Às dez horas da noite em 19 de outubro de 1997, Oh Jiho nasceu aquecendo o coração da família influente coreana, conhecida por entrelaçar amor ao próximo e música em seu sangue. A mãe era uma talentosa musicista clássica, enquanto o pai ocupava o prestigioso cargo de Superintendente, assim como as gerações anteriores que moldaram o destino de Busan. Desde pequeno, demonstrava um senso profundo de responsabilidade e bondade aos mais fracos, algo que sempre diziam ter puxado de seu lado paterno.

Além de enxergar seu pai como um herói, ele também tinha seu irmão mais velho como sua inspiração. Jiyong - seu irmão - havia se tornado um investigador de homicídios recentemente e contava detalhes da sua rotina. Mas tudo mudou quando Jiyong desapareceu misteriosamente. O caso não só abalou sua família, como deixou Jiho com um profundo vazio em sua vida, jurando que um dia descobriria o que aconteceu com o irmão.

Assim que se formou no ensino médio com excelência, decidiu ingressar na Universidade Nacional Coreana de Polícia para cumprir com sua promessa. Em quatro anos, estava formado e iniciando sua carreira na polícia, Oh ficou conhecido por sua maturidade e liderança nata, sua determinação na busca por justiça e seu desejo cego de ajudar as vítimas; ele é uma inspiração para os colegas. Mas muitos também sabem da sua insubordinação e vontade que criminosos sejam castigados por seus atos, o que torna muitas abordagens intensas e até mesmo perigosas.

Diferente de muitos na organização, ele subia rapidamente de nível e os novos privilégios eram utilizados para encontrar pistas sobre o paradeiro do irmão, mas nunca achou nada concreto. No entanto, essa busca implacável por respostas o levou a descobrir um segredo horrível. Durante uma batida policial em Yeonji-dong, Jiho tropeçou em evidências que sugeriam que seu próprio pai, o atual Chefe da Polícia da Coreia do Sul, era corrupto e tinha ligações com criminosos poderosos. Imediatamente suspeitou que seu irmão havia descoberto algo antes de sumir porque seu pai nunca deu muita atenção ao caso do próprio filho.

Movido pela sede de justiça e o anseio em encontrar o irmão, ele decidiu confrontar o pai. Em vez de negar ou admitir qualquer envolvimento, Kihong - seu pai - usou sua influência para mantê-lo calado, o transferindo para Seul usando seu histórico de violência como justificativa. Estar em uma cidade agitada e ser enganado pelo pai trouxe incertezas para vida de Jiho, contudo, ele conseguiu se reencontrar ao receber uma pista anônima sobre o último paradeiro de seu irmão: Acropolis Complex.

Morando no Tartaros assim como seu irmão que desapareceu, ele vive uma vida aparentemente tranquila na nova comunidade, onde é amado pelos vizinhos e respeitado pelos colegas de trabalho. Jiho acredita que está progredindo por mérito próprio, perto de desvendar o mistério que envolve seu irmão e desmascarar a corrupção de seu pai, alheio ao fato de estar exatamente onde seu pai deseja.

random facts

he was accepted into university as a full-ride student, majoring in music production because he's always been very much interested in music theory and composition. originally he wanted to be creative writing major, but he figured this was the best way to both be musically creative as well as express himself through writing lyrics as well.

frequents the library all the time because during his first year, he had really rowdy roommates and despite now living alone, he's used to studying outside of his dorm. he uses his dorm as recording studio and mostly only sleeps there and relaxes. it's a 'safe space' and he doesn't usually 'taint' it with homework or anything. but he does like to draw/sketch in his dorm and the walls are covered with things he's created over the years, though he would consider his specialty to be water colours/oils and not anything with a pencil.

would technically be considered both a nerd and a teacher's pet, but he's generally loved for it because he likes to help everyone out despite being an introvert. he's most definitely a TA for music production and he helps everyone out in anyway that he can.

if he gets any hate on campus it's definitely because he's a goody-two-shoes and he has a general reputation for that but also because people think he's handsome and have the assumption that he's useless but when it comes to attention that he's smart too, people get annoyed

he's most definitely part of the student council and has a good reputation for being reliable. i imagine that he would probably be a good event coordinator because he's very punctual and very organized.

he bleached his hair blonde and then almost immediately decided to stay blonde forever. he only let his hair grow out because he honestly forgot to get a haircut, and it's kinda become his signature look so he doesn't really plan on cutting it. though, since he's always working on stuff, he usually keeps it out of his face in a half up ponytail. if he's at home though, he has a fluffy cinnamoroll hairband to keep his hair out of his face when he's painting or working on anything.

had a crush on @lgckai for ages when they met in a class and was very pleasantly surprised when he "accidentally" confessed and had that confession accepted. jiho is still kinda in shock about it and randomly gets happy thinking about him.
