Oh, I got one for that. People who hyperfixate and obsess over things like the history, timeline and lore of the series are seriously missing the point of the series. It's called The Legend of Zelda, not The Factual History of Zelda. Plus, it's just pretty obvious that Nintendo doesn't really care for these things, either, since they just focus on gameplay.

How about some 🔥 for Norman? His character in general or one instance you'd really like to talk about. You being a Ray stan makes me think you have opinions on the white boy and they are sure great.

tbh you may be disappointed i genuinely do not know what it is but i could just. never get super attached to him and therefore hold no particularly strong feelings abt him?? i do think he is a good and interesting character but i just. do not think about him that much. i guess that could be considered an unpopular opinion in itself though considering he is easily the fandom's golden boy so i still win <3

if i really dig i can think of how people blow his crush on emma way out of proportion <3 he is not obsessed with her and hes definitely not possessive or creepy over her (the parody manga can also die for this some of the shit he says is just genuinely gross and he is the main reason i could not get past chapter 3 lol) he is just. a boy with a crush. his actions aren't for emma's good alone but for the good of all the children he tasked himself with protecting. he loves ray just as much as emma even if its a different kind of love and honestly i don't think he would even mind that much if emma didn't reciprocate his feelings. he likes her not just romantically but just. in general and hes happy being with her no matter what kind of relationship it is. ok i'll admit despite not thinking abt him much i do have strong opinions on popular fanon characterizations just because so many people get him wrong. not a norman stan but an ally <3

NorRayEmma brainrot please! - what do you think would their live together be as soon as they are no longer on the run and finally settled for good? Like who does which cores in the household and how would they share their freetime?

OUGH okay well, assuming this is where emma keeps her memories, i always picture all of the kids in a bigass house. like how they were in grace field typa huge except they all have their own rooms etc. if we're talking later down the line when the kids are older and REN etc dont have to live w them, i still kinda default to them living in a place similar to where they settle post canon. i could also see REN being the type to live in an rv or smth and travel the world, but i also couldn't see them Not having a forever home, considering how long they had to go constantly moving, so it's an internal battle ejkjbenmx.

obviously ray would do the cooking, low hanging fruit etc. bc he does the cooking emma and norman do the dishes, i default to them doing it one washes one dries and then putting them up together just bc. efficiency AKJHDK. i think even when theyd all live together theyd have their own spaces/rooms (just bc everyone needs their own space i know i go crazy when i dont have mine for a long period of time) so they would handle their own clothes, but if not i see norman doing the folding, emma the hanging, and ray handles starting the wash/dry cycles. sweeping/mopping + bathroom stuff and anything else would probably just alternate, bc people dont tend to find those calming the way they might folding clothes or doing dishes skjdbkweb

im not sure if the aforementioned traveling would fall into free time, but i think they would travel a lot. probably also volunteer at shelters and such (especially emma since the other two are CEOing it up lmao) all of them really love to read so i think theyd have library dates, maybe pick out books for eachother and exchange them. OUGH i think they would kick ass at escape rooms. theyd somehow find a way to do them on their own and see who could beat it fastest once theyve done them all together akdnkr. i can also see them taking classes together (like painting classes and such, leisurely things they didnt need to survive in the demon world) i can totally see them watching trivia game shows and falling over each other guessing answers and shit. speed run the last century of pop culture to beat your partners in who gets the most trivia right AKJDBND

What sort of occupation do you think Norman would like?

I'm very biased by @officersnickers and @salsae and either see him as a doctor of some sort (default to pediatrician) or a university professor/researcher. Something that can incorporate his affinity for mathematics and science, provide him with mental stimulation and challenges, and allow him to achieve recognition on a global stage if he so desires without throwing away his empathy and humanity.

I feel like that last element is a big thing for a lot of people given what he went through at Lambda. The worst year and some odds month of his life had him isolated away from his family in a cage, alone, and he suffered greatly for it.

It's an idea that's illustrated so poignantly in the chapter 128 cover art. Ray has become so much warmer and devoted to his friends and family after being afforded the chance to hope "for a future that is like a dream" and to care for them openly under Emma's tutelage, heart a wellspring of love and empathy. They're all shaping each other while he's left to wither, and the cunning and ruthlessness that save him almost lead him to a point irrevocable (by the narrative's standards; for some, he passes it).

It's hard to ascertain what capacity a CEO operates in in this future, what ethical standards there are and what boundaries he sets for himself on top of the vast range of industries they dabble in, but that he's tied up in it at all with all the negative connotations surrounding the role and potential exploitation involved after overturning fate itself and restructuring a world order leaves a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths, even with the simplicity and flexibility it affords in explaining away financial woes.

For Ray, I have such a big soft spot for him being a librarian and rekindling his childhood love of reading under kinder circumstances and sharing it with future generations, but with his aptitude for science that Shirai mentions in the mystic code book and we see crop up throughout the story

there's a lot of possibilities for him too, though out of the trio I feel he'd be the least likely one to entertain the spotlight.

But maybe an architect who blends art and science together to construct a community given one of the things he wanted to do in the human world with his family was see the Sagrada Família (another one influenced by Snickers).

Interestingly, I've yet to stumble across any fanfics or headcanons where he becomes a professional chef, and I wonder how much of that is a shared sentiment of viewing cooking as part of his love language that he'd rather stay personal, something he only does for his friends and family rather than making a career out of it.
