Thanks for allowing me to write our OT3 🥺 also I feel bad it doesn’t have a lot of Teddy and it’s mostly Vendrik and Levi.

Levi had somehow gotten dragged out to the Aldecaldos camp by Vendrik and he wasn’t sure how the green haired man had convinced him. He felt out of his element, and he looked completely lost. He had gotten off work, met Vendrik outside of his apartment building before driving out to the Badlands. He was still in his work clothes which was clearly overdressed for spending time with the nomads. He was sitting on a couch, Vendrik behind him with his arms stretched out behind the couch. It was nice, but he noticed a few of the nomads staring weirdly at him and Vendrik.

“I think I’m going to get a beer. You want one?” Vendrik asked as Levi nodded. Vendrik stood up, walking over to grab a beer that sat in a crate by a table. Levi wasn’t paying attention, but Vendrik had stopped by the table to give Teddy a kiss and chat with him for a few minutes before returning back to the fire.

“Thanks.” Levi responded as he grabbed the beer and took a sip. The soft guitar music being played by one of the nomads around the fire was heard, along with soft conversations around the two.

“I was wondering… Did you want to go get some food? Or get away from this for a bit?” Vendrik motioned towards the group, knowing that Levi was feeling a bit off since this wasn’t normally his thing.

“We could do whatever you want, Ven.” Levi said as he watched Vendrik smile.

“Alright. Let me go grab something real quick and we can head out.” Vendrik had gotten up again and walked towards Teddy’s tent to grab something he had left there. Right as Levi was going to get up to walk to Vendrik’s car, the couch sunk in beside him.

“Don’t go on that date.” Panam had told him. He had only had one or two conversations with her, but knew her heart was in the right place.

“Why?” Levi was confused, but had a feeling he knew why.

“You know why.” She responded. A thousand things could be going through his mind at the moment, but he knew it had to be because of his corpo background and Vendrik was a nomad.

“Say it.” Levi dared Panam. She sat there, trying to figure out what to exactly say to him.

“Exactly, you can’t. You can’t say it’s because I wouldn’t want to leave the city when the clan moves. I don’t want to hurt him either but-“

“He’s dating Teddy.”

Silence. Panam didn’t want to tell him, not like this. He had to know. She didn’t want Levi to get his hopes up falling for someone who was already dating someone else. Levi sat there in disbelief for a few minutes, turning to glance over at Teddy who was playing a card game with the other Vets. How did he not know? How did he never realize? God, he felt like an idiot.

“Levi! You ready?” Vendrik called as he came back to the fire. He looked between Levi and Panam, raising a brow before Levi stood.

“Uh, yeah.” Levi said as he stood and followed Vendrik to his car. The two got in as they began driving towards the city to grab a bite to eat.

The entire drive was quiet, neither of them saying a word. Vendrik could feel something was off with Levi, but he didn’t want to push it in case he was overthinking everything. Vendrik had taken them to a small place, a little burger place just outside the city. It was small, but the food was still tasty. Vendrik had ordered the two of them food and sat down at the table, watching Levi. Vendrik let out a sigh before looking at Levi, a smile forming over his lips.

“So. I wanted to talk to you about something.” Vendrik finally said. He looked over to Levi who was avoiding eye contact with him. Vendrik felt hurt but he tried his best to just ignore the feeling.

“Yeah? What.” Levi answered. He was never short with his answers, which made Vendrik began to worry even more.

“Well, I like you, a lot. And I wanted-”

“Ven, look. I like you too but I can’t.” Levi interrupted him. Vendrik watched Levi, noticing he was now looking at him. “Panam told me. I’m not being a side piece for you. I’m not going to let you cheat on Teddy.” Levi explained as Vendrik rolled his eyes, his jaw clenching.

“Panam has nothing to do with my love life. Teddy and I have talked. We agreed that since we.. we both like you, we both wanted to date you.” Vendrik tried explaining to Levi. He didn’t know how to explain it to him but was trying his best. Levi sat there, processing everything as he finally met Vendrik’s glance.

“So you’re.. Not using me as a side piece? You both want to date me?” Vendrik nodded as Levi explained it back to him.

“If you want. I don’t want to push you if you don’t want to. It’s been something Teddy and I’ve talked about the last few days.” Vendrik looked at his hands, nervous and afraid that Levi would tell him no. He really, really liked him. He was just scared that he had let Levi know he liked him but would turn away because he was including Teddy in the mix.

“Well. This is a lot. Can… I think about it for a few days?” Levi asked as Vendrik nodded.

“Sure, yeah. Do you want to eat here? Or go home?” Vendrik watched a small smile form over Levi’s lips as he nodded.

A few days passed and Vendrik and Teddy hadn’t heard anything from Levi. He was a very busy man, working basically all hours of the day. A day off was rare it seemed, even rarer was a day off where he could relax without a care in the world. Vendrik was starting to think that Levi was ghosting them and didn’t want to date. Vendrik had sent Levi a few texts, just wanting to make sure he was alright but he never got a response. Just as he was giving up hope, he heard the roar of a familiar engine come to a stop. Walking out of the tent, where he and Teddy were relaxing, Vendrik spotted Levi getting out of his car, in more casual clothing.

“Hey. Sorry, work’s been a lot lately.” Levi smiled over at Vendrik and Teddy as the two looked at each other before back at Levi.

“No, I get it. Work takes a lot out of you. I’m just glad to see you.” Vendrik smiled as Levi looked between him and Teddy.

“If I remember, we have something to discuss?” Levi said, looking at the two. Vendrik watched Levi, a large smile moving over his lips as he motioned to Teddy’s tent. Levi moved to place a soft kiss to Vendrik’s cheek and then Teddy’s cheek with a large smile.

They were going to make this work.
