Hiii fairy! I'm curious.. out of the hq and jjk fics you've written so far, which characters were the most difficult to write and what makes them hard to write about ?

I used to be scared of writing toji but after I did now I do get the urge to write him again, nanami reALLYYYY gave me a hard time too

for hq!! I remember Sakusa really being hard to write for me, Ushi too a little though I could get into it when I tried,, uhmmm akaashi a little too

I think it’s quiet and mostly stoic characters that give me the hardest time, just because they’re sort of ,,, really the antithesis of how I write. I like to describe expressions and tone and mood and I like to do dialogue with a lot of subtext and really stoic people just make that soooo much harder! that’s the running theory I have on why writing some people feels like rubbing sandpaper over my eyeballs oNDNFJKF

Oikawa popped the chip into his mouth, and Iwaizumi watched him expectantly. His friend's face twisted around the taste like a big baby. Iwaizumi felt his face wobble with mirth. Oikawa loved salt and vinegar chips--but he always, without fail, made a face when he ate them.

"Ya think you're so smart, don'tcha?"

"I do!"

Iwaizumi kept a straight face, but his chest warmed.

"Glad ya realize Kunimi is good enough to do that."

"What kinda setter would I be if I didn't, Iwa-chan!"

reader is obvi the princess he's sworn to protect and he's spent so much time with her and is so observant and caring that he notices every little thing abt her, which leads to him finding out she has a biiiig crush on him (which let's be honest who wouldn't)

and iwa has always hidden his feelings for reader bc he's supposed to watch over her and protect her! he's her most loyal guardian!

that night in particular tho, the princess is going through sort of a rebellious phase where she just refuses to stay in her room and is bent on sneaking out... let's just say iwa needs to get creative and the only way to keep her in the castle is to take care of her very thoroughly 🤭
