People really out here still trying to defend a game that was dead in the water after launch? But no...it only failed because the character design wasn't conventionally attractive rather than the shit story writing, shit dialogue and even shittier gameplay.

Toby came by with his mom, Mio. She had made a pot of soup to help her feel better.
Hikari has the flu (open rp)
Hikari was sick in bed with the flu. Her body aches, her nose is stuffy, her throat is sore. She felt sick as a dog and she was miserable.
She hated being sick. She couldnt play. She couldnt go to school. And she had to take yucky medicine.
Will you help take care of her?

Filipino writers may be unto something here, as I am seeing similarities between Jose Rizal's characters and Lualhati Bautista's (especially Dekada 70)
Their characters are from a privileged or middle class background with happy families and sweet lovelives. They are well-accepted in society that was crumbling in the background. Slowly, the people around them are acting erratic or dying, as they try to keep everything together in their minds, hoping that things will return to normal tomorrow. They know something is wrong in their society, but they'd like to think they can be spared. Until, even the people of similar standing are being targeted. Nobody is safe. They realize they should have fought from the very beginning, but what can they do? They have a family/lover to protect. They are now backed in the corner and they can't do anything.
This feeling is quite fundamental in being a Filipino. Something is wrong, we can feel it. However, we want to delude ourselves that we are safe, and that our beautiful life can go on as normal.
Are you a Rizalian character?
By no means you have a main character vibe, but you are greatly affected by the movers of society and it's either you hate it or you blind yourself from it.

Not to be rude or invasive or make y'all uncomfortable or anything, but where do y'all sleep? It's just that I know that Lithuania and America have slept in the same bed before.

Tolys: I'm used to sharing a space anyway, so I didn't mind when I moved in! It's convenient for everyone I suppose.
**Historical Note: Alfred has kept this home since the 1840s-1850s, a little before Molly came to the United States again. He did this because of the upheaval at the time near Washington D.C. and the personal convenience of living in New York. If D.C. is America's head, New York City is its heart after all.
There were a variety of architectural styles becoming popular at this time such as Italianate, Neoclassical, Georgian Revival, Beaux-Arts, and Gothic Revival. Many of the large homes built in New York City by the newly wealthy around this period were in the Beaux-Arts and Georgian Revival styles. I picture Alfred's home being in the Georgian Revival style like the Carnegie Mansion or the Willard D. Straight House.
Alfred's home is certainly downsized from the scale of these mansions, but has many of the rooms typical of an upper-class home of the late 19th-early 20th century. These homes were typically three to four floors, with the first floor being for entertaining company and for leisure. The reception room was for receiving guests and leaving calling cards if the homeowner was not available, while the drawing room was for entertaining guests or for the family to relax in. It was also typical for these homes to have a small-scale dining room for less formal family meals such as breakfast and a more formal dining room for entertaining guests in the evening. This smaller scale dining area was also typically where children ate when these evening events were held, and they were usually not permitted at the formal table until they reached their late teens.
Floors for guests to sleep and for the family were often separated, and in many cases the children slept on a separate floor from the adults. In very wealthy homes, there was usually a floor or space reserved for servants' quarters and passages for staff to move around the house in without being seen. In upper-class households, the husband and wife often had separate but connected rooms. This wasn't necessarily out of personal modesty, but more for the modesty of the servants who might be helping them dress. Here, Alfred and Tolys use it more for convenience. In lower-class households, it was still perfectly common and acceptable for a couple to share a room and bed.
There's certainly more that could be said about the layout of these homes, and I based these floor plans off of several historic homes I've visited and floor plans I researched online. Therefore, if there are inaccuracies or if there's anything I overlooked, my apologies!

Nyo Italy headcanons
Disclaimer! Whilst I try and take a more culturally accurate approach to most of my portrayals, Angelica is just portrayal that exists solely to have fun with. Cultural and historical accurate has never been my priority with her.
Angelica is obsessed with cats, you could call her a crazy cat lady. She owns two Siamese cats called Luca and Stella. There was.. an attempt at a theme.
She spoils those cats rotten, pampers them constantly, and is always buying different outfits to put them in. They are her babies.
Whilst I wouldn’t say Angelica is an outdoorsy person, she definitely loves being outside in the warm Italian sunshine. The sun is what gives her life, it’s what keeps her so happy. Without it, her mood would be constantly low and deflated.
Whilst regular hws italy is depicted as lazy, I personally see Angelica as a very active person. Considering how well-ranked Italy is in so many different sports. Personally, I think she leans towards tennis especially, but she also enjoys cycling around different cities and countrysides.
She is, of course, a painter. One of the best you could ever meet. Painting is something she’s always loved, and always will love. She doesn’t just stop at painting canvases, she’s paint on anything if she thinks it looks too plain. Her wardrobe is a masterpiece 😍
She is a wonderful cook and baker.
I imagine Angelica is one of the girls who just seems unnaturally good at everything, however, driving is where it all goes to pot. Do not get in the car with her if you value your life. It’s a miracle her license hasn’t been taken off her.
She also owns her own little yellow Vespa (which she has painted), and whilst she’s better on that than she is driving a car.. I still wouldn’t risk it personally.
She probably has a jellycat collection
If you say 1 word in Italian to her, she will immediately act like your best friend. She gets so excited!!
Angelica needs glasses for shorter distances! Things like reading, paintings, etc.
