its just insane. like ive lived here my whole life and never once even lost power during a storm until now. places ive never seen get flooded, totally underwater. the gulf of mexico brought to peoples doorsteps, so much loss, just ppl all around me who have had everything quite literally washed away overnight. ive never seen anything like it. people whove been here since the 70s telling me the same thing too, that its never been this bad- that we havent had flooding so severe in around 60 years. a kid i rarely worried abt hurricanes but ever since ~2016 theres been around 1 hurricane or tropical storm that hits per year and its becoming MULTIPLE per season in recent years.... and its really tragic thinking that this is happening before my eyes and i just have to sit by and watch as the place i love and grew up in is devastated by these disasters, never the same again. this storm tore through nearly the entire southeast which is absurd to me, i dont think I've ever seen one go that far inland in my lifetime with such horrible destruction the entire way. but sure, climate change isnt real. uh huh.

In today’s broke ass college student news: Have you ever woken up at 2am and realized you’ve barely eaten today? And on top of your pounding headache, you forgot to go shopping for the last 3 weeks? Well, have I got the treat for you! Try

Rock-Bottom-Ramen!

Step one: Retrieve a package from your stash of ramen from the otherwise empty cabinet. Break your ramen in half, and then into four pieces to fit into your cheap $2 bowl.

Step two: Fill with unfiltered sink water and add an instant bouillon chicken cube.

Step three: Put it in the microwave for 6 ish minutes.

Step four: Walk down the hall to the dorm vending machine and get a bag of Cheetos, but only after you’ve stopped crying that your school ID card doesn’t work, forcing you to use your debit card instead, because the internet is still out.

Step five: Try not to dissociate while you wait for the ramen to finish.

Step six: When the ramen is done, drain the water and don’t even bother with the flavor packet. Dump the Cheetos on top and mix.

Step seven: Reconsider all of your life choices, and lament how you’ll be 20 in less than 3 months.

Step eight: Eat the ramen quickly before the Cheetos get soggy.

Step nine: Realize they are already soggy because you spent too long lamenting and reconsidering your life choices.

Step ten: Eat it anyway, and try not to cry as you watch another ManlyBaddassHero video.

AuDHD is so funny sometimes like what do you mean my hyperfixations/special interests will last for years on end or possibly forever but they will cycle out every month or two with absolutely no transitional period or warning. like i will think about the same topic every day obsessively for 46 days in a row and on the 47th day with no visible cause adhd brain goes "ok! bored of that now" and autism brain goes "dw i got something queued up for ya" and i blast into full blown obsession on some other topic whose mental file folders haven't opened in 9 months. brain's out here treating hyperfixations like a crop rotation. once the dopamine runs out it cycles in another one but once something's in the rotation it never ever leaves. last summer we brought in one from when i was 11. it's so funny to me but frustrating too bc like. i cannot stress enough my inability to predict or control this. or how completely abrupt and random it can be

I've been playing w the idea that the more Danny transforms, the more his ghost form gets "lively" while his human form gets weaker and more sickly. He knows that if he keeps transforming like this then, one day, he's not going to have a livable body to go back to, but he really doesn't want to think about all that. He's more interested in the weird "totally dead but not dead" Wayne son who may or may not have a thing for his sister.

everytime i do one these im like "this time I'll keep it simple so I don't have to suffer through colouring bc I have zero foresight—it'll be greyscale at most" and then all of the sudden its 4am and i'm trying to finish a stupid comic but i decided to add "some" colour to spice it up and hide my shitty ink job and then SOME COLOUR ALWAYS BECOMES FULL COLOUR WHY CAN I NOT ESCAPE THIS STUPID CYCLE!!

(did this all stem from me not being able to decide between a super pale character design and one w a vibrant tan bc I love white hair + tan but I also love extremely pale albino so I forced myself to find a way to make both work? never! that's absurd!)
