This can be phrased better but I just love the fact that for all of Eun Yoo’s convenient knowledge of the past and for all of Eun Gyeol’s meticulous scheming and plotting, all of that actually does very little to change history. The major events of their parents’ lives still happen, and all the stuff that Eun Gyeol and Eun Yoo do accomplish is either an accident or a result of loving their (found) family hard enough to counteract any existing hate.

#like idk the fact that they accomplish stuff by being dumb teenagers and not strategists #very special to me #funny too that the stuff they’re unable to change is because it originally happened as a direct result of unselfish love #it’s hardwired into all of them #oh and the fact that Cheongchan get together with almost NO help from eun gyeol #a testament to the fact that they’d be okay no matter what #I think realizing that must’ve helped with eun gyeol’s feelings of remorse #elly's posts #twinkling watermelon #day 230925 of twinkling watermelon obsession
