ugh all I can think of lately is Fleetway!Sonourge. good job on spreading that to me

also thinking about the Freedom Fighters protecting Scourge from Zonic when he shows up. like, him trying to arrest all of them for hiding and protecting a criminal and all. how do you think the FFs would overcome him?

It would take a while for the zone cops to even come to the conclusion Scourge is hiding in the fleetway dimension, tbh. He's good at running from the cops, and knows lots of places to hide. It's difficult to track him down when he's not actively causing trouble, and the fleetway universe is quite a ways away from the dimensions he normally hangs around in. The zone cops are expecting him to show up in Moebius, or try to take over the Prime dimension again. They aren't going to be looking in the dimension with the evil Super Sonic that's thousands of miles away, because why would he be there? Even once they do investigate there, they're probably initially be inclined to take Sonic's word for it when he says Scourge isn't there. Zonic knows this Sonic hates lookalikes, after all. It would take a while for them to genuinely suspect the fleetway universe

Usually when Zonic shows up, the first thing they do is hide Scourge, which can range from hiding him elsewhere in the dimension (special zone included) or finding a way to get him out altogether, and he'll find somewhere else to hide until they leave again. The zone cops can't actually arrest him if he isn't there, and they can't prove the freedom fighters have been hiding him, since, well, he doesn't legally exist in the fleetway universe. The best they can do is ask around to see if anyone has seen him, but Sonic is always quick to point out that anyone could be a green hedgehog in a leather jacket. Metamorphia did turn into a green hedgehog, once. Without seeing Scourge with their own two eyes, the zone cops have no way to prove the green hedgehog in a leather jacket is Scourge and not someone else.

"Everyone around here is an idiot," Sonic will sneer if Zonic tries to point out that he showed a picture of Scourge to some civilians and they said they recognised him. "They'll mix any hedgehog up. Someone mistook Amy for me, once."

Technically, the circumstantial evidence is enough to bring Sonic and the other freedom fighters in, but there's always the risk of him turning into Super, if we pick the part of the timeline where they're one person. He's harmless if they get the collar around him, it's just getting the collar around him without being vaporised that's the tricky part. Even if they're separate people, well, if Sonic is gone, who will stop Super if he goes out of control?

If the zone cops decide to bring them in anyway, well. The freedom fighters are freedom fighters. They're going to fight, and they're going to fight dirty. Sonic alone is a pain in the ass (and, again, a huge risk if he and Super are one person) but everyone else will make it even worse. The cops could subdue them eventually, but... ultimately, I think they find it more trouble than it's worth to bring them in, especially when they have no surefire way to prove Scourge has anything to do with them. And if the freedom fighters were arrested, Scourge would work his ass off to bust them out. It could be a good way to trap him, but Scourge has escaped from prison once before, they don't want it to happen again

Ultimately, I think they decide to bide their time. There are other criminals to take care of, and they can't really spare the resources to go hunting for Scourge when he isn't even causing any trouble aside from "already being a wanted criminal", so they decide it's better to periodically check in to see if they can catch him unaware or wait until he causes a big enough problem to give them justification to go knocking on the door and arrest the lot of them. Unfortunately for them, the freedom fighters are protective, and will make sure that never happens

Sonadowtober 2024 Day 15

Day 15 was swords

This pic is pre-Sonadow & takes place when Venice is a baby possibly an one year old. At this point only those close with Sonic are aware that Venice is Sonic's son with Rouge, Knuckles(both having a baby daughter of their own), Big, Vanilla & Tails helping him with preparing to become a single parent.(Eggman caused Mephiles to disappear when Sonic first became pregnant & Sonic at some point was forced to accept he might be dead) Outsiders are made to believe he's started babysitting Venice with Vanilla helping him when needed.

Something led to Shadow ending up staying the night at Sonic's with Sonic finally feeling like they're close enough to admit Venice is his son & the father is possibly dead thanks to Eggman. Sonic decides to show Shadow a room he keeps items from past adventures as mementos so Shadow can see a replica sword of Caliburn who Sonic still thinks about. While Shadow already respected Sonic he feels even more respect for Sonic after this "sleepover" & can't help but feel like they're alike thanks to having lost many people that they were close with.

I kind of imagine Sonic has a wooden replica(maybe metal or some other material, he can still use it to fight but it's still used for display) he made of Caliburn, this was kind of inspired by a fic were Shadow was caring for Sonic while Sonic was sick & Sonic mistook him for Lancelot.(LINK) Sonic had a replica of Caliburn because after his adventures in Camelot it felt like something was missing without Caliburn.

There's a non-Sonadow fic called "Once a King, Always a King" were the knights due to Eggman end up in Sonic's time & go for him for help before searching for their swords who escaped so Eggman couldn't use them. In the fic Sonic is reunited with Caliburn but it's Caliburn from modern day & not from the knights' time which allows Sonic to keep his sword/friend instead of having to say goodbye when the knights return home. I was almost tempted to be inspired by that to let Sonic have Caliburn but then I realized like with Zonic & Scourge I wasn't sure what to do with him so he's not here.

Back on topic I imagine Sonic has a replica he built of Caliburn so he can in a way have him around in a sense. I imagine he likely has a dagger that can turn into a sword so he can use a sword again(with it also being portable since swords are tricky to carry around all the time) but it's not as detailed & this is going off topic. I also imagine Sonic has a room somewhere that he keeps some cherished mementos of past friends/adventures so he can keep the items safe which is why he doesn't wear Chip's collar as a bracelet after Sonic Unleashed. I don't have a design for the room so this looks a little lazy, I just wanted to show some of the items like the replica sword, Chip's collar/necklace & the seashell bracelet Amy made him in Sonic X.(I have the bracelet hanging but he likely put it in a more safe area later)

I'm also not sure if I mentioned this but I imagine Sonic and the Black Knight took place in the past with their history being changed over time & some things lost to time so people don't realize the Round Table was a group of mobians. I also imagine one of Sonic's adopted parents'(Sonic Underground) possessions that survived is a large painting of Lancelot with Coraline(my OC/alternate universe Sonic who is Lancelot's wife & Galahad's mom) in armor which was Sonic's favorite painting as a kid. He's likely taking it back to his memory room when he finds out about the location of his adopted parents' burnt down house were the cellar/bomb shelter is.

Dimension TNL-2015 - Quill Society HQ -Two weeks following More than One Universe-

After getting a meeting call from Tekno, EV!Sonic, EV!Tails and LM!Sonic headed to the meeting chamber where Tekno was.

EV!Sonic: What's the issue, Tek?

Tekno: Very bad news, I'm afraid.

EV!Tails: What happened?

Tekno: I was monitoring Dimension OLD-2014, and... the monster causing trouble there pretty much wiped everything clean.

E-21 was trying to scan for anything remaining there.

EV!Sonic: Is there anything left of that set of dimensions, Elise?

E-21: Very barely. Respiro's destruction erased almost every fragment of them, and all that's left is some kind of fusion landscape.

EV!Sonic: Not good. I knew LM was adamant on letting things flow as they're intended to, but we need to see if there's any survivors left in that mess aside from the three warriors.

LM!Sonic: Honestly... I agree with you there, EV. Respiro deserved his destruction and erasure. Urgh, I hate that scourge...

Tekno: I'm detecting something. A couple of barely identifiable signals within what's left of OLD-2014. One of them sounds similar to OMT Mina, while the other...

EV!Sonic: We may need a small group to investigate what's left of the space and try to get whoever's still stuck there back out to safety.

Tekno: Right.

EV!Tails: Why don't we go together, Sonic? We could bring Cosmo along as well.

EV!Sonic: Buddy, I like the way you think. You sure you've got enough stamina for once we get in there?

EV!Tails: You got it!

LM!Sonic: I'll come, too. If anything, I want to make up for failing to save those from my own dimension.

EV!Sonic: Very well, LM.

Dimension OLD-2014 - ???????????????????????

A little later, the team arrived in the dimension, seeing how it was flat-out an amalgamation of various assets in its remaining state.

EV!Cosmo: Gosh... This place really does look a mess.

Zonic: Toy box components, furniture, Arabian architecture... Is this all floating here what's left of the dimensions?

EV!Tails: Sure looks like it, after what Respiro did. Doesn't really explain the whole object floating thingy, though. These don't even have a stable state to keep them bound, and there sure doesn't look like there's much safe ground here, considering how the collision's constantly shifting.

LM!Sonic: Are you detecting any survivors around here, Tails?

EV!Tails: I've picked up six signals, but... not all together. Three of them seem to be... corrupted. Good thing I brought my Data Restorer device on me.

EV!Sonic: Let's go check on the corrupted bunch first. They're gonna need our help.

EV!Tails and Zonic carried them down to where the broken data was, noticing some familiar silhouettes around where the data was trying to reconnect.

EV!Tails: Is that Amy there?

EV!Sonic: And Jasmine and Abu, too. Is this what became of them after Respiro's universal wipe?

LM!Sonic: Well, we'd better restore their data quickly.

EV!Tails: I'm on it!

Tails aimed his device at them, the flash rebuilding their code and restoring them to their old selves.

O77!Amy: H-Huh? Where...?

O77!Jasmine: What is this place?

EV!Sonic: You okay there?

O77!Amy (noticing EV!Sonic): Sonic!

She quickly ran into EV!Sonic's arms and hugged him close, quietly sobbing.

EV!Sonic: H-Hey. What's wrong?

O77!Amy: I... I wasn't strong enough, Sonic... I thought I could stop the t-thing possessing you, but...

EV!Tails: Easy there, Amy. You're safe now. Well, kinda.

She loosened the hug after a moment, wiping her tears and taking a moment to look at the Sonic before her.

O77!Amy: You're... not my Sonic, are you?

EV!Sonic: I'm afraid not, but we have come here to get you, Jasmine and Abu to safety.

O77!Amy (genuinely curious): Huh? Jasmine and Abu?

She looked back at the two foreigners.

O77!Jasmine: That's us!

O77!Abu: Hello!

O77!Amy: Oh! Nice to meet you two!

O77!Jasmine: How did we get into this... magical dimension, though? Last thing I remember, I got crushed under some debris from the palace.

EV!Sonic: Part of Respiro's act, guys.

O77!Amy: You... know the monster that corrupted my Sonic?

EV!Tails: Afraid so, Amy.

EV!Sonic: Your dimension was the last one he attacked, Amy, and after turning you into his servant after preying on your insecurities, he sent his new slaves to attack Jasmine's world, alongside the world where all the modern-day furniture's from.

Abu was in a thinking pose, trying to process what was going on.

O77!Jasmine: That must explain Aladdin's seeming "dream" before.

LM!Sonic: No wonder. That was when Respiro attempted to possess him, though he fought the scourge off the first time.

EV!Cosmo: Hang on... There's you guys from two of the affected dimensions, but... there's nobody present from the last of those three worlds.

O77!Amy: What was the other one? From what I recall hearing in my sealed mind, Respiro mentioned the first who opposed him was from plains of scorching sand, which is where Jasmine and Abu are from, while the other "adorned old western garb". But if the other's from Western heritage, I don't see much stuff related to it around here, except... maybe that cardboard box styled like a Western bank.

EV!Tails: Well, that's because he's a sentient toy, who, like those from the room where all this furniture came from, only came to life when humans weren't looking. He ended up being the second host of Respiro and used to slay the toys as a result of Woody's past jealousy against Buzz Lightyear.

O77!Amy: I still don't get it. How could Respiro even kill toys when they're not made of flesh and bone compared to us?

Zonic: It's because Respiro altered their reality to cheat that fundamental rule and allow him to gain power from the kills.

O77!Amy: Ah, right.

EV!Tails: Oh! Sorry to interrupt the conversation, but I've picked up the other three signals close by. They must be the three who stopped Respiro!

O77!Jasmine: Then we don't have much time to lose. Let's go find them!

Zonic shot a beam to the ground that formed a light bridge for the non-fliers to safely navigate together.

Zonic: That's our safe route through this realm. Everyone, let's get moving!

During their walk, EV!Tails was having a chat with O77!Amy about what had happened.

EV!Tails: Being under Respiro's grasp must've been scary, huh?

O77!Amy: Yeah... I guess it explains Sonic suddenly declaring that he hated me, which... was what drove me into depression...

EV!Tails: Hey, I know your Sonic would never have really hated you. I mean, he had your back the whole way before the disappearances started happening, right?

O77!Amy: Yeah, I guess so... Even after I died, I could still hear what was going on, and... I c-could hear myself trying to hurt Cream... I w-wanted to stop so badly, but I wasn't in c-control of myself...

EV!Tails: I can relate there, Amy...

O77!Amy: Y-You can?

EV!Tails: My dimension had to put up with facing three entities akin to Respiro. It felt like we were well and truly done for when... T-Toxinfect struck. He could've w-wiped out our entire universe if it wasn't f-for one of my best friends being a part of s-stopping him...

She comfortingly put her hand on EV!Tails's shoulder.

O77!Amy: Hey... What matters is that you managed to make it, and you found a way to bring us back, so it wasn't really all for nothing.

EV!Tails: Heh, I guess so.

O77!Amy: You know, since you and the other Sonics are from other dimensions... Did I get to be with Sonic in one of them?

EV!Tails: Well, I'd say so. I've seen quite a few where you and Sonic managed to tie the knot!

O77!Amy: Yes! Oh, that's made me feel better knowing my dreams still became a reality at least somewhere in the multiverse.

EV!Sonic: I can see them really close by. Let's pick up the pace!

At one area of the sub-world, the three warriors were having a small break.

O77!Woody: Alright, let's face the facts, guys! We're never getting out of here! The sanctuary Rovina provided us was all we had left, and now it's gone!

O77!Aladdin: T-There's gotta be a way back out, right?

O77!Woody: We've been trying to escape for what feels like years, and there's literally no concept of time here.

O77!Blaze: We'll figure it out one way or another, boys, even if we have to find a breach into a completely different universe to do it.

O77!Woody: How? All this? This is what's left of the "creator's" work! *sigh* Let's just close up shop. All we can do now is pray something happens, something good...

Blaze sighed glumly, sitting down on one of the huge drawers. However, she soon heard voices nearby.

EV!Cosmo: I can see them! This way!

O77!Blaze: Huh? Those voices...

O77!Aladdin: Could that be...?

Jasmine saw her lover there, and with Abu, she ran towards him.

O77!Jasmine: Aladdin!

O77!Aladdin: Jasmine! You're okay!

The two held each other in a longing embrace, with Abu joining in, happy to see his best friend again.

O77!Abu: Aladdin!

O77!Aladdin: Heh, it's great to see you too, Abu.

The others arrived, Amy noticing Blaze sitting down while despondant.

O77!Amy: Blaze? Is something wrong?

O77!Blaze: O-Oh! Amy! Are you alright? You look... different?

O77!Amy: I do?

EV!Sonic: Yeah, now that you mention it, your clothes and eye colour are different. Same with you, Blaze.

O77!Blaze: Oh, right.

EV!Tails: On the bright side, it's a good way to tell you two apart from others.

O77!Blaze: I just...

O77!Blaze: I feel like I wasn't doing enough before. I failed everybody, all because we couldn't stop Respiro before he erased everything. The sanctuary Rovina made for us was all we had left, and when we abandoned it to try and fix things... well, that's why we're stuck here.

LM!Sonic: Gosh...

LM really couldn't help but feel sorry for their predicament, knowing this kind of fate really wasn't what the three warriors deserved.

EV!Sonic: Hey. We'll help you guys get back out of this world to a safer place to let you have a breather.

O77!Aladdin: You can actually do that?

O77!Woody: Did you see any fragments of my friends, or at least one of them, out there?

Zonic: Not in our initial search, but we'll continue checking to see if we can find any survivors from your world, Sheriff.

O77!Woody: Thanks, Space Hedgehog. That's the least I can ask for.

Zonic: Er, the name's "Zonic"? Z at the start.

O77!Aladdin: The variants of you guys have different names?

EV!Sonic: Well, some of us, anyway. You eventually get used to it.

LM!Sonic: Well, we don't have much time to lose. I'm not sure how much longer the remains of this place will hold for, so we'd better get you guys to safety.

O77!Blaze: A-Alright.

O77!Amy: It'll be okay, Blaze. Don't worry.

She stood up.

O77!Blaze: Okay. Twigs, Dusty, you ready?

O77!Aladdin: I'm ready!

O77!Woody: Well, copy that, partner.

EV!Tails: Alright. Let's open a portal back to the HQ!

EV!Cosmo: Do what you need to, Tails!

Tails opened the portal.

O77!Aladdin: That's definitely a lot of, er... what's the term?

EV!Tails: Technology? Yeah, I understand it's pretty foreign. There's plenty of nature about at the place, though.

O77!Woody: Okay, let's not waste another second and get moving! Ride like the wind, guys!

They headed through the portal back to the HQ, with Blaze looking back at the old world one last time before leaving it behind.

O77!Amy: So, what next?

EV!Sonic: I'll go get you to our therapists, Amy. From what you told Tails, you don't really seem in the best state mentally right now.

O77!Amy: Yeah... I honestly really appreciate the gesture, Sonic. Thank you.

EV!Sonic: Anytime!

O77!Amy: Heh, wow. There's so many people here.

O77!Woody: You said it. I'd get lost memorising everyone compared to Andy's room. I still really appreciate the change in scenery, though. Being stuck in an amalgamation of your home and others can really ruin your hopes.

O77!Aladdin: Yeah.

EV!Tails: We'll get a room sorted for you, Jasmine and Abu shortly, Aladdin. Same for the rest of you.

O77!Jasmine (smiling): That's really appreciated, young one.

EV!Tails: You're welcome! Well, I'm gonna go see Tekno and get things sorted!

EV!Cosmo: I'll come with you!

EV!Tails: Sweet!

He and EV!Cosmo headed out.

Zonic: EV? Before you go, there's something I uncovered during our time back there. Some log connected to some other entity that must've been holding everything together back there. It mentioned about some... "Rovescio"?

EV!Sonic: Rovescio? O77!Blaze: Rovescio? I might have to look into that later.

Zonic: Fine with me, Blaze. I'll go store it in the library for you to look through later.

O77!Blaze: Much appreciated, Zonic.

EV!Sonic: Alright. I'll look into this Rovescio later, too. Whoever or whatever they are, we've got research to do. Alright, let's go, Amy.

O77!Amy: Oh! Coming!

She followed him to the therapy sector.

Post-er... POST, Trivia

The palette I went for for O77!Amy is based on this art Oldum had made in the past during his Amy craze. And yeah, she got the blue jacket later on to help her further stand out.

You might have noticed that LM!Sonic is still sympathetic at this point in time. In this sense, it's because this is the second case of a universal wipe he's had to see happen, and as such, he's got a direct hatred for Respiro for being the one to cause it. It's after what Dr. Finitevus did to the Superstars universe when he started going off the deep end with his ideals and personality, though I'll explain the cause in a later post. Just know it's got something to do with "MD-X".

Zonic is upright here, since collision is out-of-whack in what's left of the three worlds, and he already saw the endless abyss in the amalgamated world, so opted to look upright so as not to get further unnerved.

O77!Amy was able to quickly identify Errorverse Sonic and Tails as not being her own thanks to the lack of eye colour on both of them (due to both adapting the Mod.Gen sprite style).

For anyone out of the loop at this point, the "Rovescio" mentioned was uncovered as part of a complex string of actions performed outside the TS.EXER itself and in the files. Think DDLC's method of hiding secrets, and you'll see what I mean.

The conclusion to the saga had happened 5 years prior to the Quill Society picking up the trails of the survivors, meaning Aladdin, Woody and Blaze were stranded in the glitch level for that long before salvation came. No wonder the poor cowboy was giving up hope by that point, and thank god aging is vastly limited in the SEGAVerse and connected territories.

I do see your vision. Increased healing? Greater durability? Faster reflexes than Sonic’s potentially? Closer to Shadow’s skills of chaos powers? Fuck yeah I see that for him! In another post far away, I discussed a bit of exactly this! Though for entirely different reasons, but still I’ll share a part of my premise here. When it comes to the chaos energy within the archie universe, it’s actually insane with its powers and abilities. I mean look at entities like Perfect Chaos, Enerjak, Feist exists???, and the documented super forms. From having increased speed, strength, invulnerability, simple feats such as that. To granting various complex wishes. Immortality. Remove life from the host. Seal away a god. Sacrifice. Fuse an ancient spirit with Chaos [Tikahaos]. Warping time and space to the point of rewriting reality entirely. 

…And Scourge has Master Emerald energy perma-trapped inside him. Ain’t no way it just turned him green with a slight boost. 

Now now, he is the Evil Sonic, if they wrote him like that, it’ll be almost impossible for the FF to get around the problem. After all, they eventually won against Scourge by tricking him to power down while the other option was an attempted gang-up on him. Though it can be argued in-universe that he’s ignorant with what he is capable of. He’s never been pushed to his limits the same way his Prime counterpart was. In every instance where he grabs power from a source, besides the added boost, he doesn’t consider the capabilities/consequences until it’s spelled out to him. 

Something that’s driven me crazy is how this mutation according to Zonic has made him a wildcard in the cosmic scheme of things. And proceeds to never elaborate what that exactly means in later issues, sighs.  

I could see him having a deeper connection to the Master Emerald than anyone else, should he pay attention. Hmm…which leads me to another question….

Do you see any negative consequences he could suffer down the line from having that much energy inside him considering…that’s not supposed to happen? 

Seen some people headcanon it’s probably why he had such a mentality switch post Master Emerald. Why he seems extra hateful. I say yeah to this too, the chaos energy might’ve drove him a little mad. Maybe even because he is originally made of anarchy energy.

Or how that energy could potentially tear him apart physically should he abuse his powers.

Yeah, I agree that Scourge would be THAT much of a dumbass not to notice or even consider his new found powers. Although, he didn’t have much of a timeframe to think about it, from conquering his world to attempting to take over sonic’s to having his powers restricted in prison. The only person that (saw the power boost AND is currently still with him) is Fiona, she’s possibly the only one who would consider those options. Scourge would possibly figure them out in a accidental situation, in a fight and got a wound, suddenly it heals and it gets him thinking.

No, I haven’t previously thought about the negatives of the chaos energy, but I am interested in the idea. I guess both energies are fighting, causing problems in his body, or maybe the chaos energy slightly enhanced the obvious negatives of the Anarchy Beryll, causing scourge to be more violent and angry.

The only CANON instance in which I can see the Chaos Energy actively helping Scourge was in 191/192 where he turned super, but once he turned back, he fell to his knees and more energy than just the Anarchy Beryll was drained out of him. He later was passed out — some might say he was acting (though I disagree as I don’t see Scourge being able to put up with being carried by SONIC) — but he quickly regained consciousness, and I’ve always thought that was when the chaos energy was actively trying to restore his lost power. Which is why he was able to act quick in a fight, even if he drained of nothing literally minutes ago.

Aster, the oldest, as stated before is named after aster flowers, and was named mostly after appearance of the flowers ( coming in blue, pink, purple, red and white ). Aster does NOT have any interest in gardening, but does love a good flower, even if he could never be bothered to do more than admire it. She likes the name and thinks its fitting as she is pretty awesome and cool and awesome again, he's named after a pretty flower and shows that off by dressing himself up to be proud of that Aster is named after a flower, and his younger sibling ( the other jetilver / silvjet kid, owned by lethalbreadkills ) is named Calamintha ( just called Mint for short by most of her family ) and the youngest and newest edition is Zinnia ( Also owned by lethalbreadkills, Zonilver fankid ) so the flower/plant/herb theme is present through out them all! Silver did most of the naming, though now that I think about it probably discussed possible names with Jet too, to see if there was any that jet liked. So, of course the aster, which also just means star, worked out! Mint is probably the one Silver fully just went on her own with, and Zinnia IS a flower, but also keeps up that silly naming theme all the no zone residents had. Name that starts with a Z babey!!!

[ On another note, before I finish this off as I wanna clarify some things! ] - One, I'm aware silver uses he/him pronouns in canon. though in this lil au and my own personal headcanons outside of this, she is a trans woman, idk silver is so transgender to me personally. Silver being any kind of transgender is so duper duper correct, but this take specifically takes on the trans woman route - Two, while aster never refers to Zinnia as a sibling, they are infact siblings. Silver is in a polygamous relationship between jet and Zonic, Zonic and Jet aren't dating, but they're both dating Silver etc etc so don't worry! there wasn't a divorce in the slightest between Silver and Jet LMAOO

This is an AU I made named Sonic Inverse, and it’s basically a “what if?” AU based on what Scourge’s Universe would be like if it existed after the Archie Sonic Reboot. Btw, most of these aren’t final designs, and mostly concepts.

More facts and stuff:

This universe also has things borrowed from other iterations of Sonic, such as ideas in Sonic The Comic. This means I used some of the characters in there as well, such as Turbo and Extra Life Sonic, who gets renamed Xeno. Turbo still has the Alien hedgehog thing going on, and ultimately works as a “space cop” of sorts. Extra Life Sonic’s 1-up box is found by the Alien race enslaving Turbo (which I still haven’t given a name). This lead’s to him being captured, as well. The alien race also find a prototype Metal Scourge. Turbo get’s partnered with Extra Life Sonic, who is now referred as Xeno, after being named by Turbo when Xeno tells him he doesn’t really have a name, as he’s just a copy of another person. Turbo and Xeno have a brother relationship. Xeno does have a plan to break out, as he originally only got captured willingly, thinking that the alien race might have had info on Sonic.

Reck The Tasmanian is supposed to replace Shadow’s role as Scourge’s rival. He was also an experiment, but somehow managed to escape when he was younger. This was because during the time, Dr. Ivo was being defunded by the King, meaning all of his labs were raided. Both him and Shimmer are orphans, in a sense, as Shimmer lost her parents, and Reck is an experiment. Shimmer The Bunny is supposed to be Reck’s younger adopted sister, and takes Cream’s role!

Prower hates Scourge, because of an incident that happened between them when they were younger. This also goes with Pentas The Hellion, the Amy Rose of this universe, as she also hates Scourge because of an incident between them. (Mind you, I still haven’t posted the concept art for her, because, again, my phone is broke and I can’t take pictures of the art unless I ask my friends but I don’t want to bother them.)

Scourge’s dad is King Maurice, who basically manipulates Scourge as he grows up. Alisson Acorn, Sally’s counterpart, is the General of the King’s army in this Au and she’s in charge of training Scourge. She’s mostly forced to ignore the abuse that go between King Maurice and Scourge, which leads to Scourge hating her.

The Zone Cops do exist, and I have my own version of Zamy, who is more of a partner to Zonic. She befriends Pentas The Hellion at some point, but is exiled from the Zone Cops themselves after she helps Pentas break out of the prison.

The Blaze of this universe, Lilac, does have rivalry with Pentas.

I know this might sound dumb, but I’m also using Coldsteel in this universe. He’s an experiment as well, but is mostly locked away in the King’s castle because of how catastrophic he can be. He’s mostly a trump card against the other kingdoms. Scourge does eventually use him whenever he gains control over the kingdom after he gets rid of his father.

Prower isn’t a tech guy in this universe, he’s a biologist/chemist. Null, the Knuckles of this universe, is the tech guy.

Null has a sister, and his clan still exist, except he was banished after rejecting the idea of being the guardian, as he was forced to deal with violence. Null hates violence for anything, and hates that it was an ideal that the clan thought that was supposed to be practiced. This does break the ties he has with his sister, but he does try to help her leave the clan at some point.

Rouge has her own clan, as well, and they’re enemies with the echidnas. She takes role of the guardian in this universe.

Honey The Cat and Breezie do exist, as well, named Maple The Cat and I’m still working on Breezie’s character. Maple and Inverse Breezie do have a rivalry, as well, as Maple is a crime leader who works undercover for the King, and Breezie does the opposite, and tries to limit crime. 

King Maurice is extremely manipulative and influences most of the kingdom to fit his own wants, even as going as far as building a bad reputation for his “son”. This means that even if Scourge does call him out on the shady things he does, no one believes him as he’s painted as a troublemaker. Scourge does try to sabotage his father’s plans at times, and that gets him in plenty of trouble.

Antonio De Corales, Antoine D’Coolette’s Inverse counterpart, is one of the most high ranking soldiers in the army. He’s mostly against Scourge, especially whenever he becomes King. He starts out not trusting the people who want to remove Scourge from the position as King, though, because he still honors his job. He does come around at the end and helps the rest of the gang (Prower, Null, Reck, Shimmer, Pentas) defeat Scourge. (I still haven’t made a Bunnie for this Au, though)

Ok Ok so Shard and Zonic have completely different origins. One was created purely to cause chaos and the other was created purely for order and stability.

However, they’re both Sonic. Yet how they view that is also entirely different. Ever since Shard was just “Metal Sonic” his entire purpose was not only to live up to him (power wise), but to best him. After he was rebuilt, he wanted nothing more but to live up to Sonic. Sure he could match with him power wise, but he couldn’t just copy and paste his exact personality and friend groups. I think his entire arc was him becoming his own person and realizing he’s more than just Metal or Sonic. With Zonic, he knows he’s just like Sonic, and even believes that he can beat him if he really needed to. Due to his origins, he feels superior to Sonic, while Shard looks down on his origins as it’s the exact cause of his insecurities. I believe, despite these differences, their core values and personalities are very similar. Zonic puts up this serious front for the sake of a mission, but it barely lasts that long. They’re both so. GOOFY. They make terrible puns nobody laughs at besides themselves and can act cheeky if they believe they’re better than whoever they’re being cheeky with. They’re also quick to act. Like a pathetic wet cat. The moment their insecurities are exposed and if there’s a doubt in their mind they fumble. I think it affects Zonic more than Shard, because he’s so used to being so sure of himself that if something goes wrong, it messes him up like crazy. Thissss is what also affects how they interact with Sonic. Despite his superiority complex, Zonic is really dependent on Sonic. This can stem off of his own fears that are now eased when he works along Sonic, or just the fact that Sonic is from the Prime Zone and without Sonic there’s literally no. Purpose for him. No matter what, Sonic is the OG and Zonic is the copy. His entire world is structured after Sonic’s and made to protect and defend Sonic’s. Shard has the exact same dilemma concerning Sonic, but it’s now taken from a more personal level (which I rlly enjoy and makes the comparison more fun) His interactions after he was rebuilt started out tense, but through the development of friendship and his displays of kindness, he was able to become Sonic’s friend. I’m not gonna say Zonic and Sonic didn’t develop a friendship bc they definitely did, but Sonic put trust in Zonic *after* Zonic revealed he was him. It was more like a “I have to trust you bc you are me even tho I can’t always agree with you” then develop a friendship rather than “You have to earn my trust because I never had any for you in the first place” like it was for Shard

BUT WHATEVER WHO CARES AB SONIC LETS TALK AB SILVER !!! Shard and Silver had more of a one sided enemy thing going on. Silver wasn’t there to make friends, but ended up making friends anyway because idk this is sonic the hedgehog. They were very. Brash and rude to each other, but Shard was clearly having fun teasing and messing with Silv while Silv was debating on killing him like half the time (I’m getting lazy just reread the wiki page like the rest of us) Because Zonic fucking DIED and every zone was erased besides the prime zone (which was a fucking LIE bc of the silver age and like several other issues but whatever) Silv and Zonic never interacted howeverrrr it’s easy to predict how they’ll interact. Silv, unless told that he could trust him in the beginning and that they need to work together, would be hostile and probably bite him ngl. Zonic, esp after the Silver Age, would probably arrest Silver. This would cause Silver to be on edge and they would probably fight a lot. Zonic would win but not rlly bc Silver doesn’t stop fighting that’s like his thing. I still think that although their fights would like strain their relationship, they would end up becoming allies due to having a similar goal and a similar way to attain it. Also thank god Silver is finally partnered with someone who wouldn’t blink if told he needs to kill someone in order to maintain order. They both have the same job and morals, so if they ever got over their differences then they would probably make a good team. So um TLDR Silver likes guys that he hates and finds annoying and only get in her way, only to find out it’s a good kind of annoying and they can rlly be her friends. They’re just like me fr

Still, while I’m thinking about Sonic, I’d like to ask you how much time you think passes in Archie’s Twilight Cage/Zone while a much longer length of time goes by for Mobius Prime? I’ve had this on and off thought about both Sonic and Robotnik Prime being sent to the Twilight Cage connected to their home universe as a “impromptu” choice on Zonic’s part after he learns that Snively successfully programmed the Ultimate Annihilator in Issue 50/Super Special Issue 6 to erase both of his most hated people from existence, which would’ve resulted in bad instability problems.

Once Sonic and Doctor Robotnik find themselves next to the Dark Legion, all three parties keep each other so busy that they don’t get to the Prime Zone until a good amount of time passes for them, which is increased considerably for their native dimension. And yeah, it will mean Knuckles will be mostly dealing with the Dingo Regime and the Knothole Freedom Fighters against Ixis Naugus, which have consequences, even if I can’t tell what they will be yet.

If I recall correctly, the way time works in the Twilight Zone is that it passes at roughly a quarter of the speed that it does in the Prime Zone. Hence why onlyy four generations or so of Dark Legion leadership exists compared to the vastly larger number of Guardians that have come and gone since the Enerjak crisis.

It'd be pretty easy for the two to spend a comparatively brief amount of time inside the Zone while a year or even two years creeps onward in the Prime Zone. Its definitely an interesting idea for an AU.

so much zonic. these are all minorly incoherent buuuut yeah. reading forward please remember almost all of this is based on a roleplay me n my friends have been working on for a while now :)

regular ass no zone

pretty much the no zone is the multiverse prison- with cops to match. their zone (the universes) runs parallel to all other zones, so yeah they walk on walls its fun

HOWEVER the no zone is. well. its fucked up. dystopian cyberpunk future setting, with extreme technological advances and surprisingly enough /s, mass amounts of corruption. most of the content we see revolves around the no zone prison, which is where multiversal delinquents and criminals are kept. zonic is one of the highest ranking officers, and elite zone cop, and he watching all of the zones on tiny screens in a large room. he spends his life watching the lives of other sonics, seeing what he can never have. hes canonically 17 btw. just thought that was important to note.

one of the biggest issues we see in the comics is the warden (zobotnik) being a magnum cunt as per usual. hes the source of the corruption we see in comic, preferring violent methods of rehabilitation of the prisoners that generally dont actually work. theres a small program in place run by the therapist, zouge, to try and change the way rehabilitation is handled, actually trying to help the prisoners instead of torturing them and going yeah that works. at least in the universe me oat and jove have going, zouge is quite literally being blackmailed into continuing to work there with her life, with her having many cybernetic augmentations due to what would have been a fatal injury. zonic has depression. zouge also has depression. fun fact the no zone canonically clips scourges quills down to a very unhealthy length and theres not enough room in zonics uniform for him to have proper quills so he also has trimmed quills. theyre trimmed in the actual worst way possible (an electric razor) and thus dont grow back properly. more on that later anyways the only reason hedgehogs are even allowed to have quills as long as they do (which is still far too short) is because zonic straight up had an anxiety attack in the middle of a mission

also blackmail is a common thing, with zobotnik using plenty to keep ZONIC working as well, seeing as hes been working there SINCE he was nine (this is extremely illegal but no one gives a shit soooo :// oh well), with a big one being shit like "what would your father think?" (zules was an elite zone cop and died in action), and also the fact that due to beginning working when he was a child, he has no fucking clue what his rights are and thus works... whenever they tell him to. which is usually. he has no fucking friends and the closest he has is literally watching other sonics lives and getting attached to them as characters but not as people. because. he just,, watches their lives and interferes when shit gets too fucked. not good

CURRENTLY in the roleplay (and im only explaining this so that the next section makes more sense.

currently, zonic has been fired (due to him using the favt he is a child (among many other reasons lmao) to get zobotnik out of power. it worked, but now hes out of a job bc...of his own reasoning. hes a child.) and is living in the prime zone for a bit. scourge has already been manipulated by mephiles (before and during getting KIDNAPPED) and then after as well) and offers to talk to mephiles so that he has a job to do

(zonic has gone so long being told what to do he longer knows how to function without it, so he readily agrees, happy to be obedient once again)(its kind of a coping mechanism. he has Issues)

so he and scourge are both helping mephiles whilst being manipulated by him. they arent aware.

of course this all comes to a head and goes way fucking wrong- but. well. thats a story for another time.

mephiles goes into hiding. zonic has been further trained into such obedience he struggles to function, attempting multiple times to run back to mephiles (it doesnt work)

SO BASICALLY basically zonic goes to eggman yknow. and like,, what eggman *wouldnt* be happy with a sonic whos willing to do whatever he says? evem without the speed (which he gets taught how to control and use :)) he was actually combat trained, so he can fuck people up. and hes willing to do whatever eggman says.

and well, eggman doesnt really know about thw other zones and shit but this is a kid that looks and sounds exactly like sonoc aside from shorter quills and scars, so ots not hard to tell that *spmethings* up with him

orbot and cubot are. far more concerned about him mentally like theres so much wrong woth this kid. also hes short as hell. thats not important to this you just need to know that. but slowly hes learning to use his speed, and because. why not. we cant have a naked eggion (ignore all the naked eggions theyre not important) (mostly to hide his identity because lets be honest ots SUPER FUCKING OBVIOUS) he gwts a uniform. and upon trying out the gloves, the fact that his bracelet is the only thing keeping him.... upright, at least for them. adhering their gravitational pull, is found out. pretty much confirming that theres something wrong about zonic. they take a bit- experimenting woth technology to make the transition between the two easier. granted, it took a while, and zonic did not feel good (switchign pretty much made him fall face first into the floor)(or wall, depending) which was pretty finny

so yeah he had a migraine for a while bit it happens yknow

hes also got a longer mechanical tail (attaches to his actual tail) to help with keeping balance while running as well as general assistance, acting like nines tails from prime :)

hes also concerned orbot n cubot (and eggman but to a more minor extent) by vaguely talking about stuff from the past. comments like "this is the best job ive wver had :)" and "im glad you let me keep my quills. theyve never been this long before"(which likely does catch eggman off guard at least because. theyre still super short at this time) and readily agreeing to spy on his friends for eggman because thats what hes spent his entire life doing and he doesnt realize its wrong. stuff that kids shouldnt be saying or doing lol.

also the fact zonic accidentally tells eggman theres other universes when hes extremely delirious from staying up for nearly three days and having to desperately go "hey hey dont do whatever youre planning on dking because you will literally reset REALITY again and thats not very cool"

zonic doesnt quite.. have motives? at least, not in that way. hes not really out to hurt people (yet). he's just.. desperate. he's gone his entire life under someones control, and not being so scares him. and he cant go back to mephiles, so eggman is the familiar middle ground. im not sure if desperation for the familiar counts as a motive, but thats what hes got. and then he stays because, well, it's better than every other job hes had.

IM NOT.. sure how that would work out? purely for the fact that like, the sonic team,, isnt really friends. theyre more aquaintences. zonic doesnt really... have friends. and he likely tries to keep his familial relations a secret, as much as he can at least. because he literally ran away for this. the spying only happened after a WHILE because zonic had been dead online for like. months. and upon learning he talked to them he was (initially) upset before realizing zonic could spy on them- at least i believe thats what was said lol. and zonics not going to try and get eggman to change his mind on friendship, cause to be quite honest, he ,, doesnt consider them friends. because hes not allowed friends. zobotnik sure as hell didnt want him having any considering how he was isolated. so.

AND I ACTUALLY LOVE THE ZONIC METAL THING? because also a big part of zonic is literally that he had to spend his life watching all of the sonics live lives he could never even *dream* of having. and now that he has the ability, he thinks thats his only option. be the name. hes not sonic, but he has to be. scourge is the only sonic to have denied his name and hes... well. its scourge. this is making less sense the longer i ramble aaaaa sorry lmao metals thing may have backfired tho because zonics going on a villain arc after this LMAO

not sure if anyone else had this type of Crossover AU idea, but if there was a Crossover AU that has to do with Sonic Frontiers & Sonic Prime, it would be called Sage Prime.

like picture Sonic still ending up in the same situation, along with Shadow being in the same situation, but instead of Sonic ending up in New Yoke along, he ends up there with Sage.

January 19th will be the Crossover AU known as Sage Prime’s Birthday.

I think Sage’s first thoughts would be when she sees The Chaos Council,

would be “Father, why are you wearing a wig....? and appears you have cloned yourself as well.....”

but like instead of keeping the thoughts inside her head, she says them out loud for everyone in the room to hear.

this would also be my first fan art of Rusty Rose, I hope I did okay drawing her.

I can’t help but think that Shadow Figure that was talking to Rusty, might not be Mister Doctor Eggman (I’m still calling him by the nickname Megan.)

because the voice sounds different and the hair style seems different as well, my Fan Headcanon and theory is that could be The Egg-Emperor that is the boss of The Chaos Council.

well either that, or The Real Egg-Emperor’s right-hand man, and it could turn out that Doctor Eggman, the original did survive and didn’t have himself shatter into multiple counterparts, and had ended up cloning himself, and creating The Chaos Council and The Mysterious Shadow Figure Eggman (who I don’t think is “Megan” and might be a different version of Eggman.)

plus Eggman surviving what happen to Sonic’s original world, would explain why we don’t see any versions of Eggman in the Pirate and Jungle Worlds.  

plus both him and Sonic were the closes to The Paradox Prism, so in theory if The Original versions of Tails, Amy, Knuckles and Rouge were a little bit closer to the paradox prism like Sonic and Eggman were, they wouldn’t of shattered into multiple counterpart versions of themselves.

I do have a theory about Sonic from the Sonic Prime series, being The True Sonic Prime, while the Archie version wasn’t and was like a Subprime, like even if Sonic (from Sonic Prime) had his original world shattered, new reality and worlds are still being born and brought into existence.

like the Zone Cops, like Zonic, mistakenly thought that Sonic from the Mobius Subprime, was from Mobius Prime but it turns out after every zone and person who was erased from the original timeline and had regenerated in the Fanon Timeline-stream, and this would end up having all the Zone Cops being regenerated as well, they would then find out that the Sonic that they thought was the Prime-Sonic, turning out to be NOT the real Prime-Sonic at all.

and he was Subprime-Sonic, I am fan headcanoning that, because it makes sense that Sonic from the new Sonic Prime show, is the True Prime-Sonic and the one from the Archie Comic series, turning out not to be the true Prime-Sonic at all.

I did write the theory about it, but I don’t think I have posted it yet...

plus if Evil-Sonic and Scourge were made into separate characters, and rewriting Scourge’s history where he was born with green fur and blue eyes, and is biologically related to Uncle Chuck.

and you know, I like the idea that Sonic’s middle name would still be Maurice.

anyway, I hope some like this crossover drawing that has to do with Sage from Sonic Frontiers and Rusy Rose from Sonic Prime.

 a Crossover AU between the Sonic Frontiers Game & Sonic Prime Show,

just seem like a interesting idea, and if Sage did end up in the same situation as Sonic, she might end up meeting Rusty Rose first in New Yoke before meeting up with Sonic.

we know that Doctor Babble is a baby and seems to have a bit of a temper, like if he was going through the terrible two’s a bit too early.

Sage could be the only one to calm him down, like her acting as a “big sister” to him and soothing him into taking a nap.

Sonic might call her the “Baby Whisperer”, that would be funny and cute. XD

picture Doctor Deep wanting to throw Mister Doctor Eggman a baby shower after Sage calls him “Father”, because she mistakes him being The Original Mainstream Eggman who is her Father/Creator.                        

and Doctor Done-it being, well, the funny Grandpa he is, he might say something like “About Time You Gave Me A Grandchild!”

which would then end up having Mister Doctor Eggman yelling “like I told that blue hedgehog, we are NOT a family!”

but even if he says their not, he could of fooled the fans, who some of the fans of the new show, already view The Chaos Council as a Family.

Doctor Don’t aka “Donny” and Doctor Babble would be like the sons of the family, and Doctor Done-It would be like the Grandpa.

I still think it might be possible that the Original Eggman did survive and didn’t break into multiple counterparts when the Paradox Prism shattered.

and in theory, when he did survive, he might of found himself in the Green Hill that would later be made into New Yoke, and without Sonic around, he could make his dream come true, and even cloned himself to help run New Yoke.

it be surprising if that theory turns out to be true, like how that one guy had accidentally predicted that Kris would eat all the pie in the Deltarune game.

which once again, I don’t think Kris did that until after they had sneak out of the house and broke into the library and made a dark fountain and then they went back home and used the knife to use on the pie, well either that or it turning out that when Kris had sneak out to breaking to the library, they left the door open and Susie was passing by and she smelled the pie and was the one who ate all the pie instead of Kris, who didn’t get the chance to eat all of, and there could of been only one slice left.

it be funny if Mom-bot from Sonic Boom, viewed not just Sage as her Grandchild, but also viewed Doctor Don’t and Doctor Babble as her Grandchildren as well.

and like how she views Morpho as her other son and him being Eggman’s brother, she might view Doctor Deep and Mister Doctor Eggman as her sons as well. it be funny if Mom-bot got on to Mister Doctor Eggman if he started to “pick on” his “Baby Brother” Doctor Deep, like this being at the dinner table.

and if Sonic had the same problem with his shoes after what happen to the Paradox Prism, The Original Eggman could of had the same problem and had to make a device to stable his energy, and if Orbot and Cubot were close enough to the Paradox Prism as he was, then they could of survived as well and Eggman might of had to make devices to help stable their energies as well.

if Sage had started to show any signs of being unstable, I guess she could be given a type of stabling device as well, that looks like a hair-clip.

anyway, maybe I will draw more of this “Sage Prime AU” idea again sometime.

I did my best to make Sage have a cute confused look on her face, but I guess it might be hard to tell if that is a confused look she has on her face.                  

I do think I may have drew Rusty’s emotionless face perfectly though.

 also if Sonic did end up having a crush on Rusty Rose, even if it is just in Fanon, would that make him a Simp...?

if there was a question I could ask any of the Sonic Characters from Sonic Twitter Takeover on Twitter and even shows on Youtube, which I don’t really have a Twitter Account, and I know I was thinking about it before, but because of certain reasons, I don’t want to make one right now....even if there are good people over at Twitter, but I have my reasons.

 but then that type of question might not be possible to be answered.

 I wonder if the reason why so many fans have started to simp for her, might have to do with her being really tall and those who do simp for her in a hardcore way, might have a Goddess Complex, I know that the whole Goddess Complex might not really be a real complex, but like instead it meaning a literal Goddess, it would mean that those who simp would view the object of their simping as a “Goddess figure” even if she isn’t really one.

I think that Lady Alcina Dimitrescu from The Biohazard/Resident Evil series, is a interesting character, but I don’t simp for her.

I may have simp a little for Karl Heisenburg, and might still have a small crush on him, but I guess I could have some form of simp-flux moments.

I still have no interest in forming romantic relationships with real humans, and not just because I am Aroaceflux, it has to do with a few reasons that make them unattractive...which I might talk a little bit more about in another post.

my being Aroaceflux and the things that I find unattractive in other humans (well the Toxic-Humans, really...) are separate.

 anyway, when I can, I might draw more Sage Prime.

Sage is just so adorable, and we know that Eggman is wrapped around her little finger and she could be the future Empress of the Eggman Empire when Eggman retires for all we know. XD

So, while I doubt it would happen anything close to how it does in the comics due to reasons, I'd still think it would be a fun thought experiment in the line of my earlier Enerjak Reborn ask; if something like the Endangered Species storyline happened that exiled every other Echidna on the planet to another plane of existence, how do you think your version of Knuckles & Finitevus would end up reacting in the fallout, assuming they care at all?

Well first and foremost, I can definitely assure you that they'd care. Knuckles and Finitevus are very protective of Albion and their species as a whole, plus even they are still susceptible to that specist streak that the majority of echidnas tend to have. So yeah, right out of the gate, this would definitely be a thing for them to address.

The interesting thing is that within the last year or so, Knux and Fini have had an encounter with the Zone Cops, and do still have a mild established connection with Zonic; specifically, he gave them a beacon to use if they're ever in trouble do a degree that they might need his assistance. I think if the Endangered Species situation ever happened, Knux and Fini would immediately investigate, and at whatever point they discovered that their people were sent to another zone, they'd undoubtedly activate the beacon. I'm not sure how directly Zonic could help them -- the Zone Cops as a whole are INCREDIBLY bureaucratic and typically very apathetic toward the lives of the actual residents of other zones -- but he'd damn well try. If nothing else, he'd try to help them with information, or other resources at his disposal.

Then from there, I think our boys could end up going down a very interesting rabbit hole involving the use of other types of chaos~ at a minimum this would probably incite them to do further research into black chaos, which they both already have familiarity with (Finitevus moreso). They've managed to open warp rings into other zones before, but not without an insignificant amount of effort and research, as well as personal risk because they don't have it down well enough for it to be stable. This could push them to perfect it, and could potentially branch into them trying to use other types of chaos as well -- perhaps even the elusive grey chaos, which I've mused about many times before~

Anyway I've hidden all this under a cut because I know my RP partner reads my blog and I've enjoyed this thought exercise enough that I'm considering actually working with it in-game, and I'd rather they not see more of this than necessary lol.

Zonic the hedgehog and Big the Cat are best friends they met one day when Zonic was having a very bad mental health day and Big helped him out by teaching him how to fish. Big also likes listening to Zonic ramble about ancient history,ghosts,etc cause of how passionate Zonic is about said topics and while Big isn't much of a talker if theres something on his mind or he wants to chat Zonic is more that happy to oblige. Most of the time though both boys are quiet and they just enjoy each other's company. Zonic also tends to get so relaxed around Big that he'll end up accidentally falling asleep on him which Big doesn't mind as he knows how tired Zonic is.

DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THESE LADS, so I guess I better ask "who are the magic bois really." Because I do not know anything about them. But yeah, who are they and what are their REAL personalities (aka not the ones I have seen in 9 Tailed)

Azule is Modern Sonic, his world being that of the games and IDW comics, with some changes of course. He has by this point experienced the events of Frontiers and the Metal Virus, just to name two. Personality-wise, I would say he isn't a very touchy person but he's friendly enough and unapologetic about who he is.

Zee is Zonic, an elite officer for this version of the Zone Cop Corps and a veteran of a war. He may lack the supernatural abilities of his counterparts but he is a force to be reckoned with all the same. Stoic and quiet, Zee has a sharp focus and mind with the drive to see any given task to the end as efficiently as possible - though he isn't too fond of physical touch either.

Dash is Classic Sonic, his timeline running up to Mania but he does not have a part in Forces in this AU. He is very no-nonsense and is often quick to judge (and bite) however this bowling ball does have a kindness in his violence... sometimes.

Lapis is Boom Sonic, which is a little amusing, considering this boy has outgrown most of his jokes by now - his sass is still there, even if it's toned down. He is now legally an adult, and the events of the games and show happened a few years ago. Our dear Lapis is a warm, kind-hearted young man whose former teen arrogance has been tempered into a quiet confidence; he is a natural protector and is the most trustworthy soul you could find, if a little sensitive at times.

Wachowski is obviously Movie Sonic, and for now, he has experienced the events of both movies - and whatever happens in the third movie may proceed differently in this AU but who knows. He is still new to this multiverse and chaos soldier business but he is taking to it better than expected. This little blue muffin is innocent and naïve, believing there is good in almost everyone; he may be peaceful but this boy packs a punch, especially to protect those he cares about - he simply needs time to grow and become someone capable of bearing such a big heart.

Headcanon time: How strong is Scourge in a fight?

So, before the whole affair with the Master Emerald which made him the bastard we know and… love? Anyway, the old “Anti-Sonic” would always get his butt kicked by Sonic, and there’s a real easy explanation for this.

Sonic was constantly fighting and struggling against armies of death machines from early childhood, and escalating into battle with power scale-breaking gods. Anti-Sonic spent most of his time picking on a pacifist veterinarian.

Relative to most people, especially on Moebius, Anti-Sonic was no push-over. But Sonic could consistently defeat him, both because he was gaining experience fighting enemies like the Metal Series and, like Eggman points out later on, he's just been snowballing so much Chaos energy that it keeps ambiently powering him up. The Master Emerald, as we all know, is what turns things around. Anti-Sonic drinks up so much Chaos energy he turns green and now has enough raw power to hold his own against Sonic and Shadow for a bit, and to be evenly matched with Sonic. (I might also argue that given Zonic's characterization of the mutation as making Scourge a "wild card," it also allowed him to start "breaking the rules" for the Anti-Universe.)

But this doesn't make Scourge more skilled as a fighter - he's just better at taking and delivering hits. His fighting style isn't as refined by trial and error, and enemies which are kind of standard fare for Sonic, like the Metal Series, trip him up.

So in terms of raw power alone, Scourge probably beats Sonic, but this is an advantage he’s constantly in danger of losing because Sonic is still always absorbing chaos energy on his constant adventures. And unless there’s some weird temporal shenanigans or Sonic is incapacitated in the long term, Scourge will probably always be less skilled and experienced than Sonic. If Scourge had a mentor who could give him the proper training, he could potentially beat Sonic, but that will almost definitely never happen because self-discipline and humility are just not in Scourge's vocabulary.
