The Future Halcyon Legacy
From left to right: 1. Maykia Ishris Kaarz - daughter of Ulannium Kaarz and Nadia Grell 2. Firaneya Vaiken - daughter of Gahraath Vaiken and Raina Temple 3. Tasiele Beniko - daughter of Lana Beniko and Theron Shan 4. Bela Senya Carsen-Halcyon - daughter of Corellan Halcyon and Kira Carsen 5. Orgus Fideltin Carsen-Halcyon - son of Corellan Halcyon and Kira Carsen 6. Arro Tirall - adopted son of Vette and Arcann 7. Corellan Tao'ven - son of Ranna Tao'ven and Viyo of Kalikori Village 8. Qorit'oksh - son of Kael Nosrol Krannus and Jaesa Willsaam - eventually adopted into the Alliance
Well. That got out of hand. All of them wind up in the Eternal Alliance, with Tasiele acting as “The Alliance Commander” and Bela acting as “The Outlander”.
So - Any questions?

how did you come up with their names?
Oh, thank you for this ask, @actualanxiousswampwitch !
From left to right - Maykia Ishris Kaarz is named for Nadia's mother (Maykia) and Ulannium's mother (Ishris) (Thank you, Wookiepedia.) Firaneya Vaiken … I think I just pulled that from a name generator or something. Tasiele Beniko is named for Theron's grandmother, who was exiled from the Jedi for going "grey". You briefly hear about her when you find Satele's camp on Odessen. Bela Senya Carsen-Halcyon is named for the two women who became mother like figures to Kira - Bela Kiwiiks from the story, and Senya Tirall, from my head-canon. Orgus Fideltin Carsen-Halcyon is named for Corellan's mentor, Orgus Din, and for his old comrade, Fideltin Rusk. (They couldn't exactly make his middle name "Scourge", could they?) Arro Tirall … same as Firaneya. I think I just created it. Corellan Tao'ven was obviously named for "Corellan Halcyon" Qorit'oksh was named by his mother, Jaesa. His name roughly translates into "Future's End" in the old Sith language. (Jaesa was going through a rough time at that moment. Like, bat-shit insane. Its possible she wanted Qorit'oksh to grow up to destroy everything. Like, the entire galaxy. It was bad. Obviously, there's a long story there in how he wound up joining the Alliance.)
Thank you again for this ask.

Tagged by @sithy-tricks - thank you so much! 🤭
So many people have helped me within this fandom, inspiring me to grow as a writer. I think... I'd like to do someone every week.
But I would like to start by thanking @the-raven-of-highever / @raven-of-domain-kwaad - whose support has definitely influenced my work. I wasn't sure how much I would develop my "future of the Halcyon Legacy" characters and stories, but I've taken the first step in that direction thanks almost entirely to you. I'm grateful for your prompts and asks, and I promise you I will get to them all... someday!
Thank you again!

OC : Orgus Carsen-Halcyon
Earlier, I introduced you to Bela Senya Carsen-Halcyon and Tasiele Beniko two characters from a sort of "Future AU" to my Halcyon Legacy.
This is Bela's brother, Orgus.
His full name is Orgus Fideltin Carsen-Halcyon. He is (obviously) the son of Corellan Halcyon and Kira Carsen. (His middle name is for Rusk, in case you didn't pick up on that.)
He's about two years younger than Bela, and although he technically had the same Force potential, his personality was radically different.
Corellan and Kira tried to raise to raise their children free to choose their own lives. In regards to the Force, and everything else.
In Bela's case, she chose the Alliance, and an approach to the Force that most closely resembled the Zakuulan Knights. Except instead of serving the Throne, she served a series of principles.
In Orgus' case, he said "oh f*ck no" and ran the hell away. Not because Kira and Corellan pressured him, but because he felt pressured by everything else. I rolled him up as as a smuggler since it fit him better than anything else. He wound up attaching himself to Nico Okarr for awhile, who at this point is almost 130 years old, and still hasn't aged a day. At some point, young Orgus leaves his lightsaber behind and gets himself some cybernetic implants, as you can see.
He was - in part - inspired by the Legends character of Cade Skywalker.
The Star Wars : Legacy story was an interesting concept - let's flash-forward a hundred years to see how the descendants of Luke, Han and Leia deal with a new Sith-run Galactic Empire. Except the main protagonist, Cade, is in no mood to be a hero, having lost his father and most of his friends years earlier during another Jedi purge. From there, he became a drug-addicted bounty hunter and smuggler and all-around not nice guy. The comic basically covered his long path to finally deciding to take up the mantle the Force had shoved down his throat.
(Today - unfairly - the Legacy story is mostly known for Darth Talon’s aesthetic, because... well, you can draw your own conclusions.)
I wasn't even into the series when it originally ran, but I liked the concept of a young character running away from the mantle of 'hero'. Orgus is fortunate that his sister was more than willing to snatch that mantle for herself. Both of them face difficulties along the way.
I don't know if I'll ever actually write their story. As I said, I basically consider it a "Future AU" at the moment.
But I wanted to share it with you.
Thanks for reading.

Can I ask what the relationship between Orgus and Bela is like? How does Bela feel about her brother essentially running for the hills and how does Orgus feel about Bela shouldering the responsibility of the Alliance? Do they even give each other much thought or just live their separate lives away from one another?
As you might imagine - with them being siblings - its complicated.
On the one hand, by the time they grow up, the two understand each other quite well. They each know what made the other into the person they are. They both respect the choices they have made.
On the other hand... there's some slight resentment.
Bela came first, two years before her brother. Which doesn't sound like a lot, but because she was first, a lot of pressure was placed on her. Not by Corellan, but somewhat by other people. Even Kira.
Then Orgus came, and quite frankly had a much easier time of it.
From Bela's perspective, her little brother was a spoiled brat who got to run amuck while she pushed herself to live up to legacy of her parents. She drove herself incredibly hard, and working through that took a long time. If she hadn't had people in her life like Senya and Tasiele, she might have made some choices that she couldn't have worked through. So adolescence was hard. From her perspective, Orgus has always done whatever he wanted and been given a pass.
From Orgus' perspective, his big sister is everything the galaxy ever wanted Orgus to be. When he finally bolted, he was running from that as much as anything.
But - after reaching adulthood - they respected each other's choices. They respected they've chosen their own paths. And on rare occasions when Orgus does visit, he's great with his nieces and nephews.
And ideally, that would be the end of the story.
Until the day - many years later - Bela sent Orgus a holo-message saying 'Hey - Dad's sick. Come home.'
Orgus - half-way across the galaxy - is doing smuggler stuff. He replies 'Okay - i'll wrap up here and head back in a couple of days.'
It takes him four days total to make it back to Odessen.
Corellan dies after three days.
So - that leads to some tension. Because Bela, Kira and everyone else are at his bedside when he dies, but his son isn't.
Corellan tells Bela two things just before he dies. First, he tells her how proud he is of her. Second, for her to please not resent Orgus for not being there in time.
Yeah. I have angst.
(Keep in mind this is all 'future AU', and subject to change.)
But - thanks for the ask!

🚌 For the members of the Halcyon legacy!
headcanon memes inspired by things i like, part 3
Oh, wow. Everyone? Awesome sauce.
[ 🚌 ] what haunts your muse? is there any event in your muse’s past that they can’t move past?
Corellan Halcyon
The decision to attack the Emperor's Fortress at the end of chapter two of the class story, despite the fact that Kira warned him that it was a trap. He knows he isn't really responsible for what he did under the Emperor's control, but he is responsible for ignoring his partner's counsel. He will never make that mistake again.
Ulannium Kaarz
The Eternal Empire's invasion - so soon after Corellan's "death" - was hard on the Barsen'thor. He - along with the council - made a number of decisions that went poorly, and many people were killed. By the time it was over, he had intended to leave the Jedi Order. (Gnost-Dural convinced him to stay.)
Bas'riish
Aside from her childhood? Bas'riish will probably struggle a bit with what happened on the Belsavis Star Fortress for the rest of her life. She'd vowed never to be treated like that, and yet she was.
Kael Nosrol Krannus
Kael absolutely shattered when he discovered the truth about Vitiate. He'd been a true-believer, like the Servants of the Hand, or the Children. Finding out the Emperor viewed the Empire as nothing but a resource absolutely broke him.
Gahraath Vaiken
Oh, boy. How long do you have? Cipher Nine killed a lot of people who - upon reflection - he doesn't think deserved it, particularly Mia Hawkins on Tatooine. He also wonders if he'll regret sending Ki Sazen to become a Sith on Taris. Those are just two examples.
He wants the galaxy to be a better place. Cliche' though that might be.
Xadya
Xadya's pre-class story mentor taught her that the contract was all. Nevermind the morality of the situation. She let Mako guilt her out of a couple of kills, like Albea on Hutta, but she also put down some people who were mostly in the wrong place at the wrong time. She promised Mako that they'd stop doing that after the class story.
Illaynah Antilles
Illaynah followed a number of Garza's orders that eat at her to this day. She remembers the "cyborgs" on Coruscant, for example. She killed them, and they (probably) weren't a danger to anyone.
Zu'fanda Pampya
Zu'fanda is absolutely haunted by the years she spent as a slave in the Sith Empire. She vowed never to give anyone that level of control over her again. That's driven her pursuit of power.
Bela Senya Carsen-Halcyon
Bela knows that both her parents were good to her. But there were times her relationship with Kira became... strained. It eventually gets better, but it was bad for awhile.
Tasiele Beniko
There were times in her life where the dark side threatened to overwhelm Tasiele entirely. The worst was when Corellan told her about his 'retirement plan'. She briefly fought Bela, and that got to her. For one second, she might have been willing to kill the love of her life. That moment haunts her.
Orgus Carsen-Halcyon
Orgus knows he's something of a screw up. For the longest time, he embraced it. But he's still haunted, knowing he could have gone further.
Tyzen Pyne
For Tyzen Pyne, he'll always wonder what might have been between himself and Denielle. He is haunted by it, but it does get to him.
Thanks for the asks, @keirangoldenwatch !

Does Orgus Carsen-Halcyon have a crew or any close companions that travel with him (besides Nico Okarr)? Who are the kind of people that he enjoys spending time with?
*Thinks*
*Checks his notes*
*Thinks*
*Realizes he now has to design a rag-tag crew of colorful characters to serve as Orgus' supporting cast*
*Takes a look at his ever-growing spreadsheet of OCs*
*Weeps* 😭
I know that one of them is a Rodian.
That is all.

for the love & sexuality questions...❤, 💟 and 🍼 for Bas? :D
LOVE & SEXUALITY & RELATIONSHIP HEADCANONS
Thanks for the asks, @itstheelvenjedi !
Art by @chaosandwonder
💓 When did they have their first crush?
There was a boy on Ryloth named Rol. The two were about 13 when they'd sneak off to stargaze... and kiss. (Bas was supposed to be watching her siblings.) Unfortunately, Rol's family were rivals of Bas' family. Rol's uncle (loosely based on Bib Fortuna) was involved with the Hutt slave trade. Ever read Romeo & Juliet? It went like that, except with a lot more dead bodies. (Its related to why Bas hates Hutts.) I doubt i'll ever tell the story, but suffice to say, its why Bas has NO interest in permanent relationships.
💟 What is their stance on PDA?
Oh she is ALL about public displays of affection.
When Bas first met Corellan, he and Kira were helping Corso rescue Bas from that Hutt on Nar Shaddaa. (She was in the slave girl outfit at the time.) She took one look at Corellan and jumped into his arms; hugging him and kissing his cheek. She intended to seduce him, but Kira was giving her a death-glare at the time, so she wisely backed off. Instead, she declared him her adopted brother.
Still, she is VERY flirty, and not afraid of physical gestures.
🍼 Could a partner ever change their mind on children?
@#$% no. Absolutely not.
The idea of children is reason number seven for why Bas and Risha never developed a serious relationship. (Risha wanted them someday for Dubrillion, Bas did NOT.)
Still, as an aunt, she'd spoil a child. In fact, she eventually does this with Bela and Orgus.
Thanks again for the asks!

OC Introductions and Namesakes
This… is Corellan.
No, no… I didn't make an AU where Corellan Halcyon is a Twi'lek.
This is Corellan Tao'ven. He's the son of Ranna Tao'ven (Matriarch of Kalikori Village, heavily featured in the Jedi Knight story) and Viyo Kobbeth (the Twi'lek who got abducted by the Force-sensitive Flesh Raider).
They (obviously) named him after Corellan Halcyon, having both been left with a lasting impression of my OC.
He was actually briefly mentioned in "Growing Up". He's part of my "future AU" with Bela Senya Carsen-Halcyon, Tasiele Beniko and Orgus Fideltin Carsen-Halcyon. (And a couple of others I'll tell you about later.) He's a few years older than most of them.
So he was born during the five-year gap. He was raised on a Tython that was bereft of Jedi and was still recovering from the Eternal Empire's attack. The Flesh Raiders were still a danger, but with a well-trained militia, the villagers were able to drive them off when they got to close. (More on them later.)
He grew up hearing stories from his parents about the "brave Jedi champion" who saved his parents and their village in its darkest hour.
He grew extraordinarily skilled with a vibroblade. Eventually - years later - he joined the Alliance.
I made him using the Smuggler template, but Trooper might suit him better.
My character creation addiction is going just fine, thanks.
