hello again! SecretSanta here! I looked through your blogs and comics and they are so cool!! your art is really good too! now about your RobotChara and Frisk.. How is their relationship with eachother (not romantically ofc) ? How does Frisk interact with the others? How are the two towards Kris? (sorry for a lot of questions, i want to properly get them to inertact each other without them being out of character)

and what are the odds, i have also an idea for RobotChara haha

ah thank you!! these are really open-ended questions so i'm gonna infodump a bit under the cut

the shortest way to describe chara & frisk's relationship in the robotchara au is "siblings" since they live together, share parents, etc, but they've only known each-other for a bit under three years, so they don't have the like,, sibling-language you get with people who grew up together. that said they are VERY close for people who met that recently

they're both really protective of the other but in kind of different ways. chara is very overtly protective - physically getting in between frisk and any perceived threats, yelling at people on their behalf, etc. frisk on the other hand kinda... sees their own feelings as a potential threat to chara's well-being, so they're pretty emotionally closed off from chara and try to shoulder everything on their own

that said frisk is pretty emotionally closed off from everyone - they've ended up confiding in chara more than anyone else, but only because chara is very insistent on getting frisk to admit something's wrong when they need to

um on that note with the others frisk is generally... quiet? like, even with their closest friends they're not super quick to talk (especially about themself), so they know the others a lot better than anyone else knows them. they don't joke much on their own, but they like being the straight-person to others' antics

(kris doesn't exist in the robotchara universe)

oh also like,, chara Does Not trust themself with important decisions and will almost always look to frisk for what to do when they're unsure, and if frisk tells them to do something they almost never object. kinda the only time chara will loudly disagree with frisk is when frisk is blatantly disregarding their own health and well being (which is. often). but in situations where they don't have to worry about themself, frisk is a very reliable person and handles those important decisions really well. that's part of why they can handle being the ambassador - they're good under pressure

i've put some thought into how they fight together too which kinda ties into that last point - robot body aside, frisk is the sturdier of the two while chara knows what they're doing in a way frisk doesn't. frisk hasn't gotten chara to help them fight much in this timeline (for... plot reasons) and is really good at avoiding conflicts and dodging attacks, but if a situation calls for actually dealing damage, that part is basically always up to chara. battles are actually one of the few times chara will put aside their protectiveness of frisk, because once frisk is taking things seriously the best chara can do to help is generally to go along with their plans

and that's kind of long and unwieldy but i dont have a fully functional word-brain rn so. let me know if any of it doesn't make sense or u have other questions and ty for giving me an excuse to ramble haha
