Thinking so much about Abby developing the most debilitating crush on the cute girl in her class who is always early and always reading

Like one day she decides to show up to class earlier than usual, bc she usually gets there like 5min before class starts and gets stuck with weird seats or super packed aisles that had the only seat open and it really sucks

So out of spite she just starts showing up unreasonably early (1hr before class) to make sure she gets a good seat and low and behold there is no class in that room before her english class (bc I firmly believe she would do an english minor and like maybe kinesiology? I have not put too too much thought to her major but i would love to hear opinions!), so she gets her pick of the entire room!

She nestles into the third row bc it’s the perfect spot! Not too far back to be easily distracted but not immediately in front of the professor. I think she’d pick an end seat, but the ones next to the wall and not the aisle bc she knows she’s a bigger girl and she doesn’t want to make people like crawl over her to get a seat and she’s always super aware of how much space she takes up anyways

There she is! In her lil seat! An hour before class just hanging out! She’s checking her laptop and her phone and getting her note-taking situation set up and god she is so regretting not bringing like a book or something bc this is a lot of free time and it would be perfect for reading and then!!

Like fifteen minutes later you show up and she doesn’t really notice until you sit in the same row as her, a few seats down

She looks over and she is f l o o r e d bc who is this cutie??? Have you always been in her class??? How did she not know??? She thinks ur so cute in ur lil outfit, how much shorter you look compared to her, even in the seat, ur headphones in and ur music barely audible and she’s just staring at this point and oh god oh no you notice and now she wants to crawl into a hole and decay 

You, unbeknownst to her, are completely Awestruck by this absolute goddess of a woman who is suddenly sitting in your row and thank god she didn’t take Your seat that you have been sitting in since the class began and oh god ur not gonna change seats now so you have to sit next to her

So you act Natural and pull out your stuff as you usually would, including your current read!! Last Night at the Telegraph Club by Malinda Lo!! Very good very gay and oh my god you hope the mystery girl sees the girls on the cover and gets the hint and you hope that she also likes girls bc wowowowow!!! She’s even prettier the closer you are to her!! And she looks so strong!!! Her arms so big and now ur head is spinning bc she could probably pick you up and mandhandle you and do whatever she wanted and now ur completely off track bc she is just so pretty

And she is staring at you!! So you panic a little bit and send her a lil smile and wave and her heart damn near stops because One she got caught Two ur so fucking cute so she Composes herself and waves back and then

Just turns back to her laptop

Like a coward. Bc u are so cute and she wants to talk to u so bad so Obviously she can’t bc she can and will make a bigger fool of herself than she already did

n this makes you sad bc duh, she’s so cute u thought she was gonna say something but no :( so you just start reading ur book and u get so into it that u don’t notice that abby keeps looking over at u! And she thinks ur so cute! Bc ur so focused and there’s this lil crease between ur brows from how hard ur focusing on this book and oops now she’s trying to look at the cover without u noticing and oops now she’s typing it into her browser and would u look at that! It’s in stock at her favorite bookstore! so now she knows what she’s doing after class instead of homework!

so u two sit and u read and she watches and floats aimlessly on the internet and then class proceeds as usual and abby feels so much better in this seat! She can actually hear and see without being stuck with ppl who talk during class or are super distracting on their laptops bc ur the closest to her and ur a diligent little notetaker! truly the best idea she’s ever had good job abby :)

Immediately after class she hauls ass to the bookstore and picks up the book u were reading (and maybe two more ok she has little self control in here it’s fine her dad is a neurosurgeon) and she starts reading it that day and omg!! She loves it!!! She reads like half of it in one day and forgets to do her homework and oh shit okay she has to bust out two discussion posts before midnight and now she’s panicking but it’s fine she’s got this!

the next time she has that class, she brings the book with her to read beforehand and u show up! But with a different book :( she’s so sad she wanted to talk to u about this one but u probably already finished it! So, of course, she pulls out her phone and writes down the book ur reading now, In A Lonely Place by Dorothy B. Hughes

she is both kinda shocked that it’s so different, some old crime novel but it sounds interesting so after class she runs back to the bookstore to get it and it’s there!! She didn’t even bother to check if it was in stock but it was! obvs the universe wants yall to have this connection so ofc she buys it and starts reading it the next week bc school caught up to her and it took a second to finish the first book :(

so she’s so excited when she shows up to class that week with the book, which she hasn’t started yet! And then u show up! And omg she might cry bc u have another book again :( ur just so fast she cannot keep up but she is gonna keep trying!

another two weeks pass with another two books and by now ur starting to notice that she always seems to be reading the last book u read and u don’t know if it’s intentional but if it is that is so sexy of her and u will hold her hand about it

so u decide to test it! u slow down on ur reading speed for the next book and u intentionally pick a less popular one (???)  bc at that point what are the odds it isn’t intentional? So u show up with When the Moon Was Ours by Anna-Marie McLemore for the next three classes and sure enough! By the second class she has it and she’s reading it and so are u and ur both so excited about it!!

Abby is like ninety percent sure she’s been found out but her suspicions are confirmed when u turn to talk to her, voice low even though ur like the only people in the classroom bc class doesn’t start for another forty minutes, and u ask her how she likes it, especially compared to the rest of the books and she just turns Bright Red

She’s so cute and blushy and tripping over her sentences when she tells u she really likes it even though she just started it and by god she thinks she’s gonna melt into a puddle of pure sapphic when u giggle and smile at her and tell her ur glad!! Bc it’s one of ur favorite books!!

n y’all start talking about the books you’ve been reading and ur both so into it that u completely give up on reading before class today! Not when this absolute sweetheart of a girl is reading the book u read!! For u!! Bc abby straight up tells u she wanted to talk to u but didn’t know how so she just started reading all the books u read bc that makes sense?? I mean it worked so yeah!! Makes sense!!

u scoot into the seat right next to her, abandoning ur old seat :( but for a much better one bc omg she smells so good u wanna bite her or kiss her or sit in her lap and snuggle into her :( and abby is freaking out bc u also smell good and ur so pretty she wants to hug u and kiss u and make u cre-

Anyways eventually class starts :( which sucks so bad but ur right next to her and she maybe finds it a lil bit harder to focus but it’s fine!! She gets through it and at the end of class, she builds up the courage (tbh she wasn’t really listening to the last ten minutes bc she was so Anxious) to ask u for ur number!!! Which u give her ofc, and right before u leave u nearly make her heart pop out of her chest

As u pull on ur bag, u turn to her and say that you’ll text her to set up ur lil bookclub :( maybe you can go get coffee to talk about it :) and by god that is close enough to a date for abby that she just nods dumbly and smiles and watches as you leave, a lil smile on ur face that makes her want to pull u back and kiss u silly!!

She knows then and there that she has to make u her gf or she’ll literally wither away (ofc she succeeds!! She’s abby!!!)

y/n’s pov

you sit outside of his apartment waiting for him to open the door, the breeze outside was a pleasant surprise. you soon hear the lock click and the door open, being greeted with iwaizumi behind it. “hey iwa! how’s it going?” you smile as he motions you in with his hands. “it’s going well, sorry i didn’t get some of it clean, oikawa likes to come mess up my place from time to time.” he scratches the back of his head while you laugh at his statement. “that’s perfectly fine iwa.” he takes in your outfit with his eyes and a tint of red paints his cheeks. he walks over to the couch inviting you to come join him, “you can sit wherever you’d like, i don’t mind,” accompanied with a smile. you decide to sit in the middle of the couch while he plops down next to you, still at a comfortable distance.

“what kind of movie do you want to watch?” he focuses on the tv biting his bottom lip in concentration. your eyes light up at the question and you respond, “ooou can we watch a horror movie?” he slowly turns his head and shakes it from one side to the other, “i hate horror movies.” you continue to look him in the eyes puffing out your bottom lip. “i-i uh well,, i guess i can’t say no can i?” he closes his eyes as you respond to him, “nope, not at all.” after convincing him to watch a horror movie he finally picks one that he doesn’t think will be too scary. (yeah it’s a scary scary movie)

as the movie goes on iwaizumi seems to inch closer to you until your arms and legs are touching, you can visibly see him jump every time the music gets ominous. you smile knowing that this next jump scare is the worst one in the movie. it soon arrived and iwaizumi yelps as he hides his face in the crook of your neck, his arms wrapping tightly around your body. “aww iwaaa, are you that scared?” you feel him starting to pout on your shoulder so you pull his face away from your shoulder. he looks away trying to hide the deep blush creeping up on his face. “here, lift up.” he pulls his back from the couch and you start rubbing circles on his shoulders. “t-thank you.” the blush on his face gets worse than before.

soon enough the movies over and iwaizumi is asleep on your lap, slight snores escaping his lips. you look at his peaceful face and start running your fingers through his hair. you grab your phone and text the group chat that he’s one not a serial killer and two you’re safe and he’s asleep. after you text the group chat you decide to watch another movie. towards the end of the second movie he starts moving around. “hey, i’m sorry did i fall asleep?” his just woke up voice rang through your ears. “uhh, y-yeah i just uh watched another movie.” he nods and sits up, making your lap feel cold again. “i normally don’t fall asleep on people like that,” he scratches the back of his head, “just uh people i trust.” he smiles and looks towards you, “thanks for not stealing my kidneys by the way, you a real one.”

“would you want to watch a funny movie, since you were so scared of the horror movie?” you sarcastically turn your head towards him as he tries to stifle a laugh. “i mean. i’m down.” halfway through the movie you start feeling sleepy, your eyes closing on their own, drifting off to sleep.

iwaizumi’s pov

i feel a weight on my shoulder and look over to see y/n fast asleep. i smile and pull her closer to me so that her head is more comfortable on my chest. she grumbles in her sleep and i try not to laugh at the soft snores coming from her. i decide to run my fingers through her hair soothing both me and her. i feel the same blush as earlier creeping up once again, just the picture of her in my arms is enough to make me blush. i smile and lay my head back on the cushion slowly falling asleep too.

y/n’s pov

you begin to wake up, trying to get up to check your phone but feel weighted down. noticing that your laying on iwaizumis chest and his arms are wrapped around you, small rhythmic breaths escaping his lips. you try and move out of his grasp but he keeps pulling you back and mumbling the same phrase, “please don’t leave.” (i mean how could you leave with iwaizumi being all soft) you poke his face and he wakes up with a gasp, “hey iwa, it’s just me dummy.” he looks down and starts laughing, “oh, you scared me.” now it was your turn to laugh at his stoic response. “gosh i guess we both fell asleep huh?” he turns his head to meet your gaze, messy hair, dried drool, and heavy lidded eyes. “yeah, you look like you got hit by a bus.” he laughs and lightly punches you in the arm. (which sends you flying across the room to break your back 😀 jk)

“anyways, mrs. i wake up looking cute after a nap, are you hungry? we didn’t eat dinner.” he lays his head on your shoulder continuing to play with your hair. “aww iwa, you think i’m cute? but yeah i am getting a little hungry.” he blushes once again at your remark nodding in your shoulder, once he sits up he offers his hand so you take it. he grabs his jacket, one for you, and his keys then leads you out of the door. “where are we going?” you laugh grabbing his hand tighter, interlacing your fingers. “it’s a secret.” he holds his other hand to his mouth. you guys went to mcdonald’s in the end and went to a park to eat it. he fed you fries and chicken nuggets and laughed at stories of your friends. in the end you thought it was a perfect day and thought you should do this more often, with him. “hey, iwaizumi, uh can i call you by your first name?” you look over to him. “oh, uh, yes, yeah you can, i would really like that actually.” you smile and nod, “alright hajime.”

After three hours of talking with the police they finally get my statement and i can be dismissed. My body is shaking and i cant think of anything else rather than a bottle of wine and my bed

"If you have more things to testify please don't hesitate to call us" the officer gives me her card and a faint smile before leaving me alone

Who do i even call? Zoe said she will be busy studying so that means her phone is on mute and i feel hopeless already. Sighing i walk towards my dorm looking around everywhere to make sure i am alone.

Benji is getting expelled and sued for harassment and assault but i can still feel his hands on my shoulders, the creepy smile on his face and of course i will never forget how i whooped his ass. Everything happened so fast and even though i knew he was in love with me i never thought this would escalate so quickly

I finally arrive at my dorm and my phone buzz, of course its The T. Right now drama is the last thing that i want so i turn off my phone going straight for the wine bottle. I pour myself a glass but is it even enough? Who am i kidding, i take the whole bottle and i sink into the couch

The exhaustion hits me at once and i can feel all my muscles relax. Who thought beating his crusty ass would be so tiring. I close my eyes but everything takes me back to the horror i felt when i saw that damn shrine

The way he smiled and talked about us like we were even together, the way he thought it was okay for him to do this claiming its true love. I have envy to vomit just thinking about it and that damn smell, i will never forget this night

Tears prick in the corner of my eyes thanking god the police arrived soon. What if i didn't find courage to defend myself? His oily hairy ass would do such bad things to me wouldn't it? A shiver runs down my spine just thinking of the possibilities but a knock on the door brings me back to reality

Thinking its Zoe i open the door ready to crash on her hug but instead i see Poppy??

I hold on the door for support, my body is ready to collapse anytime now. I look at her and her expression changes to one i have never seen before. Her eyes sparkle under the low lights, are these tears?

"I wanted to make sure you are okay" she says looking away, since when the Queen of this university is shy?

I let her come in and i sit on the couch feeling all the weight leaving my body

"I knew Benji was an asshole but i never thought that he..i dont.." she trails off, her eyes scanning my body

"I knew he liked me but not..god no" i remember that rotten shrine and i shiver, my eyes are starting to water and i look away, why would i let her see my vulnerable side

I watch her standing up, sitting next to me. Her facial expressions give up the fact that she cares but how? Wasn't she the one who wanted to ruin my life? I can't overthink about her sudden affection because i feel her soft hands all over me

"He didn't hurt you did he? Because if he did i will make sure he rots in jail" the anger in her eyes cant be ignored anymore

"Why are you doing this? I thought you hate me" she pulls her hands away, her face falls.. i think she got offended. Its not like i am wrong, since i walked on the campus she made it her personal mission to make my life a living hell

"It's my fault, things went too far" again she looks away, is this my imagination or does this sounds like a love confession? I swallow hard not knowing exactly what to say

"I lost control i admit and mind you i hardly say this but..my family is..i.." she sighs and i take her hand giving it a pat

"You don't have to tell my anything you don't want to, and to be honest Benji was weird regardless but..for what is worth i am sorry too"

Before she can reply i stand up to find my bag. Everything i can use against her to ruin her life are held on my hands and looking at it now its fucked up

"Here take these" i hand to her every proof i own that can make her life a living hell and at first she looks confused

"At first i had them as a form of protection, but now..just take them i don't think this enemies thing is worth ruining your life" i shrug and oh wow

Her eyes soften under my gaze and i can see tears forming in her eyes

"No one has ever done this for me. Trust me if any other student had these i would be already destroyed" she examine what i gave her and it seems like i reminded her of her dark past so i casually lean in

I wrap my arms around her and i pull her closer until i can feel every inch of her. She freeze at first but then i feel her hands rubbing my back

"I am so sorry you got through that" she whispers against my ear and i can feel her hot breath sending shivers down my spine

In response i grip at her shirt, the tears i tried to ignore come out at once and at first i feel embarrassed that until she whisper words of encouragement. Who knew Poppy would comfort me first? Her soft side is precious and i wish the world knew what a diamond she actually is

Once i calm i pull away slightly laughing, did i just cry on her expensive shirt?

"What's so funny?" She says rolling her eyes ready to snap at me but she actually smiles shyly

"I am sorry, i probably ruined your shirt"

"Shirts can be replaced Bea, but you cant" she gaze at my lips and oh my god did she really just say something so romantic to me?

I think she notices because she gasps but before she can defend herself i lean in and our lips crash. As our tongues touch i can feel all her ice cold walls melting against my mouth. At first i thought she would pull away but she pulls me closer savouring everything that i give her

She sighs happily against my lips and I can't hide my smile anymore "Did we really just did that?"

"If i knew you were a good kisser i would keep my enemies way closer" she winks at me and we both laugh. I relax completely because her company surprisingly makes me feel safe.

She takes my hand examining it, she runs her delicate fingers against my skin and wow its so soothing

"I want you to erase his touch" she says as she kisses my wrist, my shoulder and then my neck

I am flushed imaging where all this kindness comes from but for tonight i let my worries melt as her perfume fill my senses. Her kisses are soft and gentle, all her unspoken words slipping from her lips directly into my mouth.

"Will you hold me?" i whisper and she obeys opening her arms to me

"Who knew Poppy Min-Sinclair was a big spoon?"

"Oh shut up" she says as she holds me against her. I can feel her heartbeat and her even breathing makes me sleepy. Before i know it i pass out in her arms, where i find my safety and comfort

"I wont allow anyone to hurt you again" she says thinking i didn't listen but i did, smiling to myself like i fool the events of today are the least of my worries as i get lost in the warmth Poppy provides.

You sense the tension in the air, and quickly pull Lucien away from the balcony

“Goodnight Gavin! I’ll see you tomorrow!” (you’re basically using all your strength as you close the doors)

There’s silence in the room as Lucien’s just smiling at you

“Did you have fun today?”

“Ah! Yes! I did! Lots of fun!”

You sigh of relief (I guess he’s not going to ask about what he just saw)

Wow ok!!! So ik i dont shut the fuck up about lupin but wowowowow!!! He lives rent free in my brain and i think abt him and the boys a lot!! Lupins a funky little fella and i just!!! The way he walks, the way he talks, his hands, his voice, his charisma, his everything basically makes me go crazy ya know?

For whatever reason, lupin(the character and the series) was easy to latch on to even from the start which is a big ol green light in my dummy brain. Lupin as a character has already been a huge support to me since I got into it along with the others such as jigen and goemon but Lupin was the first one out of the gang i got attached to.

Jigen!!! Jigen has also become a huge comfort character to me!! Hes very nice once you strip back the layers of him[tm] and idk hes just so loyal to his group not jusy lupin!! Hes just an all around funny guy who i think deserves better more than half the time.

The way this man speaks destroys me anytime. I love how Richard Epcar (one of hus dub va’s and my favorite of his dub va’s) does an excellent job of conveying Jigen’s emotions during different situations and just some of the things he says make me happy...

Goemon time!! Goemon is a little harder to describe. Hes a very complicated person that doesnt share a lot abt himself but when he does its done in such a good way!! He’s extremely driven and motivated to learn more and better himself as a samurai and i appreciate that a lot. Hes also just funny!! Hes a silly lil boy sometimes and i like it!!

Zenigata!! I dont talk about him too much on here but oh ny g o d this man!! Hes also a very driven individual but he cares about lupin and his little gang!! Terminator Dark Fate Analysis Mexico Edition

Welcome to the Terminator Dark Fate Analysis Mexico Edition, where I’m going to dissect, comment and give my constructive criticism at every reference, landscapes, locations and well, everything that goes Mexican in this movie of ours.

  First things first: I just realized the version delivered to the mexican theaters is DIFFERENT to the rest of the world, why? Because the characters who originally speak Spanish are DUBBED AGAIN, like double dubbed. So ironically, in Mexico we couldn’t get to hear precious things like “no mames”, WE WERE DAMN ROBBED.

OK HERE WE GO:

That bridge is sending me, it really looks like a bridge from here or vial distributor like they call it in a more elegant way.

No, forget it. That kind of bridge doesn’t exist here but nice try, I appreciate that.

Here’s where something really funny starts because what they say doesn’t match with the subtitles at all hahaha 

The girl says “no mames” and it’s subtitled to “Oh my God” AND it was dubbed as “No inventes” hahaha this can’t be...

And here, the guy says “yo siento lo mismo”, it’s subtitled as “I feel it too” which is accurate but when they dubbed it they went with “¿y esos ojos?” lmao

Can’t forget to mention this ICONIC scene, of course.

The moment when the cops arrive reminds me of the meme where there’s some thiefs robbing something and the cops are asleep but there’s someone naked or doing something else and a fucking troop arrives, here is one example of the meme I’m talking about:

kidnappers - cops asleep, thiefs - cops asleep,narcos - cops asleep,an old lady selling flowers - the fucking troops.

And here’s the first mistake: the patrols have signs saying “policia municipal” and “cdmx” (Mexico City). In real life that’s impossible as “policia municipal” (municipal police) is one thing and “cdmx” is a totally different city, patrols can’t have both things but hey, the design is spot on.

"Eso estuvo padrísimo wey" hahsha lmao this time I prefer the dubbing where they go with “eso estuvo padrísimo, güera”, cause I like when they call Grace güera.

Never in my life I imagined I’d be alive to see this piece of art: Mackenzie with “Sí señor” playing in the background. The first time I saw this I was losing my shit even more cause Mackenzie was somewhere in the same room, probably watching the scene too. This is so powerful, wow.

This is sending me hashaha, in the dubbed versión the guy shouts at her “pinche gringa ratera” (fucking gringa thief or something) and it’s translated to “Go to hell lady” come on hahahaha so I prefer that over the original version, damn it I wish I could have a hybrid version of this cause is gold.

The heroic CDMX, fuck yessss! I would have loved to see the Popocatepetl. I’d like to think the suavicrema is in the background, so maybe is Chapultepec?. So what is a suavicrema? Could be like a brand of ice cream wafer and that tall building in the background looks like one, lol. Omg, ok I’ll stop.

Next: we can see doña pelos in here cooking her food. Doña pelos or doña lupe is how we call every lady who sells food in the street, so for practical effects this lady is doña pelos.

Here’s the proof we call them like that:

It translates: “So doña pelos is taking marketing courses” cause she’s using an Adobe logo to promote her food of the day, which is “adobo de cerdo” hahaha

Let’s move on.

No, it’s not “do you want your tamal”, it’s “tortita de tamal” aka the famous guajolota, that’s what she’s asking. A guajolota is “a sandwich composed of a tamal placed inside a bolillo or telera, which is a rounder version of a bolillo.” Yes, I got it from Wikipedia, don’t judge. 

Also, a lady selling garnachas (like quesadillas, etc.) AND tamales? That’s new.

She also sells mangos? Wowowowow that’s versatility. 

And “le robo un manguito” “can I steal a mango?” Dani, you have to pay for that, you can go to jail for like 30 years, I’m serious, remember the meme of the cops?

Someone said she may be a prostitute and I can’t even…so you can’t dress with whatever you want? But also I’m a little suspicious and she actually may be one depending on what zone is Dani supposed to live. 

A pink cab! I thought it was a Nissan Tsuru because they always are but this time it’s not. Missed opportunity, production design team.

Also some say the Rev-9 is driving a snow plow truck, is it? The only time it has snowed in Mexico City was in 1967, a long time ago.

Everything is screaming “circuito exterior”, yes I’m getting those vibes and I’m here for it.

Another pink cab is seen. Fun fact: because of its pink and white colors, we call them “hello kittys” and before that they were like wine color and gold so we called them “iron man”.

ROAD SIGN 1: Nextlalpan/Jaltenco haha on the opposite side of the road.

ROAD SIGN 2: Querétaro/Toluca/Tultitlán on the right side they’re driving

ROAD SIGN 1 again: first mistake fellas, now the sign is in the lane where they’re driving.

ROAD SIGN 3: Ecatepec/Texcoco, how do I know? I just do.

ROAD SIGN 4: This is my fave because in this one there's my shitty town hahaha SALIDA LECHERIA-TEXCOCO AV.JOSE LOPEZ PORTILLO Y COACALCO hahaha

It really looks like the circuit, I drive there a lot of times and Grace was there, destroying everything :')

Each and every one of the times I went to the theaters to watch this movie, in this scene everyone was like "ohhhh what? omg nooo" 

ROAD SIGN 4: Mistake number 3, the sign of Lecheria is shown again when the Grace truck had already passed there on the other side of the road.

ROAD SIGN 2: There's again the sign of Queretaro/ Toluca/Tultitlan when Grace's truck has already driven over there.

ROAD SIGN 5: Toluca/Lago de Guadalupe, remember? Lago de Guadalupe,  just like the microbus route sign.

Ohhh and the lady selling tamales her real life name is yes, you guessed it: Mona.
