fuck it life series idea yap ramble

I've been thinking about it for ages but I think a life series based on skyblock would be such a fun concept and I've genuinely done so much thinking about how it could work

First of all the islands layout: In a giant spread out circle there are enough islands for every player to spawn on and that is each of the players "home" island. Within the outer ring there is a larger central island.

On everyone's home island, there is a "magic chest" (I can't name things shhh) with similar vibes to the secret keeper - that being to provide the players and watch over the game. On the first session it contains a sapling (every player has a different kind so if you want multiple types of wood to build with you have to make friends or steal), a couple of blocks of iron, and an infinite supply of concrete (every player had their own colour - this is used as a building block to get around). Then on session 2 it contains more iron, gravel (for flint and steel) and a few lava buckets, then one or two diamonds.

I really like this idea as it removes the grind that multiple players have talked about (the basically mandatory time you need to spend mining for diamonds) as well as encouraging teamwork and sharing of limited resources, while still allowing some farming yourself - eg hostile mob farms.

In this series enderpearls and water buckets would be a key to survival, making the ability of trading with piglins in the nether a risky, but extremely useful strategy.

In terms of lives, I cannot decide between the original 3 lives, red yellow green system, or increasing it to a larger number as the amount of deaths from falling off would be higher though, however I have thought of a workaround - the boogeyman gives life. With this system, not only will the boogey be cured when they successfully make their kill but they will in practice steal their life. I don't know if this would completely solve the issue of lives but idk I think it would help
