Happy Art Monday!
Today, I'm sharing a close-up of an intimate moment between Moon Jeong-Hui and Angeliki Alexakou. This piece focuses on a whisper, capturing the subtle emotions and connection between them.
Jeong-Hui is softly saying the 'ou' sound from the Korean word 'Noona', highlighting the tenderness of the moment.
I'm really proud of how this turned out, especially the shape of Jeong-Hui's lips. It was a real challenge to capture the sound of the whisper.
At first, I considered drawing their entire faces, but I think this composition adds a layer of mystery, intensity, and intimacy so I kept it that way.
As you may already know, I have problems visualizing faces, that's why I use real people to represent my characters, kind of like casting actors for a TV show. Casting is: Song Kang (Moon Jeong-Hui) and Vicky Papadopoulou (Angeliki Alexakou).
Stay tuned for more art and stories from the world of "The Heiress"!
Software used: Clip Studio Paint.

Happy Art Monday! I'm very excited to share the finished drawing of Moon Jeong-Hui, which I completed last Friday. I'm thrilled with how it turned out! I envisioned him with the likeness of the Korean actor Song Kang. As of today, it might be my best drawing. Since last week's WIP, I've made some changes: added a watch on his wrist, and now he's directly looking at us. His shirt collar features the embroidered logo of the workwear fashion brand managed by his company, Bertrand, called Elegance. Their slogan? "For everyone. Because you matter." Jeong-Hui stands in front of the vertical slats blinds of the meeting room, where he'll spend countless hours helping Angeliki manage her huge company. I loved drawing the watch, the logo, the glass surfaces of his glasses and watch, and of course, his hair. I'll share the time-lapse in the future. A bit more about Jeong-Hui: he was promoted to be Angeliki's secretary as a trap set by his supervisor, expecting him to fail. But Jeong-Hui is exceptional at his job. Starting at the bottom and climbing the ranks, he knows the company inside out. His dedication and problem-solving skills are unmatched. Without Jeong-Hui, the company's crisis at the start of the story would have caused severe damage, and Angeliki might not have survived without losing everything. He's truly indispensable. I might draw him more in the future, so stay tuned for that and the upcoming time-lapse!
Have a little quote from Jeong-Hui that fit this drawing perfectly: "Let me know if you need anything else, Noona."
Also you can find the playlist I listen to while drawing/writing anything related to "The Heiress" on spotify

Happy Art Monday!
Today I'm sharing a work-in-progress of Moon Jeong-Hui, from one of the many tales that live in my head but may never come to life. You may recognize him from the story I posted last Thursday on Instagram. If this were a TV show, the perfect person to portray him would be the Korean actor Song Kang.
Jeong-Hui, or Jun as his coworkers call him, is 31-year-old and the secretary of Angeliki, the heiress of a big company. Born in Korea to a Korean father and Japanese mother, he moved to France at the age of 3 and grew up in Lyon. Despite his modest origins and being bullied in school, his unwavering work ethic and problem-solving skills helped him climb the corporate ladder.
He likes hiking, experimenting with cooking and martial art training. At work, he exudes confidence and charisma, but beneath it all, he battles insecurities and the fear of failure. Supporting his family is a responsibility he embraces with pride, and he often finds himself clashing with conservative values while respecting traditions.
As a little bonus, the last slide is a picture I made on Picrew with ElenaA's Kiss Crew, capturing Jeong-Hui and Angeliki kissing.
Stay tuned for more updates, and let me know what you think!
