I need to come clean that I have stopped watching SVU after S22, Sightless in a Savage Land”, and I will now be going back & re-watching all the Rafael Barba episodes on loop. I will not be taking questions at this time.

Headcanon: There’s this out-of-the-way club. It’s sophisticated but laid back. When Rafa has to work he goes to Forlini’s but when he wants to relax he goes to the club. Some people at the club know who he is but to everyone else, they just know him as Rafa, the friendly man in the nice suits who has such a wonderful voice and can always be persuaded to sing. The only person he knows at the club from what he likes to call his “real life” is Rita Calhoun and he likes it that way because it means he can just be himself. He doesn’t know that Sonny Carisi discovered the club by accident a few months ago and was stunned both by Rafa’s singing and by the way he is such a different person in this environment. Since then Sonny has stalked him and can often be found in the shadowy corner table near the back trying to get up the courage to ask Rafa out.
