yeah people have a right to feel disappointed w chappell for canceling shows presumably for larger venues and the VMAs— especially at such a short notice. you don’t have to agree with everything your fav does. but the way some people are acting like she’s a hypocrite because she has the AUDACITY to set her boundaries, express her frustration with having been harassed, doxxed, and stalked by fans, extending to her own family, and want basic privacy, like that’s SOMEHOW mutually exclusive to this… oh, she told intrusive fans to back off, but wants to play to more of them?? god, what an attention seeker.

have your feelings but. can we please be normal about people we don’t know and their right to go about peacefully this is not the gotcha you think it is
