Okay so here are top 5 I'm hyperfixating on rn,,,

Tapio Isotalo (aka Varjo, aka Tuomas Isotalo, Tuomas is the fandom oc version of him whereas Tapio is the Original Story version, but they're pretty much the exact same character it's just that Tuomas knows John Constantine): teenage vigilante/bard. Ran away from an abusive home, learned magic, adapted it, can now cast spells using his favorite prog and power metal songs. Plays violin. Loves astronomy. If his abusive father was found mysteriously dead, that's his business ❤

Elanestra (aka Elia, Evanna, Elaine, Evangeline... I could do this all day): genderfluid shapeshifter demon, heavily inspired by Loki. Started off as a human in medieval England, born female but lived life as a man so she could be a knight and so she could marry her true love, Liana. Sold her soul to save Liana's life. Acts as a sort of guardian to Tapio. Eventually becomes the Queen of Hell, enacts serious reforms so that Hell is about rehabilitation rather than punishment. May or may not be the personification of my desire for prison reform.

Sasha (aka Sasha McKay): cyborg journalist. Has chronic pain, an extensive collection of gloves, and serious problems with authority. Wants kids more than anything but is afraid of actually being a parent bc their own parents are grade-a assholes. Their blood is black for some reason, please don't ask about it, they don't know and they're honestly really tired of having it pointed out.

Taavi Hakala: half Betazoid raised by humans. In way over his head with the whole telepathy thing, which he has more of than he's supposed to, he thinks. Really likes Nightwish and got his Vulcan/Bajoran best friend into them. Owns multiple corsets. Plays bass and has several of the basses Marko Hietala plays. Extremely friendly. Doesn't get angry easily, but when he does, you better run. A surprisingly good swordsman.

Cas Jackson: tallest bitch in this Stargate Trio (a group of characters made up of him, Erin Carter, and Jordan O'Neill). The only one of them with any impulse control (as long as you keep him away from any bookstores). Has a natural talent for linguistics, so he made a career of it. Style best described as "goth academia." Constantly losing his glasses.

I've realized that my ocs are probably so confusing for y'all bc I have like six different Sashas (one of whom doesn't have a last name), two Clockwork Angels, and Tuomas Isotalo and Tapio Isotalo are variations on the same character (who's also sometimes called Varjo), and Taavi is sometimes called Tuomas by One Specific Person bc of a running joke between them, and the Oceanborn crew are both a program from the USS Tribble Threat rp and part of their own thing, and a character named Elaine who looks an awful lot like Floor Jansen has been featured in multiple things, and Baz is kinda two people bc I completely revamped his character at one point. I am sincerely sorry for all this confusion however I will not be doing anything to make it less confusing ❤

He is! Usually. He can be overconfident bordering on arrogant at times, but honestly that kinda comes with getting a lot of power at a young age,,, but aside from sometimes being a cocky little shit, he's very friendly! All he really wants to do is help people, and he has a skill that allows him to do that, sometimes on a huge scale.

Tapio is not even my tallest,,, Liselotte is 6'4 and Aurora is 6'5! I think he's my tallest guy tho. So many of my tallest characters are women (or genderless Jason Momoa lookalikes, in Aurora's case).

Anyway ignore my last question bc I found the answer 😂 Zander is the same height as my boy Tapio, so that's fun!

I have a magical boy named Tapio who this happens to quite a bit bc he's always trying to test and expand his limits! It also occasionally happens to Damien if he has to maintain an illusion for too long, especially a bigger or more complex one :)

It's good for superpowered characters to have weaknesses! I totally don't do this just for whump reasons, what are you talking about? (I absolutely do)

 I don’t mind at all! I do find these characters super interesting and you have some great whumpy thoughts!

 That being said, PASSING OUT FROM OVERUSE OF POWERS GOOD

 I constantly wish I had oc’s with powers because it’s one of my absolute favorite tropes, it’s SO good

I also feel like Zander and Tapio are too close to the same size (in both height and weight/muscle) to pick each other up but that it would not stop either of them from trying
