#news from the cupola#today's art adventure#thank you whoever at blick own brand decided to take whatever it was out of the gesso that used to necessitate a HEALTH WARNING on the side#of the jar... bought a new container of gesso after at least a decade (old one belonged to my dad) and this one is no longer going to HARM#BUT it is going to get put on EVERYTHING in sight gesso on my CHIPBOARD gesso on this CANVAS I found in the CLOSET#gesso on my LAPTOP gesso on my CAT everything is going to get a SMOOTH COAT SUITABLE FOR PAINTING UPON#<- guy who should. actually buy liquid paint.#I am actually quite tired of using the junky and ancient remnants of my neighbor's watercolor tubes. whatif I spent money on nice gouaches.
