aella espinosa - i fixated on this woman for at least three years and hardly even thought about other ocs during the time. she'll always have a special place in my heart

willow lahey - she's probably my favorite character atm and tends to be my most constant source of seratonin lmao

carter blackwood - my recent obsession! currently reading the lockwood and co books to see how she'll fit into them, so that's been fun!

bay acker - took me years to come up with a riordanverse oc and boy, was it worth it. i love them. would die for them. need to gif celeste so i can make more edits as soon as possible

evangeline hallows - i?? think?? my first oc i ever created. she's changed so much since i first created her when i was like, 12?? insane. i love her

my girl 😭 i miss her

— not to play too far into the whole ‘being a bird’ thing but pidge is a nester. her bed is a circular mattress on a short, raised platform in the corner of her room. it’s covered in messy blankets and about a dozen pillows, varying in size. she has a very hard time sleeping in normal beds.

— pidge’s hair will not hold hair dye. despite the several times she’s tried to dye it, she’s discovered that whenever she catches fire, her hair goes right back to its natural fiery red color.

— alcohol makes pidge very flammable. she learned this when she snuck a bottle of vodka from anastasia’s liquor cabinet for her, isaac, and matika (and possibly ace but he strikes me as too anxious to drink) to sip on during a sleepover bc teenage shenanigans. when she got fairly tipsy, she hiccuped, and her hair caught fire. luckily ace was the only one who noticed (probably because he was sober) and smothered the fire before isaac and matika saw.

The Past Lives of Pidge Kennedy — Idalia

Found by a group of soldiers in a forest and taken in, Idalia became a weapon of war, along with her twin brother Astro who had been born from the same phoenix feather. Idalia, who had seen more than enough death and destruction, eventually fled, leaving Astro behind, never to be seen again.

“Oh my God,” Matika leaned forward, her hands on both Ace and Pidge’s seats, “It’s Boyd. He works at the rink.”

Pidge Kennedy had been having the same nightmare for weeks. There was something important about it, she just didn't know what - that is, until she realizes the voice she's been hearing in her dreams belongs to none other than her substitute history teacher and notorious phoenix hunter, Mr. Edgar Thorn. On top of that, one of her best friends is acting super weird, there's a strange lizard man on the loose, and a serial killer is apparently trying to kill off the entire 2006 swim team.
