may I ask what is the purpose of tagging a post?

Me? I tag posts because tags are like the subtle humor and when I'm not making dick jokes, I like to be subtle and humorous.

Outside of that tagging is for organization. Like, I tag all of the graphics that I think are orgasmic with 'lovely', so if I ever wanted to re-experience that hazy lust, I would just go to thecapn/tumblr/com/tagged/lovely and browse.
