I'm currently unhinged about my Mephala-loving, bug-obsessed, chain smoker- voiced Ashlander character.

Zabarbael "Shalk" Ashernuridan

At a very young age, his parents mysteriously disappeared and left him and his twin brother in the care of the Erabenimsun wise woman.

He got the nickname "Shalk" as a kid because of his fiery temper and his fascination for bugs. His fascination goes beyond a mere liking of the creatures however, as he feels a close kinship with anything 6 or 8 legged. Some even say he can speak with bugs. Even as an adult, most tribe members still call him Shalk instead of his actual name

Because of his fondness for insects and arachnids, he feels drawn to Mephala the most (out of the Three Good Daedra)

Probably has Mephala imagery tattooed on his body and/or scarifications that resemble spiders

Owns a nix ox mount gifted to him by the Ashkhan

Speaks with the typical raspy voice from TES 3 but with more of a hiss. He also chitters and makes clicking noises

He's aromantic and asexual

Works as the tribe's armour crafter, making weapons and gear out of chitin and bone.

tell us about your unhinged ashlander character! what are the basics.. and a few secret traits?

Hi there and thank you for asking!

I'm working on some art of him so you'll learn about my little spider-loving guy soon :U

For now I will say that he is one of my two Erabenimsun ocs and his nickname is ''Shalk'' because he shares his fiery temper with those fire-breathing beetles. And he loves bugs...feels connected to them even. Some say he can speak with arachnids and other chitinous creatures, a blessing from Mephala herself perhaps?

(I also play him in ESO)

Hi, thanks for asking!

1. What is the lie your character says most often?

This goes for several of my ocs, but I think it would be "I'm fine". Shalk doesn't like being soft and vulnerable, not physically, not emotionally, so he will definitely lie about his true feelings and hide them. (He does open up sometimes to his adoptive mother, the wise woman. And later he entrusts Seba with some of his feelings, though it's still difficult for him to talk about them)

23. What do they feel guilty for that the other person(s) doesn’t / don’t even remember?

A few years after their marriage, Shalk feels guilty for how harsh he treated Seba in the beginning. (Seba does remember this though, but it was the first thing I thought of)

He learns to be more patient with her and grows really fond of his wife, especially after they go through some rough situations together and learn to really rely on each other.

54. What’s their instinct in a fight / flight / freeze / fawn situation?

Fight!

The guy is a feral, hissing, snarling mess when it comes to combat. He favors javelins and spears in combat, but will absolutely rip someone's throat out with his teeth if he gets disarmed.
