So for the hunger games SBG au I was thinking about what districts everyone would be from so here is that:

Aiden: district 1, career like I said in the og post, he’s fully aware that this whole thing is bullshit and isn’t as indoctrinated as other careers, he volunteers for the games not for honor or glory.

Ben: district 2, career, follows Aidens lead as he does in the comics and volunteers, also not super indoctrinated, hates the games but figures maybe he can keep some other poor sap from going for at least one more year.

Ashlyn: I’m thinking district 8, literally don’t ask me why I don’t know. She’s the child of victors and when her name gets picked, no one steps in, she may not be a career but has money and training because of her parents.

Logan: district 3, not a career district, his name gets drawn and no one steps up, people underestimate him because of his meek nature.

Tyler and Taylor: district 7 lumber, because of Tyler’s … experience… with trees.

That’s it that’s the only reason they are district 7 I’m being so dead ass. But after losing their father their mother got lost in grief and Tyler stepped in to take care of his sister and mother (hey I’m only just now seeing the actual parallels with Katniss). He puts his name in more times to get them food, expects his name to get called but when Taylor’s does he begs someone to do something, to volunteer, when no one does and it comes to picking the male tribute, before they can even read the name Tyler volunteers to protect Taylor.

Can you tell that Tyler is my favorite character?

Little full, lots of sap.”  “There’s no sap, Eddie.”  Eddie’s smile tumbles down. “It’s a movie reference,” he says. “You know, Clark Griswold? ‘Merry Christmas! Shitter’s full!’”  Buck shakes his head, puckering his nose at Eddie’s horrid impression. “I don’t get it.”  He sighs. “Yeah, I know, and that’s terrible,” he mutters, adding another tally on the list in his head of the reasons he doesn’t like the Buckley parents. It’s a Christmas classic. “We’re going to fix that soon, though, so don’t worry that pretty little head of yours.”  Buck makes a face, shrugs his shoulders, turns back around to inspect the triplets, and—and Eddie can’t take it anymore, okay? He just can’t. He’s all dressed up, and Buck is, too, and they’ve been waiting so long to have this little outing, and he can’t handle seeing Buck not enjoy himself any longer.  “Buck, what’s going on?” he asks, striding forward and reaching for Buck now that he has a hand free. Buck’s fingers are cold, chilled little things that make Eddie wince. He wraps them up as best as he can.
