I know this one’s done the rounds a bit so I’m gonna pass on tagging (if it’s slipped by you and you wanna do it, by all means go ahead!!) but I was tagged by @shecamefromwildspace thankyou thankyou!! :D

your muse’s name: Ahuska Crow (formerly Charka). Hus’ika, Bec’ika to her parents and Auntie Bes’laar, Pout Snout (and variations thereof) to Crow, and Puppy to Nines (Crow’s the only other being allowed to call her this but he generally doesn’t).

faceclaim of your muse:

I mean I don’t have a lot to work with haha! But in truth I do generally look up pictures of lionesses when working out Ahuska’s snoot from various angles, though I also sort of keep Audrey Hepburn in mind when I think about her eyes and jawline. I dunno she’s a Bothan what can you do!

two headcanons you have for your muse:

I mean when it’s an OC whose life you have complete control over it’s more of a ‘canon’ right? Though I do have a lot of headcanons when it comes to the Bothan species! One is about Wrendui, the secret Bothan spy-language conveyed by fur ripples -  in my mind, it operates somewhat like morse code, ie a very simple set of ‘gestures’ or ‘fur positions’ that can be conveyed on any fuzzy body part that spells things out and is difficult to convey things ‘accidentally’ with. Ahuska is totally Wrendui-illiterate and having never been exposed to it or had practice with it growing up probably doesn’t have the fine motor control over fur-rippling to even make a decent attempt.

I’m not sure if this counts more as a headcanon than a running gag, but Ahuska is also doomed to never eat a donut. She’s been craving one for years and every attempt to peacefully enjoy a donut has been thwarted thus far and I’m pretty sure the galaxy will implode if she ever actually gets one in her mouth.

seven people your muse loves / likes:

Crow, her husband. Nela, her daughter (adopted, but as good as blood, because that’s Mandos for you!). Nines, though that’s a very complicated kind of love driven more by loyalty than affection at this stage and it’s still changing. Her parents Santha (deceased) and Jinn (recently back from the dead). Her childhood best-friend-slash-kinda-auntie, Bes’laar. And Lyrisal... oh, she likes Lyrisal a lot, and more with every bit of time she spends with her. She’d like to know her well enough to love her, but there’s been so much getting in the way and right now there’s a lot of guilt wrapped up in that relationship, too. (Kovar probably also falls into the ‘likes despite everything but dear god there’s a lot of guilt there’ category, too.)

a phobia your muse has

More like an irrational revulsion rather than actual fear, but there’s a type of wading bird that lives on Concord Dawn that she has loathed since she was very, very small. Ahuska doesn’t support cruelty to animals or their habitats of any kind ever but they don’t count as animals and their swamps can all burn.

I would like to share one of my short stories, "The Jar of A Legend", and its protagonist, Sántha Negrescu, in the following post here:

To keep it brief, here's an information about Sántha:

Born on November 11, 1954 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Sántha is the third generation of Romanian-Canadian Moroi vampire born to the Negrescu family.

He is considerably skinny and pale, with his waist size around 23-26 inches. He is 5’7″ (170 cm) and has a pair of pure blue eyes. He has a dark brown hair, thin lips with a pair of fangs appeared between them. His most distinct feature would be his striking eyebrows that give the impression of a fierce, young vampire master.

He’s quite agile, able to climb walls and rocky surfaces, and has a nocturnal vision. He can shapeshifts into animals like a bat or a wolf and has a pair of strong, sharp fangs.

Upon first meeting, Sántha appears awkward and stiff. He tends to be an introvert, often hides himself from the world, but is quite talkative around his family and closed friends. However, he’s quite observant of the world around him, a deep thinker who is inquisitive and always wonders about how the environment around him works. He can be uplifting, especially to his mother and grandparents. He’s self-governed, self-reliant and, although he has no ties to any allegiance, he loves his family.

He’s interested in true crime, video games (arcade being his favourite place), the colour black and red, and books with purple/archaic phrases.
