Headcanons for Sirius and Ernestine?

Also for Regulus and Ernestine too! <3

sirius + ernestine:

Sirius was Ernestine's first ever crush. He was super flattered by her obvious interest but considering she was too young for him, he opted to steer her attention to Regulus.

Thus, he is who we have to thank for that eventual ship hehe.

When Regulus perishes, they mourn him in very different ways that cause them to clash.

In spite of it all, Ernestine and Sirius become great friends in the long run. They serve as confidants to one another. Ernestine is also one of the few to support Sirius after he is accused and sent to Azkaban.

Ernestine welcomes him with open arms upon his release and they pretty much pick up where they left off. Sirius jokes about how much she has grown up and how attractive she is then, much to Ernestine's amusement (and Ron/Harry's discomfort lol). It's all innocent fun though as Sirius would never try to make a move on his little brother's beloved, and Ernestine would never move on with Sirius.

regulus + ernestine:

Regulus and Ernestine start off kind of as enemies of sorts. They are on opposites sides of the war and very different people, so it's safe to say they clash.

Of the two, Regulus is the first to fall considering he was already physically attracted to Ernestine. However, it takes a while for the Slytherin 'golden boy' to grow on Ernestine.

The fact that Regulus was a long time rival of her best friend, Alrdich Podmore, is another thing that factored into her initial dislike of him.

Once they actually managed to give each other a chance, it was a whirlwind of a romance. The pair fell fast and hard for each other, much to the dismay of their peers (who were mostly confused by it or against it).

Regulus and Ernestine were each other's first and only love.

Their love plays a role in Regulus' eventual break of loyalty to the dark lord.

Ernestine never moves on from Regulus. His death scars her deeply to the point where she changes dramatically as a person.

Ernestine hasn't stopped dressing in all black since he perished.
