just a few bat/chuuoku parallels:

hitoya and otome are players of the law. tho they’ve both twisted the law for their own reasons, at the root they both seek justice against violences that have personally affected them in some way

jyushi found identity in his music much of the same way ichijiku found her identity in chuuoku. music was one of the things that saved jyushi and he changed his looks, adopted a different voice and personality in the name of that music. similarly, otome’s vision was one of the things that kept ichijiku afloat and so she changed her looks and adopted a different voice and personality for it

lately kuukou’s story is explicitly being told it’s one marred with violence, just as nemu’s life was. both of them have had to prove to their caretakers that their chosen paths are the correct paths for them, even tho those paths are almost complete opposites from theirs. both have similarly come to face with the difficulties walking your own path
