i was tagged by @elmsreach to make some ocs in this picrew and i hadn't done one in awhile so here we are !! i just made my dragon age girls bc i miss them terribly.

some assorted questions of interest because i can’t pick just one oc to ask questions about 😥: which oc is the most trusting? least trusting? which oc has a backstory/story that you’re particularly proud of? which oc needs a hug the most? also PLEASE say more about your snow elf dragonborn if you can because im a sucker for snow elves

um most trusting? definitely laindes, sefi would be a good choice too before she left the tower. least trusting is cery, she doesn't like to get close to anyone so if she trusts you just know it's an incredible honor

i'm going to be honest with you, i'm awful at back stories lmfao BUT i do find myself liking sefi's development over the course of the series. she starts off as this sweet, naive, trusting individual who believes in true love conquering all and things of that nature but then she's conscripted and thrust into this world filled with war and politics and she's at the front of it?? and people are expecting her to deal with it ??? it's all very overwhelming for her and she learns that there isn't a whole lot of good in the world but she can be the good she wants to see you know? she becomes more realistic in her views but that doesn't stop her from being kind and optimistic and idk i just think she's neat

oh god all of my ocs need hugs bc i'm incredibly mean to them but i'd say cery and cece are the top contenders

omg i'm flattered you asked about my snow elf. unfortunately i can't say too much bc i haven't really delved into her personality/story yet and i also completely forgot to link her tag on that oc page bc it only has a handful of things in it but here it is if you want to take a look. i'm right with you tho, i adore snow elves and their lore and idc i just thought it'd be cool for a snow elf to end up being skyrim's "savior" ya know? like this girl has lived underground for her entire life but same as sefi, ends up in a situation where what she does matters. now what she chooses to do with that power, i'm not entirely sure yet but someday i will find out ps she likes antique sword collecting and reading poetry under the stars

alright so i was bored, found this picrew and decided to make some dragon age babies !!

so we have: serafina surana, esyae mahariel, a hawke that i've named ana for the time being, laindes galavir and cery tyrzea :')

I know you said the other day that you wanted to talk about your OCs but weren't sure which or if people would be interested! I am interested in all of them but I'd love to know more about Laindes: how did they meet the inquisitor, what is their relationship like, how do the rest of the companions get along with Laindes? Or anything else you wanna share! I love OCs in general, but it's always super interesting to learn about the non-protag OCs people fit into the world!

ok so the idea i'm going with now is that laindes just wants to help, she's tired of war and wants to help those in need and most importantly, help get everything sorted out. so she just takes off one day, leaving her older sister and father, and travels to haven to join the inquisition. of course it doesn't sit well with her sister, who makes sure to visit and try to drag her back, only to be persuaded to stay (and i'm thinking their father joins them eventually too).

now as for her and cery's relationship.... she's one of two people (including vivienne) that cery can even stand when she first meets them. there's an age gap between them, laindes is 19 and cery is 32, so cery is kind of..... unintentionally motherly towards her?? so she and laindes' sister (i'm debating names right now lol) take turns making sure nobody hurts the giant marshmallow's feelings bc otherwise 🔪

she also tends to get along fairly well with the other companions, but she's closest to sera, cole, solas and dorian. she has a big fat crush on sera so she's silently pining for her affections. she is intrigued by cole's very existence and finds somewhat of a kindred spirit in him bc they both just want to help. solas is like this well of knowledge to her so she talks his ear off about any and everything she can. and dorian?? they totally started a two person book club and they spend much of their free time together just taking solace in each other's company and they share tidbits from the books they're currently reading and maybe dorian even teaches her a few magic tricks she didn't pick up over the years, and of course shares his knowledge of time magic with her.

so overall she is friend shaped and loves them all dearly ❤️

i don't think i've ever shared this but laindes is tall for an elf like really tall ..... like at least 6 foot and so she's just this ethereal gentle giant that almost floats as she walks by and i can imagine sera's reaction to first seeing her was similar to this
