yes hpma owns my ass right now, so ofc i ended up drawing bryony's dorm in game. b/c i can~ this was a bit of a mission b/c my art style is transitioning to a more over-painting style - one i've wanted for YEARS but could never figure out how to make it work, but things are finally falling into place with and I'm figuring it out this time??

w/e i'm taking the w and running with it. so yeah there's a lot about this that can be improved upon, but there's also A LOT that i'm super proud of with this.

HP Next Gen AW- Beach Day

As John and Shreya set everything on the sand, Yasemin was already taking pictures of the beach on different angles as Scott and Jude discussed hockey passes and Noor started taking off her clothes, showing off her new bikini that Mansi had bought for her.

After setting the towels, Shreya too showed off her navy blue bikini, and John smiled at her "That's a gorgeous bikini. How come I never saw it before?"

Shreya shrugged "A gift from my father after he finished his business in Singapore."

Overhearing them, Yasemin clapped "Ohh! I have to show you my new bikini! It's gorgeous! Look!" She took off her beach dress and showed her pink and white bikini, and Scott beamed, a small flush on his cheeks.

"You look gorgeous, my love, as usual."

"Aww, Scotty!" She kissed his cheek, and he gave her a quick peck.

Noor, following the lead of her friends, also showed her bikini. Jude looked at her before commenting "You look great. It suits you perfectly."

"Let's hit the water! I'm already sweating."

Shreya took off to the water, and shrieked "Ahh! Cold!"

Yasemin followed her sister "I'm sure it's fi-AHH! COLD!"

Scott chased after her "Don't worry, I'll warm you!"

Noor chuckled, and took Jude's hand and they walked slowly, watching how Shreya tried to adjust to the cold Irish shore, and Scott carrying a giggling Yasemin on his arms, shouting how he'd protect her from the cold waters. They were exchanging kisses and giggles.

"Huh. I don't feel cold anymore." Jude commented.

Noor squeezed his hand "You're quite warm, yes."

He kissed her hand "I'll go try practise some hockey and let John have fun in the water."

Jude quickly exchanged places with John, who didn't seem to mind the cold water and soon had Shreya on his arms, tickling her and playing in the water.

"Scott, careful! You'll ruin my curls!" Yasemin cried, giggling.

After a good time in the water, the couples eventually returned to shore, where Shreya and John handed everyone their snacks and started swapping tales "...And then, Luke swore to never come to us with the beach!" Shreya giggled.

"Poor Luke! Imagine that all the birds nearby attack you and steal your lunch! He handled it better than I would have..." Yasemin empathised with her cousin.

Scott, who had his arm around her, kissed her cheek "Don't worry darling, I'll protect you from the aggressive birds."

Jude looked at Noor amused "Pretty sure Noor wouldn't need my assistance."

John laughed "Neither should Shreya. When it comes to food, the girl is mean."

They all laughed as Shreya stick out her tongue to John.

As the dawn began to come to the beach, Scott laid his head on Yasemin's lap as they whispered and giggled between them, Noor and Jude watched a hockey game in comfortable silence and Shreya and John cuddled, sunbathing with their eyes closed. They all silently agreed that they should make of this a tradition.

Shreya grew up travelling between Antakya (Turkiye), Dublin (Northern Ireland) and Kolkata (India), living a comfortable life and in the public eye since she descended from the former House of Osman through her paternal three-times great grandmother Nilufer Sultan, later known as Battersea. Her mother Esmanur was her direct descendant and her father was a famed businessman who travelled often. She grew up with everything she ever wanted, and even took in her sort of cousin Luke Battersea.

Mother: Esmanur Zeynep Battersea 

The only daughter of Bayezid Battersea, she was a proud and entitled woman who was used to have the princess treatment. She planned to marry highly, given that her heraldic blood was on her side. She married Mahmud Parsons, a wealthy Indian businessman. Despite him being away and Esmanur flauntering her own wealth, they had a daughter together, Shreya, and doted on her like nobody else. They raised her so that she’d know who she was and carry on their legacies.

A wealthy businessman in Mumbai, he was introduced to Esmanur during one of his annual visits to Istanbul and was quickly charmed by her. Shreya has always had a crush on John Arthur, but who wouldn’t? He was handsome, charismatic, athletic, sweet and such an incredible young man. Shreya never made her move, noticing his heart was elsewhere. 

After graduation, they found one another again. She noticed how lost he seemed and Shreya felt that way too, and both of them started dating while they helped one another find their path. He was her first everything: first serious relationship, first intimate time, first boy to bring home, first time she ever fell in love... and they shared two beautiful years together, him almost becoming family. When they started inquiring about him popping the question, many aspects in their lives had changed. 

An old love of John had returned and, after much deliberating, decided to end the relationship. It ended amicably and, after healing from the heartbreak (she had been used to him being there) they became good friends and, though Shreya never knew Theo’s secret, came to like him and understand why John loved him. 

Kevin Farrel (husband) 

Shreya and Kevin went to the same year and had similar ambitions, making them good friends. They had a special connection, though Shreya was caught up in her crush with John, thus never saw Kevin, but from time to time, she’d have heart flutters when he smiled at her. Kevin, however, always had a crush on the brilliant, cultured, intelligent and incredibly beautiful Shreya, and seeing that she did not feel the same, decided to bury himself on his studies. 

They met years later after their graduation, and reconnected when she went to see Robyn on the Quidditch World Cup. Kevin, more confident, asked Shreya out and started seeing one another. Shreya had gotten out of a long relationship with John and had just come back from vacationing in her hometowns- Kolkata (formerly known as Calcutta) and Antakya, which are located in India and Turkey respectively. They fell in love and, after a year and a half of dating, Kevin proposed to Shreya, and they were married when they were 28.

Shreya and Jupiter have similar personalities and soon clicked. Shreya introduced Jupe to Arabic and Indian poetry, as well as Turkish dizis and Bollybood films. She also learned from her how to draw and French and Italian poetry and literature

Descendant of Simon Battersea ( @unfortunate-arrow ) and Divya Parsons, Shreya grew up in both Indian and Turkish culture, all while being raised in England. Thankfully, her world was far kinder than it had been to her great-great-great-great-grandmother, Nilüfer Sultan and Divya Parsons. She was named Shreya, for when she was born, they could tell she'd be a flawless beauty, and Hümasah after two sultanas of the Sultanate of Women: Hümasah, daughter of Sehzade Mehmet, Sultan Süleyman I's favourite granddaughter and Hümasah Sultan, daughter of Safiye Sultan, sultana of sultanas. Being descended of strong women, she is a strong woman herself, rarely allowing anyone step on her. She's a proud Indio-Turkish woman and is sorted in Slytherin, for she has great plans for the wizarding world, starting with being the first woman to be Minister of Magic of foreign origin.
