God, I fucking hate IF.

What is with people just thinking they can straight up just steal stuff off here and pass it off as theirs on there? Just yesterday, @phati-sari was dealing with her own plagiarism nonsense, where someone just took parts of an amazing FF she wrote and passed it off as theirs - I was privy to PS’s writing process for that story (among many others) and I know how much hard work she put into it (and everything she puts on her blog.) And not only did that person just rip it off, they also took a little Easter Egg PS had put in the story as an inside joke for me! Like, the line didn’t even work in the context of the story that they were writing, but they still just… took it. Now today, I find that someone’s just copy pasted a reply to an ask I got (right down to the curse words), as if it was a wholly original thought they had on their own. And being well acquainted with the inner workings of that hellsite (up to a pretty high level), I’m well aware that absolutely NOTHING can/will be done.

At whoever “OJAANA” is, if you’re reading this, I hope you haven’t made a habit of just copy pasting things you find on here and passing it off as your own. And generally at whoever indulges in this absolute garbage behaviour: You don’t need to take someone else’s words. Please express yourself in your own words. You’ll find that it’s very liberating and that people will value you more for your authenticity and who you are that way, than presenting yourself as someone you’re not. Not to mention, people put a lot of work into making a blog here and creating content for it, and you just coming here and taking our stuff is just unethical and FUCKED UP. STOP BEING AN ASSHOLE.

For what it’s worth, I’ve remade an account on IF and my username there is “tellywoodtrash”. If you see stuff on IF from this blog under any other username, it’s been fucking stolen.
