So in honor of World Yoga Day. I wanted to ask do your MC‘s and or OC‘s practice any type of sports?

If yes which one and why?

Hi! Sorry to take so long to answer. I started re-reading my OCs' profiles to answer, had an idea to answer with moodboards and got sidetracked 😅

I didn't know there was a world yoga day. That's so cool! If I knew it sooner, I would've properly celebrated the occasion by going back to my yoga sessions. Oh well... Maybe next week 😁

Anyway... to answer your ask, most of my OCs aren't super into sports. Some of them do yoga (Evelyn, Natasha) or go to the gym (Evelyn, Veronica, Samantha) sometimes whenever they try to adopt a healthier lifestyle, but they rarely stick to the plan for more than six months lol

But among the lazy ones, one of them managed to go from extremely lazy to slightly healthier:

Daphne Wang-Foredale:

Daphne grew up dancing because she wanted to be an opera singer/actress like her mother, so she took ballet and jazz classes. When she became Viscountess Foredale, she started learning ballroom dancing and loved it. She also practiced tennis for a while, but didn't like it. She only played because her grandmother insisted. As she grew older and eventually realized junk food and mopping on the couch wouldn't do her any good, she started taking contemporary dance classes three times per week and returned to ballroom dance classes once a week with Hamid.

I have two OCs who have been into sports and being fit most of their lives:

Alisha Hastings:

Alisha grew up dancing ballet. She was enchanted by the Sleeping Beauty ballet play she watched with her mother and grandmother in Paris and begged to start dancing ballet. Over the years, she learned a bit more about Indian culture and started yoga. She loves it and practices every day (20 min after waking up + 15 min before going to bed). During her years studying at Le Cordon Bleu, n classmate invited her to an aerial dance class. She thought it was fun and practices twice per week (or whenever her schedule allows).

Jade Bourbon-Rys:

The Queen Consort of Cordonia is an authentic fitness freak and has a very strict training routine: Jogging (1h)+ Dancing or Swimming (1h) + Crossfit or MMA (1h) six times per week. This routine was created with the help of her personal trainer to get her in shape right after she got engaged to Liam and she kept it after getting married because exercising helps reducing stress and her compulsive behavior. In high school, Jade was on track team and though she had an unstable life since her mother passed away, every now and then she went jogging because she does feel better while running.

Bonus (not a Choices OC, but adding just because I love her 😍)

Stella Lovejoy:

Stella grew up practicing dancing (mainly ballet and jazz) as prep work for what she really loved: figure skating. For a while, she believed she would be an athlete, but after an accident during practice, surgeries and a long recovery process to walk again, she left her childhood dream behind and switched to swimming (I forgot to add it to her moodboard 🫣) and boxing to build leg muscles and strength. She still practices both whenever she has some spare time.

I'll answer with my mordern gals

Nicole's first kiss was during primary. She told her first male friend that she wanted her first kiss to be with someone she trusted and, during recess, she kissed him for roughly five seconds. It was sweet and short

Samantha's first kiss was with a classmate. She had a small crush on him and dared him to kiss her, so he did. It was nice

Alaska's first one was with a neighbour of her mother's. He was handsome and she wanted to have the experience, so they did

For Hayley, it was during her last years of high schools. An old friend was there at her graduation and she trusted him, so she asked him to kiss her for at least five seconds. He did. It was nice and easy (fun fact, she's Alaska's mum)

Nicole Donovan

Funny scenario: She'd probably be embarrassed of getting the wrong number (she probably sent Briar a meme about being a mom of small children) and apologized and asked them to please delete the number and forget about it

Spicy scenario: Nicole thinks that sending pics to her spouse now at her age when he sees it every night is not necessary, so this scenario wouldn't happen, but if it would, she'd write a paragraph of how sorry she is and to please delete the number, photo and don't mention it to anyone

Samantha Foredale

Funny scenario: She'd probably send a neurology meme to a classmate and send it to a professor and tell them that she clicked the wrong number and to please forgive her and that it won't happen again

Spicy scenario: After her pregnancy, she'd probably take it for herself but accidentally send it and asking them to please delete the photo and number and please don't mention it and forget about it

Then we have the newest one, Aurelia of Kent, daughter of Richard of Caen, our ancestor and founder of the Foredale bloodline

Joanna adopted Duke Richards’s exaggerated high tenor voice “Indeed, my lady! Women ought to be stupid, meek and obedient to do my bidding! Oh, I can hardly stand the image! Excuse me, ladies, but such scandal requires me to go back to Wankerland, where I am King of Pathetic! Excuse moi!” And levelled her thigh up, as if hinting to show off his friend and marched through the door and pretended to slam, “Oh, my! I am such a big wanker that I cannot fit in the door! Guess I’ll get drunk by fantasies that will never become true, such as a lady enduring my endless talking about me until I am too drunk to even think!” She sat on the floor and jumped, “Oh, I forgot! I don’t think because I have no braincells!”

Miss Parsons was red with laughter, on the floor, barely making a noise as she laughs, clutching her stomach. Joanna crawled at her, crying of laughter, both on the floor, the painting forgotten.

“I did not know you were such a comedian, Joanna!” She said between laughter.

Chapter 14 Welcome Home 

Mr. Sinclaire was in awe with the big manor that didn’t seem to have an end. After what he’s seen, he could get lost in that manor for weeks! Joanna opened the door and showed the biggest bedroom his eyes have ever witnessed. The room was as big as his bedchambers in Bath, London and Ledford Park together. There was a fountain in a wall, a big chandelier with loads of books, the roof was arched and with painting of the Greek Gods, the walls were white, navy blue and golden, the bed was held up high, stairs in it, the floor was made of wood on one half and on the other, white marble like the Acropolis, a wall full of flowers: Forget Me Not, roses, lilies… The room had a magical essence, words could not describe it.

“Well?” Joanna asked “Do you like it?”

“You have a beautiful room, Your Highness.”

“I like it better when you call me My Lady…” She smirked.

He looked at her and he flushed pink.

She smiled at him, her face glowing with so much magic inside of her, she seemed to thrive. Her dress was beautiful: it was white, with a big V on her chest and a soft, transparent silk that revealed her curves and her hair was let down, ginger curls kissing her sides. Mr. Sinclaire’s pulse quickened, his hands itching to touch her skin, but he contained himself. He cleared his throat and saw a desk with many liquors. He served himself one and drank the witchy liquor, a soft, burning caress going down his throat.

“You know how to decorate a room… my lady.”

The Damned Daughter, Part 3: Wide Awake 

Odessa loved her daughter more than anything. She’d kill for her. Destroy for her. Ruin anything for her wellbeing. As she cooed happily, she mulled over what would happen to her: she was high in Dracarian society, which meant really vicious snakes would come to her. The thought of that worried her. Many assassinations attempts were made towards her, but she wouldn’t let them. She’d gladly give herself than let them touch her little girl. At least, in here they wouldn’t know who was she, and how much the world would change because of it.

At least not yet.

Plan B, Chapter 3: Untitled 

She smiled at him, and his heart skipped a beat. She looked divine tonight, he thought. He wanted to thank the moron who dumped her for bringing her to him tonight. He drank the entire cup and looked at Samantha. She cleared her throat as she looked at her phone, full of notifications “Oh, goodness! It’s late! I should really—,”

He did not notice what he did until he looked at it himself. Midway getting up, he had grabbed her arm gently “Don’t,” he said, without thinking, “please, stay.”

Her eyes went wide and inhaled sharply “Do you… mean what I think you mean?”

He caressed her cheek. Then her jawline. He traced her lips with his thumb and could feel her shuddering under his touch. He felt powerful, with the upper hand. Something told him he wanted this woman. His hand slipped to her neck, then to her hip, bringing her close to him “Stay. Worry about going home in the morning.” He thought to himself in that moment, that he only needed to close the small gap between them and their lips would lock. She took a deep, ragged breath, and pondered on what to do until she looked at his eyes, begging her to stay.

The call ended and Liz looked at Hayley genuinely curious “What was that?”

“What do you think it was?”

Liz chuckled “He just asked you on a date! The very same Ernest Sinclaire!”

Hayley snorted “You surprised he didn’t fume or glared at me through the screen? Or the fact that being grumpy and stoic isn’t his only personality trait and he can be actually nice to be with?”

“The second one.”

Hayley chuckled as she turned around “Ernest at first is a kind of gremlin, but once you get to know him and are patient with him and respect his times, he’s the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. Ever since a preteen, he has saved me from creeps when I wasn’t able to do so and has always been there. And yes, we like each other, but I’m taking my sweet time with him. Normally I’d bone him and break his heart, but something tells me that he is… different. Special. Worth the shot.”

The Viscountess: Unkown and untitled chapter 

She took a glance towards Ernest, who was talking to Isabelle, probably giving her instructions about the gala etiquette and what she should avoid to do in front of grown-ups. He adverted her gaze and gave her a smile and she smiled back. When he noticed her dress, his eyes went wide. It wasn’t her first choice either, but Briar insisted that with that lethal weapon, he wouldn’t be able to take his hands off her.

Everyone started to ask for dates for the first dance. Some young heiresses were fighting over who’d dance with the man of the hour: her father, who even at his age and still not over the love of his life, her mother, Mary, brought attention of women who were seeking a good marriage to get rid of poverty. Nicole shook her head as she felt a familiar tall figure staring at her. She spun around to smile at Ernest “Hey.”

“Nicole. I was wondering if you could, uh… dance with me?”

Your Place In My World

Summary: Ernest calls Samantha to a small surprise that is a big step into both their lives 

Characters: Samantha Foredale (OC), Ernest Sinclaire 

A/N: 

*English is not my first language, so please forgive any typos/ grammar mistakes

*All the characters belong to Pixelberry Company, I only own my OC 

*This is a small contribution to CFWC Females, day 4: Motherhood. 

Samantha was on the way to the flat where Ernest Sinclaire, her future baby’s father, lived. She caressed her bump as she remembered the words he said on the rather brief call: 

“I’m sorry if I bother you, but there is something I wish you to see. I have been waiting a few weeks before I knew I could show you. Please come by my house at tea time.” 

Samantha wondered what he had to show her. She already knitted a few pair of socks, and gave Ernest one pair. That moment, he smiled to her: a true, unusual smile. A broad, true one. A smile that reminded her for a moment why she fell for him, and why she gave him a chance. 

The driver, Luke, stopped by the door and looked at her “I’ll be around the neighbourhood if you need a ride back. Good luck, and do no extrenuate yourself,” 

“I will, Dad,” she teased, earning a gruffaw from him. 

The valet spotted her, as if being instructed to lead her somewhere in the house, and opened galantly the door for her. They both went from the dining room to a small hall, where Ernest was waiting curteously the lady to come. He gave her a small nod as in acknowledgement and straightened himself “I know it’s only the first month of your pregnancy, but I have been thinking ever since our conversation and... I thought I might give you a small gesture of my commitment to this baby... and to you as their mother... and my utmost respect for you,” 

He opened the door, looking anxious. She followed his gaze and gasped, a smile spreading all over her face... 

Inside the door, there was a room where a fancy crib with a sofa and some feeding bottles and baby toys for both girls and boys were there. There was a desk too, with a palette of colours and where it was neatly written ‘For the baby’s wall’s colours.” and an enormous teddy bear, alongside a letter directed to her... and other one to the baby. 

“I’ll leave you alo-- oh!” Samantha quickly hugged him tightly, emotional tears welling on her eyes. Ernest returned the embracement and smiled to himself. Maybe he could still earn her forgiveness, but his was a long way to her forgetting all the hurt he unintentionally made. He broke the embrace to look at her and she kissed his cheek. He stiffed for one moment, not expecting that. His entire body went fuzzy and his heartbeat was impossibly high. She smiled at him and squeezed his hand before whispering “Thank you, Ernest, you shouldn’t have,” 

“I did it to show you that, despite our bumpy past, I want you and this baby in my life. And... should you need a bit of escape... I hope with all my heart that you may find a home here...” He looked away, his ears burning pink. She chuckled between tears and squeezed his shoulders before caressing his cheek. “Ahem. I’ll leave you alone to read the letter... by this point, I must’ve memorized it by heart.” He admitted before leaving. 

Samantha sat down on the luxurious puff before starting reading. 

Dear Samantha: 

We’ve grown up together, our families friends, but I never paid attention to you before I started having... marriage issues with my late wife. I was certain that, after many bumps in the road, I’d grow alone and the Sinclaire line would fall with me. Until you bursted into my life that night. 

No one ever paid attention to my problems or ailments as you did. Always interested in anything I’d say, at your service and with wise advice, I thought to myself ‘could I really hold a candle to this beautiful, wise and extremely kind woman? Me, a man of tangled up emotions and too much dark past to even contribute to this woman full of light, of life, of dreams and emotions?’ Then you told me that you were pregnant of my child... our child. I could scarcely believe it myself. I was a bit scared, really. I still am. What am I to do with such a small, fragile and needy creature? But you... you make it look so easy, despite having much more bumps in the road. 

I cannot be sure if we are to ever fall in love, but you have drawn my attention and you won’t leave my mind. Your mind, your personality and intelligence has me trapped in a delicious spirall that I don’t want to escape. I am very sure I can learn to love you and respect you over other people, not just because you’re to breed our child, but you are simply worthy of it. 

I cannot promise anything, but I can assure you that I will do my best to be the man you need me to be; for you and our child. I only can hope to meet your expectations... and earn your affection and respect as well. 

I can’t wait to meet our child,

Samantha smiled through the tears before closing the envelope, sighing as she took in his words. She decided then to go to his office and knocked politely. He looked up from the papers and looked at her “Do you need something?” 

“I was thinking... if it’s a boy, may we call him Vincent?” 

He gave her a small smile “A good name, indeed. And if it’s a girl?” 

“I was thinking Lydia, like your mother... or Georgia. Georgie when she’s with... you know, us,” 

“Do not fret about names for now. We have eight months to think about it with calm. May I take you home?” 

She smiled mischievously “Only if you buy me a craving treat,” 

He gave her a smile “Anything you’d like,”
