Snacks! He favors pastries that aren't overly sweet and are kind of flaky, and also likes salty snacks. Doesn't want anything that could have too overwhelming of a flavor (spices like cinnamon or super sour candies).

Book (singular). (He is small and really doesn't have anything to carry things with! Just one is fine). He likes mystery, sci-fi, and fantasy the most. He'll also appreciate books on history/mythos. A book/story your character is willing to share is also fine!

Specialty foods/items outside of Sinnoh (Lava cookie, Casteliacone, etc.!) or an original item (food or otherwise) you think would fit a region. Items from different universes/worlds/settings work just as well. If you don't want to work with any of that, something spicy (as in food) will satisfy him well enough. You could get him a plush of something, too (genuinely).

Little virtual pet thing (like Tamagotchi). Genuinely, not a joke, he's curious and would like something as an occasional distraction.

Book on flora/plants (They're curious about seeing things from other regions/universes. A more traditional book describing them or a book with pressed flowers/leaves with handwritten notes can work!)

Something your character thinks is interesting/a personal treasure (they'll give it back if it's important/sentimental). If it's got a story behind it, they'll gladly listen!
