So it’s mermay, and the best thing for me to think of to start off with was my gijinka King Boo as an octopus. He’s about to throw stones in many ways, it seems.

And don’t worry, I got more merfolk coming. This idea was just the strongest at the moment. 😂

So I'm getting around to posting some of my old art. I haven't drawn in quite a while, but I'm still pretty happy with some of it.

Anyway, this is Humphrey (Ink-pen & colored pencil on paper, don't have an exact date. More than 10 years ago). He's probably based on a Giant Pacific Octopus.

Octopus aliens… I know they don’t look very “alien” but I like them anyway! They’re very fashionable. Their space ships are made from glass, with algae that transfers electrical data inside… looks very cool, one day I’ll be able to render it properly lol.
