Today, I present ocs!!! The cat lady is named Akat and the strange corpse guy is Elknor

Akat is inspired by Bastet and ball-jointed dolls (although you can't really see it - she's supposed to be covered in a fine, fuzzy, velvety material to cover her joints) and Elknor is inspired by those fascinating bejeweled catacomb saints These are just drafts - I still have work to do on both of them, but especially Elknor And here I have their first drafts!!!

They both share the same little symbol (on Akat's nose and Elknor's hood) - it's a mark of the God they serve! They were created by her to keep the peace on her molded planet between not just the denizens of said planet but also protect from unfriendly outsiders The face on Elknor's armor is a tribute to the 'Twisted Mother' who created the God Akat and Elknor serve I hope you like them!!!

Fair warning - i have not seen the end of Clone Wars and so some of this might change as I watch.

(created by accidentally drawing a clone armor helmet just a Smidge bit too Mandalorian. It spawned a whole OC.)

(first drawing on the left - what spawned Akator. Second is me designing the rest of his armor, my attempt to blend Mandalorian and clone trooper armor. Its his first set post order 66.)

Pre- Order 66 characterization:

His name was Chip, given to him when his brothers noticed he collected a rock or two from each planet they visit. He had some on display in the barracks and sometimes he would give them out as a gift.

(at first, it irritated his fellow soldiers. They complained it was useless, not practical, but once they saw a particularly beautiful rock, they weren't able to complain without it sticking in the back of their throats. They realized a lot of beauty in the midst of the war.)

(but in the end, his brothers knew they'd be getting something when he came back with an ever so slightly buldging bag. They tucked their presents away safely and treasured them. When one of them didn't survive, his rocks were placed on whatever grave they made. Sometimes, the graves looked more like shrines with how they sparkled in the sunlight. It baffled Separatist geologists on occasion.)

He enjoyed recon and other nonbattle times for that reason - he could find new, interesting rocks from the places they went. It was useful to his Commander on occasion and he usually was sent on recon for that reason. He also happened to like it a lot, and that enthusiasm was always nice.

He prefered to blend in, for the most part. He didn't mind being in the background as long as he protected his vode, and it let him collect more rocks to bring back.

He was transfered to the 212th later - nothing special, just an average soldier. His rock collection was noticed at some point and his new command picked up the same pattern of sending him on recon.

He got some really interesting rocks.

Post-order 66:

(this is not as developed yet)

- he finds a Mandalorian covert, hiding out and seeks refuge. They take him in and he choses his name - Akator - while he's there.

(it's the Mando'a words for mission and justice. He's absolutely not the person who should be honoring them - he's not worthy, he's not good enough, but he's the only one. And someone has to keep their memories alive.

And he has to honor the Jedi too. The keepers of peace, knights of Justice. it's the least he can do to make up for it.)

He finds his rocks again and almost tosses them off a cliff before gently packing them into a bag and keeping them with him. He can't dishoner his vod like that but he can't bring himself to add more.

So instead, he brings scraps of beskar whenever he can back to his covert. Sometimes, its barely more than a flake, but.... it's something like penace. It's all he can do.

Eventually, he is all but ordered to forge a new set of armor. His previous is falling to pieces and the armor threatens to skewer anyone who would doubt his worthiness of the beskar.

(that includes him, they add. you might not believe it yet, but you are.)

(No-one comments on how his armor looks more trooper than Mandalorian, but then again, there's not too much of a difference.

Maybe one day it'll change. It's not actually a problem. )

And so he takes up offically the Resol'nare. It's... almost something like more penance, and he is deeply grateful for it.

He won't fail his vode again.

(literally his whole character was created by yelling about the possibility of him exploring his Mandalorian heritage with @hella-cious , thank you so much for yelling with me and helping me create him.)

The reason for this is that my muses tend to respond aggressively to unsolicited advances, and I don’t always feel comfortable answering in character.

I won’t thread for anyone but long-term friends or those who respect and understand the dynamics of my characters.

I reserve the right to determine who does and does not meet the above qualifications.

    How selective are you in shipping?

It usually takes me two to three sentences of a reasonable argument/AU to ship something, but I won’t do all the work to make it “happen.”

Further: Just because I generally ship something, doesn’t mean that I will automatically ship my muse with yours. Different muns have different portrayals and different writing styles for the same muses; sometimes these portrayals click. Other times they don’t.

    What if my character doesn’t meet yours in canon?

That’s fine! Just ask or dm me with how you want them to interact (friends? Rivals? Comrades? Etc), plus a scenario where they do meet, and I will tell you how my muse will react in that situation, and then we’ll move on from there.

    What if I want to make an AU for our muses?

Same as above! Give me an idea and we’ll talk about it.

I generally have a lot of open-ended verses that I adapt to fit other people’s muses and ideas. You are free to propose a variation on them, or another verse entirely. However, I won’t be doing all the work in order to get our characters to meet, interact and like/dislike each other—that’s unfair, and too much work on one mun.

If you’re having trouble, start with— “I really think it’s cool if X and Y character—“ etc. Or how you think our characters would work together.

    What if I accidentally break a rule of yours?

If you’re a mutual, I will take a screenshot of the rule and kindly remind you to abide by them. If you’re a stranger, I will automatically soft block or block, depending on how badly the rule was broken and how uncomfortable I feel.

I don’t make these rules to be mean, but to save the time and energy of us all. So if these rules are disregarded, then we will have to cut our losses. I will unfollow when I feel like someone has not read my rule page, and not be inclined to interact.

      What if my character doesn’t meet yours in canon?

That’s fine! Just ask or dm me with how you want them to interact (friends? Rivals? Comrades? Etc), plus a scenario where they do meet, and I will tell you how my muse will react in that situation, and then we’ll move on from there.

      What if I want to make an AU for our muses?

Same as above! Give me an idea and we’ll talk about it.

I generally have a lot of open-ended verses that I adapt to fit other people’s muses and ideas. You are free to propose a variation on them, or another verse entirely. However, I won’t be doing all the work in order to get our characters to meet, interact and like/dislike each other—that’s unfair, and too much work on one mun.

If you’re having trouble, start with— “I really think it’s cool if X and Y character—“ etc. Or how you think our characters would work together.

      What if I accidentally break a rule of yours?

If you’re a mutual, I will take a screenshot of the rule and kindly remind you to abide by them. If you’re a stranger, I will automatically soft block or block, depending on how badly the rule was broken and how uncomfortable I feel. 

I don’t make these rules to be mean, but to save the time and energy of us all. So if these rules are disregarded, then we will have to cut our losses. I will unfollow when I feel like someone has not read my rule page, and not be inclined to interact.

If you’re unsure if you have broken a rule, please politely ask. I don’t bite really.

Lil Leffy Hop
