Odynx Character Study

Odynx from SeekL is an interesting character, someone who have been raised by the internet and possibly don't have any friends at school or even in his field of work.

While his backstory isn't revealed but more like what he suffered as someone who doesn't have any conversations or social skills, its assumed that he, mostly likely been neglected as a child but have some form of parents taking care of him.

Or an orphan.

With this possibility he would be mostly homeschooled as children who homeschooled or even only attend online school, would be more prone to nit having friends or any interaction skills.

"How do people start over so easily?"

Attachment issues, someone like odynx who seemed to get attached with people and having a connection felt 'betrayed' or could it be said as 'leaving in the past'. He never been attached to anybody else until Thrim (the player / you) joined, he has been shutting off his feelings or atleast bottling it up to make it seem he is fine but in reality, is he even fine?

He rarely goes outside except to buy food and by that, he only interact unless his forced too.

He doesn't know how to interact or even know how to make a proper and continuing conversation.

He only there if he needs too, if there is already a conversation, he would join in the shadows and only speak very few much seemed in the earlier days when Thrim joined.

He seemed more proactive, more or even slightly happier when he can have a connection or try their best to make a connection with him because he doesn't know how to.

Albeit, he is NOT a baby, he is an adult who struggles with socialization. Struggling to have friends or acquintances that isn't just 'work'.

He believes that nothing is forever, more like.. "they will leave, they won't stay for that long." But yet he is proven wrong when someone truly want to be near him that isn't started by him and ask for something.

He felt more 'free' to talk to them, thus want to talk more and if he felt like he is intruding, he will retreat faster.

Another banner contest come and went (￣^￣)ゞ Almost didn't do one this time but the artist in me had other ideas it seemed anyhow I'm going to have a small real moment under the cut, feel free to scroll on past if you don't wish to read I will not hold it against you, scout's honor (^-^)ゝ

Hello, I'm sure people who see my art here regularly or had seen me active on the discord server frequently as of just a few months ago would most likely know I have not been online like I used to be. I have been practically missing the past month or so, not logging online or even picking up my art tablet in general, this is one of the very few art pieces I've done since Nightowls birthday. I assure I am in one piece, but I have been struggling with health as of late. Furthermore, I'm not really one to give some huge overdramatic sob story on how I'm miserable or something along those lines, this isn't a reality TV show after all. However, this is something that does come and go from my life frequently, It's nothing anyone should worry themselves on, it's not fatal, just painful. I don't want to be a page that spreads negative vibes or anything LMAO, but I won't always be able to do art or be online consistently, so I'd rather not set any standard for that now. Especially since in the next few years I plan on making some of my very own VN's to share with everyone. I don't plan to make this a big thing, this is my one post on it and done (at least that is the hope). Of course, thank y'all for enjoying my art and always giving a warm welcome when I pop into the server, means more than you know. :] Also, happy banner contest season y'all, can't wait to see everyone on Onynx's Birthday in July!!
