Introducing Stacey Sagal - A Charlie’s Angels (2019) OC!

When Elena Houghlin mentioned moving across the world to work with Brock Industries on a new piece of technology, her best friend and roommate Stacey Sagal immediately packs her bags to move with her. They’re BFFs, of course she’d go with. And it’s not like any place they move to couldn’t use a new mechanic; Stacey has the best auto skills in the world, she can get a job anywhere.

But when Elena works to expose her superior and Brock's head of development, Peter Fleming, for covering up a potentially dangerous flaw in Calypso, an energy conservation device she helped invent that can trigger fatal seizures when used--Stacey is hyped for her best friend to get the bad guys out and claim her rightful place in the technological world.

But that comes with a drawback neither saw coming. Elena, while meeting with Townsend operative Edgar Bosley, is ambushed by an assassin who, in the resulting chaos, kills Edgar and leaves Elena and Stacey to drown. Edgar's protege, Jane Kano, rescues them and brings them to Townsend’s operative Rebekah Bosley with the help of her partner, Sabina Wilson. Rebekah tasks the Angels with breaking into Brock's company headquarters to steal the remaining Calypso prototypes before they can be duplicated, and Elena and Stacey join them

Caught in the whirlwind of the Townsend Agency, Stacey works to battle the demons of her past and be there for her best friend. Angel or not, she will never let anything happen to Elena.

Stacey shook her head when she saw the note sittingwedged in the door of her hotel room. Years ago, she would’ve stopped in her tracks with the cold hand of fear freezing her in place. But she’d grown used to it by that point. Knew what it said before she opened it.Didn’t even have to open it. Just had to move. She picked up the note, unlockedthe door to her room, and went inside. She tossed the note onto the desk in thecorner then went straight to her bags.

Taking out her phone, she pulled her bag frombeneath her bed and started to stuff her clothes inside. She waited with baitedbreath as her father answered the call. “Stace?” He asked, voice immediatelytinged with concern.

“I’m okay,” she said, to his relieved sigh. “Shefound me again.”

There was silence then a resigned, “Where are yougoing now?”

“I’ll call you when I get there. I love you.”

“I love you, too. Be safe.”

Stacey hung up once more, tossed her phoneinto the side of her bag and continued to gather her belongings—a few days’worth of clothes, a hair tie, a water bottle, her wallet, her phone, and a photoof herself and her dad—as quickly as she could. If she was found that quickly, afteronly a few days of arrival, then she needed to get away.

Swinging her bag onto her shoulder, the crosswindknocked the note off the desk. It fluttered to the ground and opened.

Stacey zipped her bag shut, tossed the noteinto the trash can, and left the room, pulling her hood up over her hair.Became a silhouette among the shadows of the darkened hotel. Was gone beforeher other would even think of contacting her again.

“I never want to see you again!”

She’d said that to her mother years ago, shemeant it. And that’s why she was always moving.

“Okay, you got this,” Stacey said, following close behind Elena as they walked into Brok Industries, hands cupped around Elena’s to protect her project.

“I got this,” Elena agreed.

“You so got this. Just remember, shoulders back, head up, and confidence.”

“Confidence!” Elena repeated.

“Confidence.” Stacey removed one hand from Elena’s and wiped away at a fake tear. “My roome’s all grown up. First MIT and now the world.”

A quiet giggle escaped Elena’s lips. “Well, I wouldn’t go that far...” She turned her gaze to the receptionist area and smiled brightly at the blonde behind the front desk. “Hey, Ingrid.”

Ingrid’s blonde head abruptly bobbed up from behind the computer, making Stacey start in surprise before she started giggling, the image of a blonde, bobble-headed, jack in the box immediately coming to mind.

“You are late,” Ingrid said, eyes on Elena. Though they quickly shuttled over to Stacey to give her a icy cold stare. “Mr. Flemming is waiting.”

Stacey started to giggle harder, unable to stop herself. Elena glared at her out the corner of her eye. “Sorry, sorry,” Stacey whispered. She couldn’t help it. The image was too hard to pass up.

“‘Oh, uh, isn’t the meeting set for nine?”

“Yes. Nine am is when the meeting starts, which is exactly now.” Ingrid turned on her heel to leave. “And, please, leave your dog behind.”

Stacey abruptly stopped laughing. She squinted her eyes toward Ingrid. “Did she just call me a dog?”

“You weren’t supposed to laugh!”  Elena practically pouted, stomping her foot on the ground. She glanced at Ingrid, who looked back at her with an inquisitive once over, then back to Stacey who smiled sheepishly.

“Oops.”

“I can do this,” Elena said quietly.

“You can do this,” Stacey agreed.

Elena took in a deep breath, rolling back her shoulders as she stood in front of Brock Industries, holding onto a Calisto prototype. She fumbled with it in her hands. “I can go in and...meet with Fleming and present my case.”

Stacey nodded. “You’re going to change the world.”

“And I’m not going to throw up,” Elena added.

“Totally not.” Stacey shook her head, ponytail swinging behind her as she did so. “You’re going to go in there and speak your mind. And you’re goign to change things.” Elena gave a tiny smile as she nodded, soaking in the pep-talk. “And I’ll be right behind you cheering you on.” She cupped her hands around her mouth. “That’s my best friend! You go best friend! No?” She noticed Elena shaking her head.

“No,”  Elena agreed. “You’re going to sit in the lobby and wait for me and not touch anything.”

“Not touch anything.” Stacey nodded. “Got it. They won’t even know I’m there.” She mimed zipping her lips shut then moved to follow Elena inside, stopping when her best friend stopped.

Elena looked at her carefully. “And no pom-poms.”

With a pout, Stacey pulled mini pom-poms from her back pocket and tossed it in the nearby trashcan. “You’re no fun.”

Cadence hates the texture of suede and velvet. She will cringe whenever feeling it.

Dawn once got her leg stuck behind her head and has had a fear of tight spaces ever since

Brielle can't sing to save her life and its to everyone's displeasure that, despite it, she loves to sing.

Stacey Segal's favorite food is cereal. She'll even forgoe going to restaurants for cereal.

Brady tugs on his ear when he's tired, a habit he's had since he was a baby.

Riley

The Jacksons (Multi-fandom): Their abuse. They’ve very good at hiding what’s going on with Robert, their foster father...until they don’t want to keep it a secret anymore.

Cadence (The Flash): She used to have an eating disorder (they don’t completely go away but she’s not affected by it as much anymore)

Brielle (Narnia): She legitimately hates how much she has to take care of her father despite how much she loves him.

Gabby (Riverdale): How smart she is. Gabby’s actually a genius, she just hides it for Cheryl’s sake.

Stacey (Charlie’s Angels): The reason why she’s so protective of Elena. (I’m not spoiling this yet, lol).

Cleo (Until Dawn): Her cancer

Rhuben: I’ll do a few for funsies! Some of these are kind of spoilers, but not at the same time (if that makes sense.)

Averey (The Flash): Probably her smoking habit when she was younger

Averey (Criminal Minds): Blames herself for the end of her engagement

Bonnie/Bo (Riverdale): Views her hours in a holding cell at the sheriff’s office as a better night spent than being home alone. In a way, she looks for reasons to be taken in.

Stacey works well for being alone. She actually prefers to be alone, often being mistaken for being an introvert, and then surprises everyone with her extreme outward energy.

Stacey Segal is the quickest OC I've come up with. It took me 10 minutes after watching Charlie's Angels to have her name, backstory, relationship with the characters, how she fit on the team, and the story's plot twist all comen together.

Took me another 20 to find her fc and another 10 to make her introductory edit.

For oc’s that celebrate, who gets most into the holidays and who would rather have nothing to do with them?

In general, apart from dark humor comments the Jacksons (fandom dependent) make of the “Christmas Spirit” having been beaten out of them years before, they love Christmas. In the past, there’s been worries that even after being adopted they wouldn’t get anything for Christmas, or Riley and Rhuben wouldn’t be able to get their brothers a lot with what little money they were able to scrounge together, but they love Christmas. Hot chocolate, egg nogg, putting up the Christmas lights (they have the best lights on their house wherever they are and consistently try to out do themselves each year), the Christmas trees, the boys trying to catch people under the mistletoe, it’s all a great time for them - even when they showcase their talent, much like trained seals, for a performance of a song or two.

Riley: Mine’s a real simple answer, the only one of my OCs who don’t really celebrate the holidays are Gabby Rush (Riverdale) and Stacey Segal (Charlie’s Angels). Everyone else will celebrate anything and everything to different degrees of love for the holiday.

Rhuben:

Averey Moore (The Flash/Criminal Minds): Loves Christmas, but more so just likes spending time with her mom and dad. Playing every card/board game they own/know, the anticipation of deciding which one gift (small medium, large) to open on Christmas Eve, and exchanging new tree ornaments.

Bonnie “Bo” Evans (Riverdale): Doesn’t so much celebrate the holidays at her own home, but does with the Muggs family. No matter the holiday, she can expect a place at the dinner table set up for her.

Issi Winters (Narnia): Is ok with Christmas; but it’s harder when having to either spend it with the worry that something will happen while he’s off to war, or just spending it in the hospital. Hospital staff is always warm and welcoming and knows how to bring in Christmas cheer, but it’s recently brought more glum memories than good ones.

Verity Calvert (Harry Potter): Can’t stand Christmas. Mostly for the fact that it means she has to come home from school to her parents’ large, and mostly empty house - if not for the many wizard families that come in to spend the holidays talking about what’s going on at the Ministry. And she has to fall in line with it all, making sure to keep up the outwards appearance of the Calvert family.
