How do I pick? LMAO. For Kendis, of all my characters --

I will say of the many picrew I have done two of my more fond ones are this beetlejuice looking bit and this dark academia mountain man look.

The colors of the last one aren't my fave, but it is the patterns and the hair for me. As for the first, I love Kendis in reds and purples. I also love short coily haired Kendis.

Future headcanon

I think, once all of this is done, I would like Kendis to leave [REDACTED]. As much as I am anti-cop!Kendis -- I could see them staying there because they put a lot of work into it. They don't have such ties to the new job, so maybe a career change would happen. But I definitely see them going to travel, and IF they come back opening a small business in Wayhaven. And, if they don't, go back to school or find some sort of noteriaty to make money.

Kendis takes Douglas under their wing. I don't know if they end up with Nate or Ava or both. Maybe eventually. They stay close with M and F though. Not as close as before, but still. They are in contact with Tina. Them and Verda are very tight tho ... and strangely Captain Sung is still on their contact list.

When do you think they were being "themselves" the most?

All the time -- but never as much as Nate some might want/expect.

Hrm. When is Kendis 100% Kendis? I think when they're in the kitchen and when they're on a mini-adventure. Away from Wayhaven, trying a new hobbie or restaurant. I think Verda and Tina ... and Hayley have gotten the most Kendis of Kendises, and probably Verda the most.

Val:

Your favorite outfit of them

Simple, always. I am fond of Val with a leather jacket and a tank top/t-shirt. But I feel rolled up sleeves Val is the best look, or tank top Val sans jacket. Especially with the hair a little long and floppy.

Future headcanon

I see a future for them and Adam. I do not think they stay in Wayhaven. I feel Val might stay a detective. I think they do something with kids -- I don't know about foster parents, but big brother/big sister?

I don't know, I just see these two together and domestic, but not fully in the traditional sense.

When do you think they were being "themselves" the most?

I think when they get to work in the garage -- but when they are on their own. A front comes up when the garage workers show up. I think more and more - slowly - around Tina, and a slower around Felix. Tina pushes for sleepovers and showing Felix the world is fun. And Val is starting to trust they will stick around, that they will accept them [Felix, especially. Tina and they have had bad rubs in the past so they are lest sure there but it is happening].

Their ears are pierced. No, tattoos (but maybe eventually. I go back and forth if Val would have one. Maybe something small). YES for scars, they love working on cars, they used to do hair, and are a reckless one. I'm sure they have a few burn marks.

No.

7. Do they have any fears?

The supernatural. Failing at their job that means more than they admit. Disappointing a dead man. Abandonment -- now particularly Adam and Felix and Tina flavored.

24. Do they have any keepsakes from their father?

I don't know. I feel like maybe a necklace or a ring, something Val keeps stored away.

30. Any funfacts about them you'd like to add?

As I mentioned above, Val used to do hair! They went to cosmotology school (they used to practice on Tina). They love to work on cars as a hobby. They've seen the Rush Hour movies like three times each.

💍 RING — does your oc have any piercings? do they want any (more) piercings?

Val: Ear lobes only. They'd consider a brow ring. Maybe nostril.

Lala: No, I don't think so. Maybe tongue. Tattoos are their needle activity of choice. So, while they wouldn't be against considering it, there's no desire for it (watch i change my mind in a week, bc i forgot i said this)

🩹 ADHESIVE BANDAGE — does your oc have any physical and/or mental disabilities?

Val: Physical, they wear glasses -- I can't remember which sight type I said they had. But things are blurry without, so. Mental: hRM. I cannot say I've given specific thought to it. I wouldn't be surprised if Val had an anxiety disorder -- I'll have to research. Probably mild depression. 90% sure the detective has CPTSD. So. Like, yeah.

Lala: I don't think so. Nothing physical. As far as mental -- I have like the vague thought that Lala has a mental disability / mental health issue and has learned to successfully manage it. But I'm not sure what it is yet. But Lala is where I want to be, lmao.

I'm taking this as an ooc/out of verse way and rather than people in their universe/ic might not know.

Val:

Val's hair has never been past mid-neck since they hit their teens.

I think Adam might be their first love. I'm always on the fence on how much relationship experience Val has had.

It isn't always obvious in pics, so I guess I'll add: They have vitiligo!

Lala:

Lala is very good at math. In another life they probably would've been a stats or economy teacher.

Lala has numerous tattoos, but small ones. Like the tiny ones you'd get on a finger or on your ankle, neck, etc.

They dyed their hair a rich, bright blue once. Straightened it too. But it was such a hassle to maintain.

🐉 DRAGON — what is your oc's favorite mythical creature?

Val: Bruce Willis in Die Hard? Jackie Chan? John Wick? Um, I don't know. There is the weirdest of thought that mythical creatures could be supernatural creatures -- and that's a disturubing though. Val would probably think a pegasus is cool.

Lala: I don't think Lala is a myths person. Like cool stories, but I don't feel they seek out said stories at all, though they're aware of them. Probably even less so than Val. But since they love cats, maybe Chimera.

Kai: at glance: what a well-dressed, daring young man. but that attire isn't appropriate for a detective. after speaking with him: .... well .... he's certainly no nonsense.

Val: at glance: someone tell them the fifties is over? after speaking with them: what a little shit.

Pierre: at glance: What a square/what a straight laced looking gent. After speaking with him: What a nice and helpful young man.

As for your question: it is harder for me to figure my IF ocs mbti, because I don't write them the same way -- and I like to write them before I take a quiz. But I do have guesstimates for some!

Kendis - it might surprise some people is - ESFJ [enneagram 8w7]. I've gotten ENFJ for them -- but I think it is partially because I struggle with sensors at time, but when you look at the stacks, ESFJ work better. And even just going with some of the online summaries or comments on forums, she is very much ESFJ [even if some ENFJ beats do hit].

Andy was ISFP -- another unexpected one, another that leans a little -- because outwardly he can play ISFJ fairly well. Especially when he is younger. I don't recall his enneagram -- 6w5?

Infamous MCs: BJ is INFJ, Hiyam is ESTP, Ori is ENFP [PROBABLY a 7], Alana is ISFP [lol - Alana and Andy boggled], Lala is ISTP.

Keep in mind these are subject to changing when I learn them better.

🎄 CHRISTMAS TREE — what is your oc's favorite holiday?

Kendis: Fun fact, I was thinking about this the other day. Windows likes to pop up in their search section with different holidays, and it reminded me of a thing Kendis used to do when I rp'd them -- In short, the most obscure holidays or national days Kendis would post about them. They knew about donut day or like national friendship day or international pancake day ... black love day!, and so on. Some times they would inform about the history and stuff. She would also be the sort to make a big deal about somewhat known but not as commercialized holidays. Mardi Gras? Arbor Day? Don't worry Kendis got your back. Just a fun tidbit

Kendis' favorite holiday probably is something like National Forest Day, roflmao. I don't remember if I really gave them one. Kendis even likes Easter and they're agnostic. I feel any holiday that its culturally acceptable for them to participate and has festivities attached to it, she was down for. I won't lie tho. Christmas probably Gets Focus the most out of all the holidays, but when they're near their loved ones.

Val: Hmm. I almost went with Christmas but I think I'm going to say Halloween. I think Christmas might make Val sad. But Halloween is fun, full of mischief and pranks and people judge you less for slacking off [I mean for Christmas they to but ... yeah]. I think Val would be partial to holidays where people are rowdy -- to the point they'd probably consider superbowl a holiday. Making fun of drunk people is a pastime. It also gets them out the station.

💚 GREEN HEART — does your oc prefer being inside or outside?

Kendis: I suppose both is cheating. So, I'm going to say outside. Their og!mom is a park ranger and I tend to have Kendis' from Montana; the famed Big Sky Country. If I remember correctly, I believe I've said Kendis knows how to ride a horse. They definitely learned to shoot; probably to use a knife and fish as well. If it is nature affiliated, Kendis adores it. I often have Kendis roaming about in woods - that's why qunari Kendis and dragon kendis have halla and deer type horns. Kendis' prefered mode of transportation are their feet and bikes [Bicycle Day is April 19th! ;-P]. Yeah, actually, I think going with 'outside' suits their curious nature well. Even when in a city - especially in a new place - Kendis enjoys being out and about; finding hole-in-the-wall places to eat, searching for the best thrift stores, chatting with and minding their business people, and so on.

Val: I almost went outdoors, but I would say indoors. I don't think Val goes out much, at least not in Wayhaven. They don't want to sit still nor do they want to do paperwork, but I don't think that means they want to be out and about just to be out and about. I say indoors, but they have to be doing something, I feel. Val's preferred time off is working on bikes -- motorcycles, mopeds, and the like.

🍝 SPAGHETTI — what is/are your oc's favorite food(s)?

Kendis: They just like to eat? I honestly don't remember ... actually, no. Kendis loves gumbo. I think that is One Of their favorites

Val: does a monster count? lol. Maybe a hot dog? Actually, I think I'm going to say cheetos. I feel Val likes something they can probably quickly open with one hand [and some teeth] and chow down as easily; so I think like popcorn, etc. Something probably unhealthy for them if they eat continuously. Honestly a shock that they dont have scurvy ....

😓 DOWNCAST FACE WITH SWEAT — is your oc open-minded or stubborn? are they inquisitive or do they prefer to keep to their bubble of knowledge?

Kendis: Kendis is both the bullet train and the impending wall. Kendis is open-minded in a sense that if you can challenge them or pique their curiosity you might have a chance of shifting them off track; it is hard for them to resist a dare and they're nosy. Actually, I feel Kendis' sense of "open-mindedness" is like A's ... stubborn as all heck but not against being pushed or shifting what they know with different information. Though, with Kendis I feel they're more inclined at digging their heels when they feel 'in their gut' something is off. Maybe if they were 900+ years old they would be more bendable. lmao. So basically that is my long winded way of saying Kendis is stubborn af. LMAO. As for the second question, Kendi is actually quite inquisitive lmao. I think it works out for Kendis the balance [though not always evenly balanced] of 'immovable object' type of stubbornness vs their 'unstoppable force' of a curiosity is that Kendis is a compassionate creature. So, lmao, the thing that gets her shifting her views about people [in minuscule steps] is sympathy. As for objects and topics, it is in fact that they're kinda know-it-all. Imagine if some bitch ass punk they hated caught them with a n ignorant view and embarrassed them?? Ooo wee. Never gonna happen. So, I guess in short -- Kendis' pride is the fuel but also the stopper of their stubbornness lmao.

Val: Val is stubborn. It is hard to get Val to shift certain perspectives and beliefs. This is why they still radiate with dislike for Rebecca at a level - at times - that feels like they're still the child that was hurt. It is to the point that I'm actually surprised that they forgave Adam for the kiss and wants to fight for him - they tend, I feel, against things that damage their self value. I think when they have a case, they go in ... actually, I feel they sort of go in empty. I think maybe they want to know as little as possible if they need to be at site. Because otherwise they would go in with preconceived notions.

Hrm.

Let's see:

TWC MCs:

Let's knock Kai out of there. Kai isn't doing that. Even Nat couldn't convince him. But he probably will do black nailpolish and eye shadow, maybe black lipstick. LOL. I think he actually does like Halloween aesthetically and filmly.

I think Pierre does something simple and maybe a tad [unexpectedly, to everyone except his close buds and Felix, who is his closest of buds ;-D] goofy. Maybe a funky tie or flower that if you press it says something silly. He might put on vampire teeth if it's like kids trick or treating. Felix could probably bully him into dressing up though or a couple's costume. Maybe someone/a pair from a book. Or something like a painter and their painting -- I feel that's win win; Felix gets to be creative and colorful, Pierre gets to make Felix happy and be a nerd.

Andy usually doesn't do Halloween -- the only times he might do a costume is for some office party [he shows up and then leaves] or for Verda's kids [but the latter is rarely asked for, blessed]. A gussy-upping of his suits. Maybe Dracula [haha] or a robber baron [I bet he owns a top hat and cane qwerrs lol]. I feel ONCE he was Lurch for the kids. Don't tell anyone, he didn't hate it.

Val usually goes as various rock stars -- especially between 60-80s and especially if they're big on black or white. It gives them a chance to show off their hair and make up skills. Once they definitely went as John Travolta in Grease, so.

It depends who Kendis is dressing for and where they're going. If it's something fun with friends or like an office party -- maybe something like Regine from Living Single or Max from the same show; a fave character of theirs [usually someone bitchy and/or sassy. Once they went as Regina George in a game I played them in, but with pants]. If it's for the kids -- something spooky, but appropriately so. Like Morticia Addams. If it's a late at night, adult's only, I can see them doing something like dream house murder barbie or tiana the undead -- taking something cute and making it horror [and sexy ofc].
