Honestly Camille hoped that she wasnt lying because if Jake didn’t want this kid then it was going to bring the end of their relationship.

And would probably end with Jake’s body in Sidney’s body bag.

Charlotte is stuck between two, she loves his arms because he gives her the best hugs but she also selfishly loves his chest because there is something about it that gets her going. She hasn’t told Jake but she’d love to try riding it one day.

Jake knew something was off with Charlotte as she hadn’t let her eyes leave him all day when he was shirtless and her legs are always screwed shut with it “what’s wrong baby?” He mumbled pausing the tv to look at her “it’s stupid.” Charlotte shook her head as she fiddled with her rings wanting to avoid the conversation.

This made him grow concerned “Lottie you know you can tell me anything right?” Jake pointed out as he tucked her hair behind her ear “I keep on having these thoughts and they’re so.” She cut herself off as tears formed in her eyes.

He could tell she wasn’t sad but rather frustrated “can you tell me these thoughts?” All Jake wanted to do was help her as he ran his fingers up her thigh “I wanna ride your chest.” As she let the words slip from her lips her eyes went wide awaiting a response.

Jake smirked bringing his hands up to cup her cheeks “you wanna ride my chest?” He repeated her words as he wiped away her tears “why didn’t you just tell me that?” He added as he pulled her into his lap starting to feel bad that she didn’t just tell him to begin with.

Charlotte chewed at her cheek “it felt like a weird one.” She explained making him nod “but you gotta promise me you’ll tell me when you have these thoughts so I can help you princess.” Jake knew he was the second guy she had slept with so there was so much he wanted to help her explore.

So he tucked her hair behind her ear “and I’ll tell you the ones I have too.” He held his pinky up to her as she smiled “okay.” She nodded locking her pinky with his.

Every morning Charlotte seems to have a new one up until some random day when Jake gave her a black one “you growing attached to that one or something Charlie?” Sidney teased as he motioned to the hat on her head as the siblings sat out in the sun whilst the kids took a nap and Jake was in the kitchen with Camille.

Her cheeks grew red as she pulled the hat off of her head “Jake got it f’me.” She explained with a smile as her thumb ran over the stitching “and it’s staying because I like it okay?” Charlotte added making him nod.

Sidney smiled at the sight of his sister “so you gotta tell him you’re in love with him or not?” His words now made her eyes go wide “it’s far too see.” She began as the door shut to the patio.

Jake came out with a grin as he let his eyes trail over her “now for the record I do love you too.” Jake kissed her Neek as her cheeks turned warm flooded with embarrassment@

Charlotte ended up downstairs as she wanted a redbull from the fridge "nice to see someone awake." Sidney teased as he let out a laugh as he shook his head "hey at least I am awake." She shot back as she sent him a glare knowing that Camille was still sleeping.

Sidney let his eyes sharpen at her "I get to make fun of my perfect wife, you are someone I will always make fun." He shook his head as he made Charlotte laugh "hey I learn from the best." She teased pointing her finger back at him.

Charlotte got to his apartment as she was a nervous wreck “hey Lottie.” He opened the door before she was able to knock “I love you.” She blurted out as her eyes went wide.

Somehow the girl just continued talking “and I don’t know why I said what I did last night and if you left me I wouldn’t blame you but I adore you.” Charlotte pushed her hair out of her face “so I’m sorry for fucking up but I really am trying to be better for you.” Tears formed in her waterline as she began to assume the worst when he stayed silent.

Jake ran his fingers through his hair as he sighed “I hated last night.” He confessed feeing weird that he didn’t sleep with her in his bed “but I love you too.” The hockey player added as he pulled her into his arms when he smiled feeling her wrap her arms around him.

The girls were meant to be quiet as they came back in, but the fact that they couldn’t even make it into the house before they fell down and stared laughing said a lot.

Of course Jake was running out first and there sat both girls laying on their backs as they killed themselves laughing after Charlotte fell first “baby you okay?” Jake asked as he crouched down by her side “you’re so pretty.” Charlotte cooed making his cheeks turn red “absolutely not, you two are so not doing this!” Sidney scoffed as he sent the younger player a glare as Charlotte had gone so far she was in her “Jake is the hottest man alive and I must have him” drunk.

Camille just smiled as Sidney stood over her “the bar said hi.” She confessed as she shut her eyes ready to go to sleep “yeah we got so many free shots because of you two.” Charlotte giggled as Jake helped her up.

Getting to watch the younger couple interact was interesting for the both of them “because of us?” Jake listened intently “well they knew she was Sids wife and when they learnt I was his sister the shots just kept on coming!” Charlotte explained as she looked down to her feet at one point “I’m tired.”

Her whine made Jake pick her up like a child as she was desperate for a bit of comfort “I’ll get her to bed.” Jake announced as Charlotte wrapped her arms around his neck “you know he loves her right?” Camille’s voice was barely a whisper as she looked at Sidney who nodded.

His hand wrapped around her shoulders “at least he does.” The captain mumbled as he kissed his wife’s head before they too joined the couple inside.

Amelia loved Charlotte but sometimes she needed her to have more confidence in herself “Charlie you need to go apologise.” She sighed as she ran her fingers through Charlottes hair “he deserves better.” Charlotte shook her head as she sighed.

Charlotte didn’t tell anyone but she had seen Tyler when she was out and he said that he could never understand how Jake could settle for someone so young “okay where the fuck is this coming from?” Amelia was getting irritated by the words.

The younger girl just stared at the ground “I’m like a child compared to him and his friends.” Mason had heard her as he was done getting ready “last night kinda shows that.” His heart broke for the girl because he knew this relationship was the first thing she seemed so sure of.

But Amelia shook her head “we are getting you ready for the gym so we can sweat whatever this is out.” She scoffed as she helped the younger girl up.

Jake had to admit that he was getting all hard seeing her like that. And that was how his hand ended up on her side as he peppered kisses on her cheeks “such a pretty fucking girl.” He cooed as he massaged her ass in his finger tips as she blinked awake to see him “hi.” She mumbled with a smile as his eyes locked with hers.

Charlotte rolled over as she gave him space to sit down with her “proud of how you played.” She confessed as he pulled her feet into his lap “just missed you in the crowd.” Jake nodded as he smiled.

His question was honest as it was late when he got home “I actually have some different ideas.” She shook her head as he nodded letting his lips form a smirk “leave for a couple of days and all of a sudden my girl is horny?” Jake teased as she scoffed getting up.

He couldn’t tell if she was being serious “we both know I can use your little friend you bought me if you won’t.” She warned making him pull her into his arms “nice fucking try princess.” He scoffed as he threw her over his shoulder making them head to her bedroom.

Jake kissed Charlottes head making the baby gurgle "yeah love this is my boyfriend your uncle Jake." Sidney joined Camille on her bed "no getting any ideas for you two." Sidney warned feeling Camille wrap her arms around his shoulders.

Charlotte looked up as she rolled her eyes "okay so maybe you can put a kid in me." Her voice was a soft whisper but Jake's red face was enough to make Sidney get up again "I started liking you, move before that changes." The captain warned before he sat between the two of them.

Sid was in Dallas when he realised that something was off between Jake and Charlotte “I think he doesn’t want kids.” Charlotte didn’t tell her brother the full story as she knew the mention of the baby in her belly would make it worse.

That’s how Sidney sat Jake down one night “what if I’m a bad dad?” Jake’s shaky voice made Sidney realise what this was all about “look dude I totally fucked up there but just because I did doesn’t mean that you will!” Sidney thought it was the most obvious statement of the century.

Feel like he also pulled away from Caleb and mason & amelia were so so confused

Caleb just wanted to play cars with his favourite uncle but Jake kept on brushing the boy off “I’m scared.” Charlotte sobbed to the couple as she had told them that she was pregnant and couldn’t tell Jake whilst he was acting like this “look if he doesn’t want this kid you know you will never be alone.” Amelia promised as Mason nodded from where he sat next to the sobbing girl.

He wrapped his arm around Charlottes shoulders “besides we like you too much to let you raise it alone.” Mason kissed the top of her head.

What if Jake is really scared to have kids? like the feeling of not being ready? And we just got Charlotte pregnant so maybe some angst there?

Nobody realised but when Camille stayed in Dallas with the kids it actually really did mess with Jake seeing how a father that great could be that stupid too. Jake started pulling away from the kids then because he never knew if he was going to be a good enough uncle for them and then when the Disneyland trip hit he realised that if he’s not good to be an uncle can he even be a dad?

Mason hugging Jake, Charlotte and Amelia love to see a bromance

Mason and Jake had grown so much closer after they got with their girls "I love them." Charlotte giggled as she kicked her feet "they're so cute!" Amelia nodded in agreement as she tucked her hair behind her ears as she watched them hug.

The boys were always so sweet with each other and it made the girls love how well they got on "and then they don't act like they are best friends!" jake and Mason refused to admit the new bromance that had formed for the both of them.

Jake loves giving his girl attention when they visit through kisses or cuddles or even just pulling Charlotte onto his lap as they talk about life and all random things in between “no Charlie!” Lily would whine as she wants to sit on Jake’s lap.

The couple adore her nieces and nephews so of course they listen to them (even if Charlottes not happy to share her man) “Lily I just want a kiss from him!” But the girls are already pulling Charlotte off of Jake so they can sit with him.
