jay flipping makes zero sense. The ONLY people this would benefit or be a neutral for is Jessie and Jacob. The only way I go is if Nathan and Jay are two of the dumbest players on the planet.

Sixty One

Randi

Cayden and I were in a really good place since my last therapy session and we had been talking about a lot of things over the last 2 weeks. I guess my opening up and emotional display when I came home had really made him feel some way because he had been telling me a lot about his childhood and things that made him the way he was.

We sat in the car driving to the mall because I wanted a dress to wear to the club for some event Cole and Ty were having. I sat in the passenger seat with my hand on the console and his over mine.

“So tell me about you and Ty stealing cars as kids,” I said, looking over and smiling at him. He laughed.

“God, we were idiots. We made hella money doing that though. Most of my elementary and high school I was doing that. This random OG worked in a car shop I used to walk past on my way to school. Well pretending to walk to school. He’d see me ditch my bag once I made it past the block and go off to do whatever reckless shit for the day,” he said.

“You didn’t go to school?” I asked.

“Nah, I hated it. Never understood what was happening in class,” he shrugged.

“But you’re smart Cay,” I was confused.

“It wasn’t that, I just ain’t pay attention. All I wanted was to either play ball or kick it with my homies. Ty didn’t go to my school and he was my best friend, so I think that made it worse.”

“Awe you missed him,” I giggled. He kissed his teeth. “Ok so the guy at the car shop.”

“Yeah, so he seen me, then one day he stopped me and asked where I was going everyday. I said no where, then he asked if I wanted to put my time into something profitable. Being the young pimpin I was, I was like aight. Told Ty, and that’s how we ended up brining in cars for him,” he finished the story. I raised my brows.

“So your mom didn’t know what you was doing?”

“No. Trey didn’t even know for a while,” he laughed after that.

“What?” I grinned looking up at his amused face.

“I just remembered how he beat my ass when he found out. He said he didn’t want me doing all that, even though the nigga was balls deep in the drug game,” he explained.

“He wanted to protect you.” I understood that. Cay nodded. “Trey sounds like he was a really good brother.”

“He was,” he looked away and out the windshield to the long line of backed up cars in front of us. We had been stuck in traffic for over an hour but I didn’t mind.

“Does it still make you sad to talk about him?” I asked, squeezing his hand. He shook his head.

“Not so much now. 2,3, years ago, ya. But it’s ok now. ‘Course I wish he was here. But he’s gone and he ain’t coming back, nothing I can do,” his face didn’t reveal much.

“I wish that for you too,” I said. I lifted our hands and kissed the back of his. He glanced over at me and smirked.

“I love you,” he said.

“I love you more,” I said, digging through my bag with my free hand.

“What are you looking for?” He asked, glancing at the rear view mirror.

“Food,” I said.

“We should be there soon now. We’re the next exit,” he said. My stomach growled in response.

“Hopefully I make it,” I said, opening a candy I’d found.

“We stopped at McDonald’s on our way here mama,” he said.

“So what are you trying to say,” I said, closing my bag and folding my hands.

“Nothing. Hey look at that dog in the car next to us,” he changed the subject.

“Don’t get any idea’s,” I said.

“Come on, we should get one. They’re so cute,” he said.

“They are cute, but I know you’d get one and I’d end up doing everything,” I narrowed my eyes. He chuckled.

“All you gotta do is walk it,” he said.

“And pick up it’s poo. Nah I can’t do dog shit. I can change diapers, wipe a bum or 2” I said without thinking and there was a brief silence. It wasn’t an awkward silence. The tension between us was hard to explain. The way he looked at me made my knees weak and I couldn’t look away so that didn’t help.

“You can put diapers on the dog,” he said.

“You know how expensive diapers are?” I laughed “ if I’m buying them there better be a human baby involved.”

“Good point,” he said, changing lanes to exit. I looked out the window. I could see the mall from where we were.

In the mall we went into several stores looking for a white dress since the theme was all white.

“This feels like shopping for my wedding dress all over again,” I said as Cayden zipped me into a dress. I turned around to face him and he was cheesing.

“You looked sexy as hell in that dress,” he said.

“I liked seeing you in a suit,” i said, placing my hands on his chest.

“Maybe we should get married again,” he suggested. I laughed.

“I barely survived the first wedding, I was so nervous. Can’t do that again,” I said, playing with the hair at the back of his neck.

“You got over it though,” he said.

“Yeah, when I saw your face it went away,” i recalled the exact moment.

“Aweee,” he said, imitating a female voice. I rolled my eyes.

“Lucky I like you,” I mumbled.

“I like you too I guess,” he shrugged. I pulled away to look in the mirror. “And I like this one,” he said.

“It makes me look wide,” I frowned at the mirror. He shook his head.

“Nah it’s good,” he assured me. “Your boobs look big, you always like that,” he shrugged.

“They do don’t they,” I turned to the side peeping the cleavage. “Ok I’ll get it.”

I went back into the change room and closed the door to get back in to my own clothes.

Cole

Ty drove up to Dallas to pick me up Saturday morning after my first week at training camp. I low key missed everybody but particularly him. He insisted on me coming back for the weekend since I had no training and he wanted to throw some kind of party or whatever which was dope. We were on some couple shit for real this time so i guess he wasn’t worried about going out together and everyone knowing what was really going down. Now that he was out of the closet as gay…or bi…or whatever he classified himself as.

We were packing up the car with my few things and were about to hit the road.

“You say bye to your little friends?” He asked. I scoffed.

“You’re jealous aren’t you?” I guessed. “All these buff football niggas.”

“Only if you give me a reason to be,” he shrugged.

“That’s not my type anyway,” I said, locking the door to my apartment. We went down the stairs to the car.

“What is your type?” He asked several minutes later. I shrugged.

“Lanky niggas like you,” I said with a smirk. He didn’t think it was funny, but what was new.

We stopped for food at Buffalo Wild Wings before going to Ty’s place because we were both starving. Our wings came and we ate them while watching the golden state game that was on the TV.

“So i been wondering,” i said, starting on something that had been on my mind for a while.

“Yeah,” he said, eyes on the Tv above.

“How was it being with girls before?” I made my tone casual. He shrugged.

“Good,” he said, “it was never nothing serious, just fucked with some chicks.”

“Whats better? Being with a dude or a chick?” i chuckled but it was a bit nervous honestly. I thought about the fact that, for most of his life, Ty had been interested in girls quite a lot. Not gonna lie, it made me insecure because unlike me, he was actually attracted to women as well, and i wasn’t sure where that left me. I had to worry about him looking both ways. All this shit was why in the past i didnt take things past hookups. He looked from the TV to me and looked unusually serious.

“It aint even about that,” he said. “Being with you is better, and not because you a dude. Because you’re you,” he said. That was just about the most, lovey dovey, romantic or whatever you wanna call it, thing anyone had ever said to me. I didnt have anything to say back, i was just surprised. “Better not tell anyone i said that soft ass shit.” I grinned.

“Bet,” i said. He nodded and turned back to the TV.

When we got to Ty’s place we somehow ended up making out as soon as we stepped through the doors. We stumbled down the hallway and to his bedroom, knocking things down the whole way there. I pulled away to grab his shirt and pulled it up over his arms. I liked his tattoos a lot. I had a few but the full chest and arms looked good on him. He gripped my neck and pulled me back in to put his lips on mine. We were at the foot of the bed so i pushed him back and he fell on to the bed. I leaned over him and put my mouth to his chest. I trailed down his stomach slowly. His phone started ringing then. He didnt make a move to get it so i went on to unbutton his jeans. I got them down to his knees and then the phone went off again.

“You gon get that?” i said, looking up at him. He was biting his lip which was adorable but id never tell him that.

“Fuck that,” he said, voice hoarse. I chuckled and continued the trail of kisses until i reached my final destination and Ty’s teeth quickly sank back into his lip. I wanted to show him how i felt about him after what he said at the restaurant and i wasn’t the best with words. From the look on his face i was pretty sure this would do.

We were laying in the bed chilling for a while after, catching our breath and everything. Ty’s phone was ringing again so i told him to just get it. I got up and put my boxers on, making my way to the kitchen to get bottles of water. When i came back he was talking to someone.

“They came to yo crib?” He sounded pretty heated. There wa silence for a bit. “You think they actually got anything?”

I handed him the bottle and he took it. I sat down beside him.

“Aight well keep me posted. We’ll discuss it tonight at the club. Aight,” he said, then hung up.

“Cayden?” i guessed. He nodded. “Everything okay?”

“Some shit may be going down. But we handling it,” he said. I nodded understanding. I had been around the game enough to understand and not bother asking too many questions.

“Im sure yall gon handle it,” i said simply.

Cayden

After taking Randi to get all her stuff at the mall we drove back home to just chill because we were tired of going around. She went to the closet to go and try all her stuff on all over again and do whatever other shit. I changed into some shorts and grabbed my headphones.

“Im gonna go workout in the basement,” i said.

“Ok,” she said. “I might be gone when you done. Gotta stop by the shop for a quick minute and sign some stuff for Jada and China.”

“Aight. Let me know if you want me to take you,” grabbed a towel from the hamper.

“K, thanks,”

I turned and left the bedroom. When i got downstairs i did a bit of cardio on the treadmill to get a good sweat going before i did any lifting. My weights were all out of order because Randi ass be using my shit and got no respect to put things back the way she found them.

About 30 minutes into my workout i heard the doorbell going off upstairs.

“I got it!” Randi yelled. I hadnt been sure she was still home. I assumed she’d called somebody over. I continued lifting my weights.

A few minutes later heavy footsteps came down the stairs and Randi was walking, no storming, towards me. Her face wasn’t a happy one. I raised a brow. She pointed at my headphones so took them off. She handed me a piece of paper. 'Detective James Smith, FBI’. My body stiffened and my face went blank. The feds had showed up at my door and talked to Randi. I was livid. I tore the card and gave it back to her.

“Should i be worried?” she asked. I shook my head.

“No,” i said. She glared at me until i got up from the bench. “Im handling it,” i said. She gave me some side eye but i guess she believed me because she didnt blow up.

“Better be,” she said.

“What they want?”

“They just asked questions. Some bullshit about suspicious cars in the neighbourhood. They wanted to come inside.”

“What you say to them?” i asked.

“That i had no idea what they were talking about and you weren’t home,” she said in a 'duh’ tone.

“You lied?” I said, surprised, “to the feds?”

“Yeah,” she said in the same tone.

“You didnt have to lie for me,” i said simply, “i dont want you involved in this.”

“Thats the stupidest thing you’ve ever said,” her voice was full with rage. My brows came together in confusion. I expected she’d swoon over the fact that i was doing everything to protect her. “Of course im gonna lie for your ass,” she threw the pieces of paper in my face. “I love you, you idiot. Don’t you get it?”

I did get it, and i should have known she would do everything to stick by my side and ride for me. I was willing to go down for her and she was ready to do the same. But i couldn’t have that.

“I know,” i said, understanding. “Its all gonna be over in a few days. I just gotta deal with someone and its all not gonna matter anymore.”

“Okay,” she said, mouth in a deep set frown. I grabbed her waist with one hand.

“I love you lil mama,” i said, “thats my focus, it always is,” i assured her. I used my other hand to grip her chin and pull her into a deep kiss. The kind that made her close her eyes and forget where she was. She put her hands on my arms to support herself.

“I love you too,” she said breathlessly. Seems i had avoided this argument.

“You still wanna go out tonight?” i asked. She sighed.

“Yeah, lets go. I wanna be there for Cole, we just fixed things,” she said. I nodded understanding.

Later into the night we were in the car headed to the club for Ty and Cole’s event. I had on some while jeans and a white t shirt with my chain. Randi had on the dress that we had bought earlier that day, and i swear i didnt remember it being that short but maybe it just felt that way now that i could see niggas standing outside the club waiting to get in. I pulled into a parking spot and parked the car. She pulled the mirror down to fix her lip gloss. I watched her put it on.

“I cant see, how is it?” she said, turning to me. I took my thumb and wiped the little bit that was on the side of her lips.

“Good,” i said. She smiled. I opened my door and got out to go around to her side. I opened the door for her and she grabbed my hand to get out. We walked towards the entrance and i looked around. Ty was supposed to pull up any minute and we were gonna talk about what had happened. I saw him talking to the bouncers at the front of the line. He saw us and nodded. The bouncer opened up the rope so we could skip the line.

“Go inside, ill be there in a minute,” i said to Randi.

“Ok,” she said, letting go of my arm. The bouncer opened the door and i watched her go inside. Ty dapped me up and we stepped off to the side.

“So whats the deal. I thought we paid everyone off. Who talked?” He said. I shook my head.

“We did. Its not one of our guys. Apparently they got a witness who saw the deal going down. Thats all they got on the case. We deal with them, they got nothing to go on,” I said, pulling a blunt out from my pocket. I lit it and put it between my lips.

“So you wanna kill them?” He asked. I shook my head no.

“Nah, thats messy. They’d be on us quick, and people would look for that person. They just trying to make a buck, theres a cash reward. We just gotta give them i better deal and i guarantee they gon suddenly forget what they saw,” i said, taking a long drag from the blunt. Ty took it and took a hit.

“If you think thats best,” he said. “I wouldn’t mind offing them.”

“Neither would i, but we gotta be smart about it. Can’t get trigger happy.”

“And thats why you in charge not me,” he chuckled. “You be thinking about shit.” i shrugged.

“Red taught me a thing or 2, before he lost his mind,” i mumbled. He nodded.

“Aight,” he handed me the blunt. “Im going in,” he said.

“Imma finish this, be there in a minute,” i said. He went back to the bouncer who let him in.

I was smoking my blunt for a few minutes just thinking when Ty came back out, jogging towards me.

“Yo,” he said. “Better come get yo girl,” he said. My brows came together. What kind of trouble could Randi of all people have gotten into at a club. I put out my blunt. We opened the doors and went inside the club. It was packed. Ty led the way towards the back and i followed. We made it to the bar where i saw Randi, China and Jada standing close together. They were definitely ready to pop off. They were facing another group of a few girls in what could only be a stare down. The other girl was in some skimpy bra and shorts outfit with curly black hair. She had tattoos all over and stood a good bit over Randi. Honestly looking her over i didn’t like Randi’s odds of winning whatever this was. I wasn’t sure what had happened. On the outskirts of the little brawl i saw Cole. I nodded at him.

“Whats going on?” i asked.

“Some chick came sideways at Randi, threw her drink her at her,” he said. I saw the stain on Randi’s white dress. I wasn’t sure what she was gonna do, she was saying something to the girl. I pushed through the few people around them to get behind the wall her and the girls had formed.

“What’s good Randi?” i said. She looked back at me and i saw rage in her eyes.

“Stay out of this Cayden, i got it” she said, walking forward. I looked around for a minute. The guys looked to me to see if they should intervene. Most of my niggas were here and could easily start something. They all would for Randi too since she was my wife. We couldn’t really post up on a chick though so I just shook my head telling them to leave it.

“So what you gonna do?” I asked, standing close behind her.

“Imma just tell her she got me fucked up,” she said. I nodded hesitantly. I got the idea that there was no convincing her to back down now.

Randi walked up to the girl and she crossed her arms. The music was so loud i couldn’t hear what they were saying to each other but it was pretty obvious they were cursing and all that. The girl stepped up to Randi but she didn’t even flinch despite the fact that the other girl was taller. Something was said and Randi snatched the girl’s hair. That’s when things went downhill. I was too stunned by this side of Randi to even do anything. They fell to the ground and I couldn’t see much other than them rolling all over the place. Randi got on top, sitting on the girl’s chest and the girl swiped at Randi. People had gathered now to watch the scene.

“Fuck!” She screamed, and that’s when we moved foward. I had to push past the little crowd that had formed so it took me a while to get to her. By the time I got there, Randi had a knife in her hand and positioned at the girl’s neck.

“Randi!” I shouted, getting her attention. “Give it to me.”

“The bitch cut me,” she yelled, still holding the knife.

“You got her too,” I said pointing at the slash on her collar, “she got the message, right?” I asked the girl who nodded quickly. Randi paused then handed me the knife. She got up off the girl who scrambled up off the floor and quickly ran away with her friends close behind her. Randi fixed her dress and turned to face me.

“Cayden, we gotta bounce,” Pat said, “before the popo pull up.” I nodded and grabbed Randi’s arm as well as collected her friends, then headed for the exit.

“Yall go home, I’ll take the girls back,” Pat offered outside the club. I nodded and told him thanks then pulled a still angry Randi to the car. I opened the door and pushed her inside.

We were dead silent the whole ride home. I didn’t really know what to say, and she was mad, i guess at me, so she was giving silent treatment. When i pulled up to the driveway and parked the car i turned to look at her. I was pretty livid that she had acted like that honestly. She opened her door and got out so i did the same. We got in the house and upstairs to the room. She sat on the bed, touching her arm that had gotten cut. I felt a little bit of guilt then.

“I shouldn’t have let you fight that chick,” I said, looking at her arm. “Since when do you get into fights anyway?” I asked, my voice raised.

“That dumb bitch started it,” she mumbled, dabbing her shoulder. I went to the bathroom and grabbed some stuff to clean it. I handed her some cotton balls.

“So you really had to jump her?” I asked, still in shock. Really Randi had started the physical part of the fight. Though the girl escalated it with the knife.

“Yeah. Then she shanked me, so i had to finish it. You always getting into fights with people, why can’t i?”

“So you was really gon kill her?” I asked, talking about before I called her off. She shrugged. I sighed, and wrapped her arm with a bandage. I thought about her sitting on that girl and ready to cut her like she was in a movie. I was angry but also kind of amused. I felt my face relaxing a little bit into a smirk. That was some shit i would do. "So you think you a gangster now or what?“

"I been a gangster,” she said, side eyeing me. I chuckled.

“Nah it don’t count until you catch a body, or at least some battle wounds,” I said. She pointed to the arm that I had just bandaged. I laughed.

“That small thing,” I scoffed.

“I would have caught a body if you hadnt interrupted.” She rolled her eyes. I grabbed her chin and looked at her.

“On a serious note. You can’t go around fighting people Randi. You gonna get hurt, she could have had a gun. And you wont be catching any bodies, ever. Thats not the type of shit i need my wife doing. Don’t do dumb shit just because I do it,” I said, looking her in the eyes to show I was dead ass.

“That wasn’t why Cayden. I would have fought her either way. I don’t regret it,” she said. I nodded.

“Well, you handled yourself well. I can’t lie, I’m a little proud of you. Maybe there’s a little street in you after all.” I smiled. She grinned and kissed me.

“How am I gonna explain this to my parents?” She asked suddenly. I grabbed all the stuff we had used.

“That’s your business. That’s what happens when you jump people,” I teased, going to put everything away in the bathroom and clean my hands.

“You’re exaggerating i did not jump her,” she said. When i was back in the room i gave her doubtful eyes.

“Aight miss world star.”

“Whatever. Come help me take my shoes off,” she said, laying back on the bed. I went and grabbed her legs, taking her heels off.

“You want some advil?” i asked. She shook her head.

“Just come lay with me,” she said. I got on the bed and spooned her from behind. I wrapped my arms around her waist and rested my hands on her stomach.

“Better?” i asked. She nodded. I kissed her head. I loved my crazy ass wife.

Requested by: @killerfangirl3 Tagging: @velocifoxy AAAAH OK SO this is one of s e v e r a l prompts I got tonight, and while it was gonna be short and include multiple prompts, I CANT HELP MYSELF so hopefully you like fluff. Because that's all this is. It's just. Really a lot of fluff. Princey is too fun to write. Btw it's p late when I finished this, so please forgive any typos/grammatical errors... please take this away I'm so tired. (May have been inspired my Thomas's actual birthday coming up 🎉) Triggers: All I can think of is that someone gets tackled to the ground, theres consent talk (always ask, kids. Princey just forgets people can't read his mind), they kinda argue a little mid kiss, and they... might makeout a little. (Spoiler: they definitely makeout a little). Logics birthday was going to be perfect. Not that he cared. Logic thought it was silly to pick separate birthdays from Thomas, just to celebrate themselves, but Roman considered himself very convincing. So, if logic wouldn't do it himself, he'd just do it for him! Easier said than done, however. Roman ran a hand through his hair, which was a lost cause at this point, sending down a shower of cheap craft glitter. Parties where his thing! He loved them. The attention, the excitement, everything! Unfortunately, planning... wasn't. So here he was, midnight, the night before the party, with tape stuck to his everything, in a hell of his own creation, surrounded of a nest of craft supplies and ripped paper, trying to figure out how to wrap things so perfectly like he sees everyone else do. It works in his head, he just... the black and white chalkboard themed wrapping paper ripped. Again. He threw his head back in frustration. "UGH, You're actually such a man-child, Roman, what is wrong wi-" "I don't think you're a man-child." Roman fell backwards onto a pile of tissue paper. Leaning on the door frame, looking at him over his glasses with his 'teacher with an idiot student' face, was Logan. Princey glared at him from the floor. "You shouldn't scare a man with scissor, Logic. You should know that... how long have you been standing there?" Logic shoved off from the door frame and walked towards him, keeping his arms folded. "A while. Did you know you talk to yourself in spanish sometimes?" Roman nearly forgot what he was doing, watching logic try to keep his mouth from smiling. When he remembered, he fell dramatically back onto the pile of half wrapped books. (Ow, part of him said. Worth it, said the rest of him.) He pointed the scissors in his hand at Logan like a sword, though it was somewhat diminished by the fact that they were kiddy scissors. "Stay back!" Logic snorted, trying to see around him to what he was covering. "There's no reason to hide them. If you wanted to throw a party, you should have just said so, here, let me help-" "No!" Princey jumped up, tackling logic to the ground. All he could think about was 'this birthday has to be perfect he works so hard and wow our faces are close now hang on w h a t' "...Okay." Logic said slowly from the floor. "I have... several questions." In his excitement, Roman had actually pinned logic to the ground, his hands braced on either side of his head. He froze. 'This is it. The most. Unsuave moment of my life.' Logic adjusted his glasses. "First of which. Is that glitter in your hair?" Princy felt his cheeks heat up even further. "...yes." His voice cracked a little. ... ok maybe more than a little. "That's going to be hell to get out. Alright... now, why exactly... do you have glitter in your hair at midnight?" Roman sighed, shifting uncomfortably. "...Because it's your birthday tomorrow." Logan furrowed his brow. "I do not have a birthday." Roman sat up, throwing his hands in the air in frustration. "I KNOW! You don't have one! You don't care about birthdays! You don't care about picking on movie night, you don't care about telling us what your favorite food is, you just eat, and sleep, and work without asking us for anything! It's like we aren't allowed to care!" He let his hands drop to logics chest, trying to keep tears out of his eyes. "I just. I wanted to do something. For once. To say that I see how hard you work. It was foolish of me I- I apologi-" Logan moved remarkably fast for someone with a grown man sitting on his stomach. He sat up and grabbed Roman by the collar in one move, pulling him close, so close that he could feel tears on logics face too and they were almost touching and WHY wasn't he DOING ANYTHING- "... Roman?" He had his eyes shut tight. He might have been holding his breath. "Yes what?" "Can I kiss you?" His eyes snapped open. "What!?" "I sai-" "no I heard you, I'm just confused why exactly you would ask such an idiotic question!" Logan pulled away slightly, or as much as he could in the situation, looking away and readjusting his necktie. "I should have read the situation better, my apolog-" "IM SITTING ON YOUR LAP CRYING ABOUT HOW MUCH I CARE FOR YOU, WOULD YOU JUST KISS ME ALREADY?" Roman felt ridiculous. He had his arms folded like a three year old and tears running down his face, but Logan still leaned in, smiling like he was the sun, ghosting a thumb over romans cheek. "Consent is important." "I know...." princes didn't pout. But Roman didn't care about being princely at that exact moment. "Do you forgive me?" He huffed. "I'll forgive you when you stop running yourself into the gro-" logic pressed his lips to his, gently, hands pressing lightly at the small of his back. When Roman threaded his hands in his hair by the back of his neck, pulling him closer, he sighed, and began to kiss in earnest. Roman, growing less upset by the minute, still mumbled between kisses. "Ok well- I don't think- this is- a reliable debate tactic-" Logan hummed, moving to pepper kisses to Romans jawline. "A-and you really ruined the- the surprise. I was so looking forward to- you are being very distracting!" Logan grinned up at him sheepishly. "I'm sorry. Did you still want to wrap the presents?" Roman sighed. "I... not that I'm not enjoying this but... kind of. I know it ruins the surprise, but I... wouldn't mind some help." He put his hands up defensively "I know it doesn't make sense, I just. I really wanted this to be nice. For you. Stop looking at me like that." "Like what?" "Like I'm doing something amazing! I'm just. Doing normal people things. Like being bad a wrapping presents." Logic picked up one of his hands, and brushed his lips to the back of his knuckles, like in a romance novel. "You are being amazing, Roman. You always are... wait. is there- is there tape stuck to your hand-" "THIS IS NOT MY AREA OF EXPERTISE, LOGAN!" The few short hours before sunrise were spent attempting to wrap the every book neatly, although most of it ended up with logic flipping through them, enthusiastically spouting out facts while Roman leaned on his side, filing away all the exited looks on his face, and occasional kissing. They only got through about half by morning, and morality woke up to them lying in a tornado of tissue paper and tape, Logan with a book on his face, and Roman curled up besides him, tucked under one arm. He smiled at the two over his coffee cup while anxiety took as many photos as he possibly could. "Happy birthday, Logan."

Mind Heist - Chapter 1

Word count: 1,677

Author's note: Hello there! So...here's the official first chapter! A huge thanks to everyone that has liked and reblogged the prologue so far; it means a heck of a lot, to me and Kaylee both! :'D

Fun fact! I'm actually sick right now, as I'm sitting here editing this! I've had a cold for almost a week now. So...fun! ;w;

Hope you all enjoy! And brace yourselves, folks...the next chapter is where the REAL crap begins to go down...

The next morning, Mabel was greeted by soft summer sunshine and the twittering of birds...and then a few kisses from Waddles.

Mabel woke up giggling and smiled to see her piggy friend. "Good morning, Waddles." She booped his nose with her nose. "Good morning, Dipper!"

She turned to look at his side of the room, but Dipper was still curled up in a little ball under his blankets, sound asleep.

"Aww." Mabel smiled and decided to let him get the rest he needed.

She took her clothes and tiptoed down to the second-floor bathroom. Soon, she was downstairs and having breakfast with Grunkle Stan. He was quick to ask where Dipper was, but Mabel explained to him that he needed extra sleep, and Stan agreed to let him come to work late. Several hours later, however, Stan had already been giving tours for quite some time, and Dipper was still nowhere to be found.

It was then that Mabel decided to check up on him, just in case. She went up into the attic and peeked at his bed.

The door squeaked a little as it opened. Dipper, who was just starting to wake up, groaned softly and turned over. Mabel noticed that he seemed to shiver, just a little bit, as he curled himself into a tighter ball.

"M-Mabel?" he said quietly, picking his head up a little. "What...time is it?" When he spoke, his voice didn't sound quite right, and suddenly, a muffled sneeze came up from underneath the covers.

"It's still early, don't worry." Mabel quickly walked over to his side. "Are you feeling okay? You don't look so good..." She reached out to touch his forehead...and her eyes widened. "Dipper, you're burning up!"

Dipper sneezed again and slowly sat up, holding his head. His face was pale and flushed, and his cheeks and nose bright red. "Ugh...yeah, I-I don't feel so hot..." He soon started coughing, and he sounded terrible. He shakily began to climb out of bed, but Mabel stopped him.

"Uh, NO...hot is EXACTLY how you feel! You gotta stay in bed," Mabel cried, the concern evident in her voice. "Maybe this is 'cause you haven't had much sleep recently..." She frowned at the thought. "I'll go tell Grunkle Stan so he can get you some medicine."

Dipper tried to object, but dizziness overcame him. "Okay..." He cleared his throat and wrapped his blanket back around himself as Mabel headed off to find their Grunkle.

Downstairs, Stan was in the main exhibit room of the Mystery Shack, giving a tour to some Canadian tourists who were taking a bus tour through the Pacific Northwest. "Be prepared for the SHOCK of your life...literally, shock. I'd keep the weird cordless phones at a safe distance. Behold-"

Suddenly, he felt a small hand tugging on his suit jacket and paused his speech. When he looked down, there was little Mabel. "Hold on a sec, folks. I'm gettin' a message from one of my little elves here." The tourists giggled at that.

Stan took Mabel aside and bent down to her level. "Sweetie, what're you doin'? What's up?"

"Grunkle Stan, Dipper just woke up but he looks a little under the weather," Mabel replied. "I thought you might have some medicine to help him feel better."

"Under the weather?" Stan didn't let it show, but he became a little concerned himself. "How serious are we talkin'?"

"He looks pretty bad. I think he might have a fever." Mabel looked a bit sad as she said it.

Stan patted her shoulder. "Okay. Calm down, honey; I'm comin'. Just give me a minute..." he said gently. He cracked open the gift-shop door, where Soos was in the process of changing lightbulbs. "Soos! Dipper's sick, so you're gettin' your wish. I need ya to take care of these tourists. And don't be afraid to extort as much cash out of 'em as possible! The economy's better in Canada!"

"Aww, poor little dude." Soos straightened his hat with a determined look on his face. "I shall not fail you, Mr. Pines."

Stan came back into the exhibit room and laughed nervously. "Sorry about the interruption, folks; looks like I'm gonna have to cut this short and head off for parts unknown." The tourists were quick to "aww" in disappointment. "Ah, ah - have no fear, dear tourists. No more than usual anyway. I'm leavin' ya in the capable - HOPEFULLY, capable - hands of my handyman/henchman, Soos. Have a spooky daaaay..." he said dramatically as he walked away. Then, he turned to Mabel, completely serious. "Alright. Take me to 'im."

Without hesitation, Mabel took his hand and led him upstairs.

Dipper picked his head up at the sound of Mabel walking in with Stan and tried to act like he wasn't that sick. "Hi, Grunkle Stan..." he said hoarsely before sneezing again.

Stan walked over and put his own hand on Dipper's head. "...Oh boy." He was really worried then, but refused to show that, internally, he was freaking out somewhat. "Stay. There. I'll be right back."

Mabel tried to give him a reassuring smile. "It's okay, Dipper. I'm sure you'll get better in no time...with Dr. Mabel and Nurse Waddles!" Waddles then walked over and sat nearby the twins with a small oink.

Dipper managed to smile a little. "Thanks, sis," he said quietly, sniffling. Mabel grinned back, feeling glad she could lighten up the mood.

The twins heard Stan grumbling down on the second floor. "I do not believe this; of ALL the times..." He came back upstairs shortly, this time with a thermometer. "Well...I got nothin'. I normally do all of my stockpilin' before Halloween, so the Shack's wiped out. I'm gonna have to make a medicine run, but before I go anywhere..." He stuck the thermometer in Dipper's mouth. "I gotta know what I'm dealin' with here, kiddo. Don't move."

Dipper mumbled what was probably an 'OK'.

Stan then turned to Mabel. "Hate t'ask you this, but I need Soos and Wendy t'manage the Shack by themselves while I'm gone - Lord help us." He rolled his eyes at the thought of it. "Y'think you can keep an eye on your brother while I'm not here?"

"You got it, Grunkle Stan." Mabel gave him a thumbs up.

"Thank you," Stan said...and then acted as if it had been painful for him to say it.

Suddenly, the thermometer beeped. Dipper mumbled something when it beeped, but nobody could tell exactly what it was that he said.

Stan took it back...and winced a bit when he saw what it said. 100.4. "Well...you're not dyin', but you're certainly not leavin' that bed, either."

"Fair enough," Dipper replied, coughing.

Stan patted Dipper on the shoulder. "Alright. Wendy should be comin' in for her shift any minute, so I gotta give orders." He was about to leave...but he peeked back in for a second. "You kids gonna be alright here by yourselves?"

"Don't worry about it. Me and Waddles got it covered." Mabel put an arm around Waddles and smiled.

Stan couldn't help but smile a bit, too. "Alrighty. Hang in there, kid," he said to Dipper. "See you kids later." And with that, he headed out to his car.

"Bye, Grunkle Stan," Dipper called after him. He quickly realized that that was a mistake, though, when his throat began to burn. "Ow."

Mabel frowned and put a hand on Dipper's shoulder. "Take it easy, okay?"

Dipper nodded. "Mhm..." He suddenly grabbed the box of tissues he kept next to his bed and sneezed into one. "Okay...THIS...is seriously the WORST. Who the heck gets this sick in the middle of the summer?"

"It DOES seem a little weird...but all we can do now is help you get better." Mabel tucked him in and fixed his pillow. "Do you need anything?"

"Um...just a drink, if you don't mind," Dipper replied.

Mabel nodded. "Sure thing!"

She could hear Dipper cough a bit as he snuggled back down into his blankets. As she headed downstairs, she found herself deep in thought. Something felt...off to her. At first, she thought that she was just concerned that Dipper had become so ill so quickly, and in the middle of July, yet. While she was definitely worried about him, that wasn't it. She shrugged it off, for she wanted to remain focused on getting her brother well again...but for a moment, she wondered whether or not something about the whole situation just felt...unnatural.
