And now the rest of characters recreated in Soul Calibur VI! I'll try to keep it shorter than the last post, but no promises.

(btw I made a sideblog, once I'm done with swtor related part of Soul Calibur VI, I'm moving all SC realted stuff there ---> @soul-engraver)

I kinda? figured out a way to make togrutas and twi'leks in SC. Sort of. The game does different species (races?), but none that resemble those from star wars. However, there are 3 slots for special equipment that can be positioned (almost) however you like, so I chose some that somewhat resemble lekku and montrals. It's pretty wonky, and placing these on the heads looks very silly, so I added headgear to cover it a little (though for some reason Iressa looks better without headgear, just the cornrows)

I know that I could just not recreate them here, but something about having these characters interact (even if only through fights) just brings me some joy.

(I say joy as if three of them don't have their lives ruined as the result of interacting with each other)

Hair and face are waaaay off, but this game lets me give Rya a double-bladed weapon that can separated in two blades, and that's exactly her fighting style in my headcanon (in SWTOR I have two versions of Rya, one as shadow, other as sentinel for this exact reason).

Here I tried to recreate Vylneer, Auletta's secret apprentice, and the reason she looks so different in these pictures is exactly because she is a secret apprentice.

The first outfit is her 'official' appearance. Nox can't exactly hide the fact that she has a second apprentice, but she went to great lengths to hide Vyl's identity. In public when she's known as Kallig's apprentice, Vylneer wears robes that cover every inch of her skin and make her body difficult to recognize, and a mask that also modifies her voice.

The second outfit is for her cover identity as a mercenary (though I'm not sure if she's hiding the Sith eyes or not), since she was already living among the gangs of Nar Shaddaa prior to her training. And the third is her new cover identity that was used to infiltrate the Alliance and spy on them. In order to make herself less recognizable, Vyl changed hairstyle and tattoos. The goal wasn't to completely change her appearance, because this cover identity is just a continuation of the previous one, just not revealed to most people (though she does slip up once).

of course! so mykal is baby lol. in all seriousness though i think he is the most dutiful of all of the oleander siblings, seeing as every step he takes in his entire life time is done for the sake of the family name. as the only son and thus the rightful heir of the great house, he's carried the weight of the world on his shoulder's for as long as he can recall. as the youngest, mykal grows up fairly separated from his sisters as they were either in the capital or married while he was growing up. he is a closeted bisexual with a preference for males but ultimately marries a female regardless to keep the oleander legacy going. he is also the only oleander sibling that i know for a fact will live to see the dance through until the end.

4. Is your oc's environment supportive about their identity? How does this impact them?

Well, Kyira isn't queer, so I'm not sure this question applies here. (although she's flattered if she gives off queer vibes)

Xaele, agenderfluid asexual lesbian, they/them or she/her

(Congratulations, this question made me reevaluate their identity, so it's different from what I previously said)

With Xaele it's more interesting. Admittedly, I don't know enough Chiss lore, so no idea how they treat queer identities. I want to think that it has little meaning in their society, and that could lead Xaele to not question their identity bc it's irrelevant. When it comes to Imperial Intelligence, they were a little concerned that Xaele might not use seduction when it is useful bc of their asexuality. However, it's not a big problem for Xaele - while she doesn't like it, she sacrifices a lot more than just comfort for the job.

It did influence the way they see intimacy - as a tool, not something they can actually enjoy for the sake of pleasure. When it comes up in the relationship with Lana, it needs a lot of work. Takes a lot of trust and learning from Xaele to do it, but in the end it works out.

Bal'sara, bisexual cis woman, she/her

First, I'll give my thoughts about how Jedi probably view this in general, and then how it impacted Bal specifically.

I don't see the Jedi being homo/trans/aphobic bc why would they be? Jedi strive for knowledge, to understand the world around them and within them. They seek to achieve harmony, and that can't be done if you do not know yourself or have an internal conflict. Pretty sure the Jedi teach younglings and padawans about different identities and all that, so they wouldn't feel scared or confused or misunderstood when discovering their own identities.

As to how it impacted Bal'sara - positively. When she started having doubts and questions about her identity, she went to either her master or whoever was in charge of teaching this stuff, and they helped her navigate through this. In her free time Bal did more self-exploration, tried different things, and before she was knighted, she was already confident in her identity as cisgender bisexual woman.

10. Does your oc celebrate Pride? How?

I'm not sure how I would approach the concept of Pride in Star Wars (and tbh I know little about it irl), so this is more of 'what if my characters existed in real life'.

Xaele - probably not, they have too much going on and no time or energy to celebrate. She appreciates its existence though.

Kyira - tags along with her queer friends if they celebrate.

Bal'sara - hell yeah she would celebrate with her girlfriend.

14. Do you have ocs on the aro or ace spectrum?

Yes! Their number grew bigger especially after me realizing that I'm ace and learning more about nuances in ace and aro spectrums. Admittedly, I don't have a lot of aromantic characters, but maybe it's bc they haven't told me yet.

Xaele, Myk and Rykeer are asexual; Shailla and Drechard are demisexual; Auletta and Lorri are aroace.

Also, I'm beginning to think Jett is somewhere on the asexual spectrum as well, but no specific label yet (maybe grey asexual?)

And Jaria strikes me as aromantic, but I'm reluctant about this bc for now she would be my only aromantic OC, and that's a bit problematic, considering her personality. (yeah, I have two aroace characters, but to me aroace is a little different to asexual or aromantic)

Well, I'm not yet completely set in my identity (it's mostly to do with aromantic spectrum and gender identity), but any asexual character has this in common with me (see above).

aaah, great question pal! i think i have my mind made up for most of them, so i will list my ocs’ alignments and a brief description of why they chose that respective side below.

*TEAM GREEN/ALICENT’S PARTY:

aliza oleander (née hightower) — due to being the sister of otto and aunt of alicent.

juliaena tyrell (née oleander) — due to being the cousin of alicent.

mykal oleander — due to being the cousin of alicent. also served as her son, aegon’s political ally.

rhaerion targaryen — originally sided with the blacks at his sister, rhaenys’ behest, but later switched allegiances in order to gain favor for vivienne oleander’s hand.

torvi (the right eye) — due to becoming involved with prince aemond.

vivienne oleander — sided with the queen’s party out of her loyalty and blood relation to alicent (it might be fair to note she was manipulated into choosing sides). encouraged by her fondness of her cousin’s children.

*NEUTRAL OR UNINVOLVED:

jaehra targaryen — never cared for politics (or really anyone but herself) so she never vouched for either side

mortin oleander — died before either party commenced

Got an idea and spent the whole day working on it: making a poster for each of my legacies (ngl got inspired by a post on reddit). Don't know how it turned out with my lack of experience, but I kinda like it? Anyway, here are 2 versions bc I like both equally.

Didn't know you could talk to these guys in cutscenes (instead of them just saying a line when you click on them). This happens after winning the Great Hunt and before the ceremony. I escaped conversation with the Huntmaster just to run around, and apparently those guys have someone to say (nice stuff). Hearing that hunter who gave up on Dromund Kaas say that you inspired him and others gave me additional serotonin (I had some by simply replaying BH story bc I love it).

Anyway, I'll try to click on NPCs more often, bc they still have surprises.

Space Barbie update, sale edition 2/2

I've spent a bit more cartel coins than I expected. No regrets though.

Okay, okay, one more outfit for Jett and I'll stop. Love the look, even if I have minor complaints (like how it dyes weird or too big pockets, but those are details and don't spoil the general impression). This is her updated mandalorian armor, mix of Mandalorian Stormbringer and Infamous Bounty Hunter sets (too bad it's gone by the time of Alliance).

And continuing with mandalorians, Myk also got an update on his armor! Unlocked Mandalorian Stormbringer in collections because I thought the helmet and belt would look nice with Myk's armor. Didn't even have to dye it, chestpiece is good on itself.

Also, I remembered that Xaetel is supposed to have a new lightsaber built from Zakuul Knight's pike while being stuck there, and it just so happens that I have Tythian lightsaber. Not a perfect option, but then I simply can't afford Senya's lightsaber (that looks like a pike), so unlocking this one was a good alternative, plus it looks cool. As soon as 7.0 comes out, I'll assign a second combat style to Xaetel so he'll be able to use one lightsaber without damage loss.

Did I mention I remade one of my agents to replay the story? That's all good, but outfits won't just copy themselves to another server, so had to go around.

First, got Intelligence Agent for all characters (which was 60 coins instead of 100 as I expected, which is nice) (last outfit). In addition to that, unlocked Frontline Slicer for nice belt and boots. Also got two rifles - DLA-13 heavy blaster rifle bc it's very close to common Imperial rifles, and Primordial rifle that Xaele uses after the end of class story.

Then got field (first) and sort of uniform (second) outfits. And the third outfit is also for field, Skiff Guard, unlocked for the account.

(there are two more outfits, but they are works in progress)

Then, in the middle of winter, I attempt to put a beach outfit for Raen (because ofc she needs one) without Resort Swimwear (because I was late to armor sale and didn't want to spend any more money than I already have on previous set). Turned out, I had Darth Andeddu's set in collections, and since it has alright looking shorts I unlocked it, half of the problem solved. Getting a top that would look like swimsuit (even more like bikini, not metal though) was tough, and, really, I didn't find good affordable option, so Republic Dancer top it is, plus some bright colors. I kinda like it?

Speaking of beaches, I always wondered where the hell people got beach decorations. Apparently they appear on CM for limited time, and this time I was lucky (plus sale 50%). Didn't get much, just an umbrella, a rug and some drinks.

Unrelated to the sale, but since it only happened when I subbed, I'm adding it here. Airistan runs with a red lightsaber for some time (whole third chapter of class story; the Sith gave it to her while she was under Emperor's control, and she kept it so her revenge on Vitiate would be poetic), but after that I doubt she'd keep it. So new lightsaber with new color crystal. Not red, but also not exactly orange (as her lightsaber before meeting the Emperor), something in between. It's Fire Red crystal (the crafted one), and it fits her well. Lightsaber is Eternal Champion's lightsaber.

Also unlocked a couple of toys, emotes and weapons for everyone to use.

This little nerd. Val is a big nerd for history (just as any inquisitor out there, I suppose), but they prefer to read about less known aspects, so when they reference it, people usually get confused. Well, sometimes Talos can proudly yell “Ha! That’s a clever pun, my lord!”.

So, I refused to get bored while having to be (almost) alone in another town for 3 days and took the laptop with me so I could play some SWTOR. What do you say? It’s too heavy to take for me yet (after the surgery)? I can’t hear ya.

Also, I actually named my meme toon Anakin Sandwalker properly! Yes, I had to put an “ä”, but it was worth it! And look at the lightsaber! It looks almost the same as Anakin’s. Now need to find a matching armor for him, which could get difficult.

I missed BH story so I played some BH story.

Crysta, I love you, but could you please not? Seems like doing the story with male BH will be much fun, huh.

I also realized that I never brought Gault with me after Quesh, and he never fails to entertain me.
